16 Sep 2026: Being Made New
Look at your entire world, from within yourself to the world around you. God, who established the heavens, and formed us from the dust of the earth has put His spirit in us who believe His Son, transforming us in a moment into who He intended us to be. Although, we live in time and continue to see the effect of sin and decay around us, we are the first of all He will make new again. It’s a promise. 15 Sep 2026: Understanding
Understanding goes hand in hand with wisdom and knowledge. Each has a purpose and each supports the other. I love this saying from Proverbs: “People’s thoughts can be like a deep well, but someone with understanding can find the wisdom there.” Patience and self-control make room for comprehension to assess the challenges they we face every day. Taking time to reflect and wait for God, helps us learn better ways to respond and love others.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 14 Sep 2026: God in Us
Such a mystery, indeed! That God can and does live within us, His Spirit speaking with ours, guiding us, empowering us, protecting us and loving us. Where can we go and not see You, God? Where can we hide and not find you already there?! Such love we have yet to know – it is greater than anything we have experienced and yet – it is ours; it is God himself wanting to be a part of our everyday. Look for Him, within as you see Him in your outer world.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 11 Sep 2026: Rise Up and Help Us
Let’s be honest. When things are hard and we seem to be losing on every side; when everything goes wrong and we are unable to change the circumstances in which we find ourselves it is easy to think God has left us alone. He has turned His back. He isn’t paying attention right now. This Psalm cries out for God’s attention – to wake up. Yet, listen closely to the last line – rescue me because of Your unfailing love. Love never fails. God never fails. We can depend on it.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 10 Sep 2026: You Will Bear Much Fruit
It is easy to look for the result and ignore or be impatient with the process. Such is true with being a branch in Jesus and waiting to 'bear fruit'. We point to love, joy and peace and the outcome, and they are. We try to be them, make it happen yet it is only by being connected to the trunk and root of the Vine, and allowing the flow of nutrients to the full extent of who we are that we participate in the development of fruit. Remain in Him and you will enjoy the process of becoming one who offers the fruit of peace to those who need the refreshment of peace.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 9 Sep 2026: Come to Our Rescue
Have you ever felt so alone and oppressed that you thought God had abandoned you? The Psalmist cries of living in shame even though he has not forgotten God. There are times in our lives when hope for relief seem to be dissolving as they drift away from us. We search our hearts to see we still trust in the pain of unwarranted shame. In that trust, we remind God of His unfailing love – a love that heals and restores. That changes everything. Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 8 Sep 2026: Overcoming Troubles
Jesus overcame the world, and He helps us overcome our by living in His peace, because we have the Holy Spirit of peace. Our troubles are not light nor do they seem momentary, but it is our perspective that must be adjusted. Only in light of eternity, with the view of God’s presence and our hope for an eternal future will it all look different. If we will look beyond the physical world we live in and step into His kingdom which is also here, His peace is also in reach we will experience life instead of a dying moment. Our energy will be renewed and our hope restored in the midst of pain and trouble, indeed. Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 4 Sep 2026: Planting and Sowing Life
In the beginning, God set many things into effect. In His creating, He did not just make provision for one day, but put various laws into motion to carry on the "creating" from day to day.If we want a good return in/for our lives, the first thing to do is to sow good seeds. And what are those good seeds? In Luke's gospel, chapter 8, Jesus tells the parable of the sower. "This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God (verse 11)." Good seed is the word spoken by God and, consequently anything spoken by us that aligns itself with that word. What does your garden look like? It is filled with the products of your words. Your words produce your surroundings. Whatever we give out, is what we live in.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 3 Sep 2026: When I am Weak, then I am Strong
What does the power of God look like? As we see God revealed throughout His Word, we see a God who is all-powerful, One who can do all things, One for whom there is nothing too difficult. So, for what does He use His power? He has done and continues to do everything in His mighty power to save us, to redeem us, to set us free to be all He created us to be, to reconcile us to Himself, His children, who are created in His likeness and for His glory. The power of God does what we cannot do! In turn our greatest power and privilege is to surrender to what He is doing - loving us, so we learn how to love others. the love of God. God is love. Love is the greatest expression of power in all creation and in forever. Verse 8 in 1 Corinthians 13 remind us, Love never fails.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 2 Sep 2026: Who is Like our God?
