Makéz & LYMA - Come Back Tomorrow

Electronic genre-hoppers Makèz make their Defected debut alongside fellow Amsterdam vocalist and producer LYMA with ‘Come Back Tomorrow’. Having previously released on the London label’s sister arm Classic Music Company, collaborating with rising artists Pinty and Life on Planets for ‘Loosen Your Bones’ and ‘Give It Life’ respectively, Makèz now land on Defected Records proper. With upcoming sets at the label’s flagship festival in Malta and debut season at Chinois in Ibiza, Makèz’s relationship with the house music institution continues to grow year on year, signposted by this Defected debut - ‘Come Back Tomorrow’. True to the Dutch duo’s collaborative nature, the upbeat record is created with LYMA, a talented singer-songwriter also hailing from The Netherlands who has recently worked with international producers Folamour, Dam Swindle and Marcel Vogel. Makèz’s signature blend of styles is present throughout ‘Come Back Tomorrow’, with groove-laden guitar patterns and striking production combining with LYMA’s bright vocals to create an immediately inviting house track that is equal parts cool and addictive.

    Solardo - Forever

Manchester duo and leaders of the UK house scene Solardo arrive on Defected with ‘Forever’, using the vocals of Key to Life and Sabrina Johnston’s 4TTF classic of the same name. The pair made their long-awaited Defected event debut in 2025, delivering their signature house and techno sound for the London label’s Pacha residency in Ibiza. Since this fan favourite set, they have continued to tour internationally, with a recent, major UK appearance at Claptone’s Masquerade London show in 2026 alongside Green Velvet. In addition to their dynamic live shows, Solardo also nurture fresh talent with their label Sola while also releasing on dance music’s hottest labels. With a throwback sonic that calls to mind the second golden era of deep house in the 2010s, ‘Forever’ is a high-energy dancefloor filler with a far-reaching vocal and slick, bassy production. Sure to be heard across the world’s biggest stages this summer and beyond, Solardo’s first Defected original is here.

Melé, Jords, Wonky Logic - So High

International producer, DJ and tastemaker Melé presents ‘So High’ with UK rapper Jords and multi-faceted producer Wonky Logic, the first single from his forthcoming Defected LP. The Club Bad founder is known for his high energy and percussive house sound, lighting up dancefloors around the world from his native UK to his newfound home of Miami. Melé has built a strong relationship with house institution Defected Records, most recently headlining their sold-out fabric London show in February 2026, while also playing at their flagship parties in Croatia, Malta and Ibiza for many years. ‘So High’ heralds the release of his upcoming LP with the label later in 2026, with this first single spotlighting Melé’s love for hip-hop alongside Jords, an established London rapper whose flow has recently featured on records with J Clu, Kobie Dee and Marie Dahlstrom. Also bringing his prowess to the release is Wonky Logic, a London-based multi-instrumentalist who has worked closely with artists like Nala Sinephro and Nubya Garcia, as well as performing and recording with Nightmares on Wax, K.O.G and Yellow Days. Together the three artists deliver ‘So High’; Melé’s percussive expertise combines with Jords’ dynamic lyricism and distinctly UK sound as Wonky Logic’s world-class guitar riffs bring a live sensibility, bridging the gap between electronic and instrumental. Promising a unique sound that brings together house and hip-hop influences in one sleek package, Defected is very proud to present much more from Melé in 2026 and beyond.

Nick Curly - Underground (Danny P x Caleb Laurenson Extended Remix)

Rising talents Danny P and Caleb Laurenson step up to remix a modern Defected classic from Nick Curly, ‘Underground’. Hailing from Dublin, Danny P is a young producer and DJ quickly gaining a strong reputation on the underground scene thanks to previous collaborations with Finn Penny, Riordan and Caleb Laurenson. He teams up with the latter once more for this remix, with Caleb Laurenson’s sound heard across BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM and supported by top selectors like Chris Stussy, Obskür and Kettama. Originally released in 2012, Nick Curly’s ‘Underground’ received a remix from Dennis Ferrer soon after its release, with both versions remaining record box staples for house heads in the know to this day. Now lending their bouncy, energetic style to the record nearly 15 years later, Danny P & Caleb Laurenson’s take on the soulful house OG transforms ‘Underground’ from club groover to big room heater.

Gissa x JAYC - Too Much For Me

Two rising Dutch talents, Gissa & JAYC land Defected Records with club-ready heater ‘Too Much For Me’. Gissa is a young producer and DJ with an impressive resume already, from playing on some of The Netherland’s coolest stages including The Cuckoo’s nest, Melkweg and Boomerang Beach Club, to locking in dates at Thuishaven, Colorado Charlie and Tomorrowland this summer. A good friend and long-time collaborator, JAYC’s career has followed a similar trajectory as a young artist on the rise. JAYC’s energetic sonic with Balearic influences comes as a result of many summers on the White Isle, complimenting Gissa’s high energy big room sound. Their latest collaboration following 2-track EP It’s Time / Showblow from earlier in 2026, ‘Too Much For Me’ blends hooky vocals with heavy production, creating a sound that is bound for crossover success on dancefloors and airwaves alike.

Dames Brown & Eddie Fowlkes - Do It

Defected Records proudly welcomes Detroit powerhouse vocal trio Dames Brown with the release of their long-awaited debut album Take Me As I Am, a vibrant, soulful celebration of the Motor City’s musical heartbeat and a tribute to their late mentor and producer, Amp Fiddler. Rooted deeply in Detroit’s rich musical lineage, Dames Brown aka Athena Johnson, Teresa Marbury, and LaRae Starr embody the spirit of Motown, the groove of Parliament Funkadelic and the fire of Aretha Franklin, weaving the influences of their hometown into a sound that’s timeless yet strikingly fresh. From their beginnings as backup singers for a local jazz instrumentalist to becoming one of the city’s most exciting vocal collectives, their journey has been one of authenticity. It was the late Amp Fiddler who first saw their potential. Crafted primarily at Amp’s home studio, Take Me As I Am is steeped in the essence of Detroit. His unmistakable touch runs through the project, from the lush instrumentation to the unfiltered energy captured in every vocal take. The result is a record that feels alive: spontaneous, deeply emotional and full of personality. Each track is a nod to Detroit’s evolving sound, connecting the dots between the city’s gospel roots and modern house heritage. Collaborations with Detroit luminaries Andrés, Eddie Fowlkes, and Waajeed tie the record firmly to its home soil, while standouts like ‘You’re The One For Me’, ‘Glory’ and ‘What Would You Do’ showcase the trio’s stunning range and charisma. With upcoming shows in their hometown Detroit and an Australia tour, plus recent appearances at Paris Fashion Week alongside Louie Vega, Defected Croatia and Glitterbox at Hï Ibiza, the trio continue to carry their message to audiences around the world; Take Me As I Am marks the start of this new chapter for Dames Brown and a continuation of Detroit’s proud legacy within the Defected family, bold, soulful and unapologetically real.
