We are promised a comforter that is always with us.

In the storm - the Savior is with you.

In every season - God has faithfully shown up. I am never alone!

Fall is here! 🍁 But more importantly- my Heavenly Father is always here! In every season I can feel the warmth of His embrace! 🧡

I know who I believe in & I know that He is able - He can handle it! Today is a reminder of who you serve! A mighty God! A God who will not leave you drowning in the darkness. He is your rescuer & your redeemer! He is your hope!

It’s time to go to work- put on the armor of God & stand firm!

Traumas cause triggers which can then cause destructive reactions, but when we get healing through the power of the Holy Spirit & Jesus Christ, we can be transformed & find freedom! Then we can begin living the life He has planned for us!

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:30

YOU ARE NOT A DISASTER! You are not too broken for God to repair - so let go & let God work!

You are a Child of God;therefore, you have the strength to overcome even the messiest of minds! You are not a failure just because you failed - so pick yourself up - put your praise music on & press past all the punishing thoughts trying to send you plummeting into the pit! Keep climbing - never give up! Seek your Deliverer - your Daddy- Jesus has you in His loving hands.

You belong!

Sometimes it’s our worst days that bring out our best praise; therefore, do not give up! Breakthrough is coming - so keep praising His name.

Your name is no longer orphan - but is now Child of God.

Even when you don’t feel it- Jesus is always there; He will never leave you nor forsake you! He is a faithful Father! Trust in Him. He is for you & He loves you!

You are not forgotten nor forsaken - you are loved by your Heavenly Father.

Destructive thoughts are so dangerous- so dare to take the detour today with your Daddy. Get your thoughts on Him and His promises!

Where you see failure - your Father sees a future. He does not see a lost cause. He sees His child - His beloved child who He created and orchestrated plans for. So step forward in hope.

Stop self sabotaging God’s plan by continuously telling God who you are not - and REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE - A KING’S KID! God is God over all your life - the good, bad & ugly, the highs, lows & mundane….and He’s got it all under control. He can work with it all. He can create beauty from ashes. So praise God and be thankful for who you are - because He is thankful for you and for your heart after Him. He didn’t say the heart had to be pretty or perfect - just a heart that is passionately pursuing Him - ready to be used by Him.

Jesus loves you this I know!

Speak these words over your life! Your Daddy has not deserted you today. These promises prove that. Keep trusting & believing - keep following your Father! May his shield of love surround you & His peace fill you.

God has equipped you for the battle! He has created you - knit you together - and did it with the knowledge of all your days - all you were going to face. So you’ve got this!

I release all my darkness & doubts & distrust. I release all my hurt & heartache. I release all my rage and weakness. I step into Your light Lord! The blind painting (shown in cover art) was done to the song “Awake My Soul” by Hillsong Worship; hence the A, I was trying to write the lyrics as I was painting. So earlier in the day the A would have stood for anger…but it didn’t have to stay that way- got my praise on & allowed God to still the unsettled feelings & bring peace. I pray the same for you today!

When the battle is raging all around and/or within- make it a priority to diligently seek your Heavenly Daddy’s promises - to face the battle with facts! Make it a priority to diligently pray & keep praise on your lips.

It’s a new day - I pray you have a new song in your heart today. Not an 80s rock ballad of broken hearts and pain - although I love my 80s music, but a song of praise and thankfulness because you are trusting in God’s plan for your story.

Happy Valentine’s Day- YOU ARE LOVED! And you have a defender of your heart - your Heavenly Daddy has your heart in His hands.

You know when a pastor has to preach the same sermon for a couple different services and they are mostly the same, but may have a few changes…well this is sort of like that…but sadly only because of my own doubt and discouragement. I kept getting frustrated and trying again; worried that my endless rambling and annoying repeating of words was not allowing the message to clearly come through. But then I remembered why I’m doing this…I just want to be real & relatable, I just want share the love letters I feel like my Daddy has shared with me - so that we all may know how loved we are & so that we are encouraged to press on in hope and trust- knowing God’s got our story in His hands! So I decided to go ahead and share all 3 tries, only because the little differences may be what different listeners need to hear. Happy Valentine’s Day - you are loved!

You are not alone! (Cue MJ song - when that fist came out many decades ago, I had it on replay!) When another Valentine’s Day comes and goes without the hope of love in site…I want to remind you to seek your Savior as your first love and let the rest fall into place. We pray for the knight in shining armor, for the handsome prince to sweep us off our feet & capture our heart, but we already have a King that went to a cross for us and our heart. You are already loved that much! I know the heartache of being single & it flat out sucks! But I also have begun to get a glimpse of the depth of loved felt for me by Jesus…and it brings peace in the pain of broken promises, of problematic past, of pitfalls of passion - all settled by true love - Godly love! He’s got you today - and He’s also got your love story in His very capable hands. So trust your Daddy - He does know best.

Glitter + Glue = FUN! It equals Frozen Glitter Slime! (With a few other ingredients) Today, with my students, we tried to make this glitter slime….and you know what - I’m not a fan of spoiler alerts- so you’re just going to have to listen and find out what happened. 🤣 The song in this podcast that I referenced, but went blank on name/artist was Champion by Bethel Music & Dante Bowe

Jesus delights in you! He loves you. He created you the way He wanted to. If you have a case of mistaken identity and you are struggling with who you are - take time to hear the truth - dig in God’s word & see things from His powerful point of view. I’m actually teaching point of view in class this week & today we read the book Alphie - love this book, it is so precious! But in this story, the girl and the turtle saw things from a completely different point of view. It’s so sad that so many of us struggle with intense insecurity - when we should see ourselves the way God sees us. That’s my prayer for us today!

Stop focusing on all that is wrong with you & the world and focus on the Father! Focus on the positive, His promises & the path that He has for you; keep your perspective in check.

Sharing some of my words from past darker days, I’m hoping that - praying that, if you can relate, that you will lift your head up & hear the beautiful words my Heavenly Daddy shared with me to pull me past the pits of despair and that you believe these words are for you too! I pray that hope is restored to you tonight! Right now you can rest in the loving arms of Jesus who is ready to rescue you! Call on Him! Then begin to live life to the fullest - confidently walking out His plan for you. You’ve got this - because Jesus has got you!

Stop looking at the fires around you and look at the fire within you that your Father has given you! Songs going through my head in my own mesh up- “Set a fire down in soul that I can’t contain that I can’t control - I want more of you God, I want more of you God - cuz not for a minute was I forsaken - the Lord is in this place- the Lord is in this place! Come Holy Spirit dry bones awaken - the Lord is in this place, the Lord is in this place - so set a fire down in my bones that I can’t contain that I can’t control. I want more of you God - I want more of you God!”

I published this one - then messed up & accidentally deleted it, but then find in library! So sharing again! Moral of that - mistakes are made - but don’t give up! Problem solve & press on! I hope this podcast reminds you that God is for you! Jesus is with you & cheering you on!