In Deuteronomy chapter 6 we read: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD your God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” The Oneness found here is more than just one being; it has to do with a unity of thought, of purpose, and of desire. It is an agreement of thought and action. The Lord invites us to come into agreement with Him, to speak the same thing He speaks, for His desires to become our desires.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. Jesus said, "everyone who loves the truth will receive my words." We know that God's word is alive and we also know that words have life or death in them. 31 Aug 2026: When God Speaks
Being honest with ourselves is the first step to being vulnerable with God. It is knowing we need Him that frees us to begin to trust Him with examining our souls. We are fragile, made of earth, easily broken, and not easily fixed. We ask Him to take a look, wondering if this particular break is beyond His care, His abilities. He knows we are small and unsure. Yet our trust opens our hearts to the true nature of God - revealed in every word He speaks. When He breathes on us, the fog of doubt is lifted, and we see ourselves as He sees us.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 28 Aug 2026: Worship
In any relationship, the key to the relationship is communication. There are two important aspects to our communication with God - worship and prayer. Worship is often expressed in music, but worship is much more than being able to play an instrument or sing a song. True worship happens in our hearts. It is posture of recognition that the One who has our attention, also has our commitment to serve and honor Him.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 27 Aug 2026: Time
Throughout history, God has entered the physical realm of earth and time to speak to us, to walk with us, and to guide us. When God entered our world as Jesus, He opened the door for us to enter eternity. From the moment we believe the truth of who Jesus is and trust Him, we are given a new role. Now we have access to God in eternity because His Spirit is with us in Time. Here we live, but there we reign.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 26 Aug 2026: Work
There may be times in our lives when work feels mundane, our efforts fall short, and we question our purpose. If we are God’s children, we have a destiny that may never “look” exciting or exotic. Yet God has ordered our steps and written a plan that, if we align with it and choose to follow it, is of eternal value—to Him and for us. As one translation says, “We have become His poetry,” fulfilling the destiny designed specifically for us!Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 25 Aug 2026: Such Joy
Joy is a state of being. It is deeper than happiness, and more satisfying than laughter. It is the sigh of contentment and comfort, of realizing all the experiences of our lives add up to a purpose that God will weave into our story. Joy is the result of believing we have value, and what happens to us matters. Let these words remind you there is purpose and a plan for you – and God will be with you in this journey. 24 Aug 2026: Life is Brief
The Psalmist speaks from an honest and broken heart – addressing the brevity of life. It is a painful and sobering thought. Yet this prayer is to know how limited our time is. It is a cry for truth, even though it isn’t something we like to think about or confront. As we listen today, will this cause us to live with purpose, knowing every moment is a divine appointment IF we choose to live in God’s guidance? Might we truly guard our hearts and live in the light of God’s directives rather than the shadows of fear and loss? Even in the darkness, God is with us. It is light to Him, therefore, it is also light to us. Let it be so. Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 21 Aug 2026: Do You Hear Me?
The end of this Psalm sounds like everyday life. We go from having a good time, from living in confidence to being attacked without mercy and feeling lost. Our conversations with God, follow our experiences – from thanks to please help! There’s comfort in knowing we’re not alone – especially when we feel down. God is still near, and yes, He hears us. 20 Aug 2026: You Are My Hope
Hope is an expectancy for change, for relief, for better results. Life is truly short and often we cling to the things we acquire instead of our God who always supplies what we need. It is the gladness, joy and hope that makes life worth living. God, would you open our eyes to Your hope for us, Your joy in us and Your path which gives us purpose and meaning to our lives? 19 Aug 2026: Confident Trust
This Psalm speaks powerfully about the relationship between our trust in God and His response to our trust. When we look to Him for relief, for protection and safety, we exercise a hope and belief that He hears us and will respond and defend us. We wait in silence. Our heart is quiet because we know He is near and sees what we need. God is compassionate and kind. He desires to enter our lives – with us – to be a part of our every day, in every moment. One of the definitions for 'glory' is: magnificence or great beauty. Such is the description of God, and yet it falls short. Psalms 89:14 (NIV) says, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.” God’s justice is based on truth. 16 Jul 2026: Justice and Humility
Scripture tells us: Don’t repay evil for evil. Share in others’ sorrows. Do what is just and right. Might living with and in humility help us form the attitude of not seeking our own good, but another’s? To be like Jesus, is to take these words seriously, choose to love, choose to forgive, choose to do the right thing – every time.Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 14 Jul 2026: Self Control
Once again, the realm of God's kingdom turns our world upside down. Real freedom is being free from self-indulgence. When we control our desires, and seek another's well-being, we are loving deeply and restoring life and freedom in this world. We are equipped by love to move beyond, to see beyond ourselves into another's need and love them in it. Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America. 13 Jul 2026: Conversations with God, Part 2
Paul reminds the Philippians (and us!) to not fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray; encouraging us to let Jesus be the center of our life. He will also displace our worry, our fears and our doubts. When we choose to rejoice, and trust Him, He gives us a sense of belonging, of wholeness. 10 Jul 2026: Gentleness
It is an interesting concept - to clothe ourselves with gentleness. Might that be one of the qualities people see first when they meet us? Might that be what we wear in our homes and in the marketplace? What would change in our world if we walked through our day with the heart of gentleness toward every creature, every person? Father, would you place this quality of character across our shoulders, that we might carry your compassion everywhere we go?Daylight Meditations is a daily podcast from CFO North America.
