The Hallowed Dead - St. Carlo Acutis

Send us Fan MailWelcome to The Hallowed Dead, a new local show, written and produced by our host, Kevin Sullivan! The Hallowed Dead is an anthology of the lives of the saints. We can all draw wisdom, courage, and inspiration from the lives of people who surrendered everything to God. These men and women embraced sacrifice, endured suffering, and lived with a clarity that comes only from knowing Christ is King. Their stories challenge us. They invite us to look inward, to measure our own lives against eternity, and to remember that everything this world has to offer is nothing compared to the kingdom of heaven."We usually have to travel far back in time to meet our saints, but Saint Carlo Acutis feels like a neighbor. There's no historical digging required here. He lived in our modern cities, used our technology, and faced the same world we see outside our windows today. Our story opens on a sunny day in Milan in the mid-1990s. The city is a blur of high fashion, revving Vespas and the frantic pace of Italian businesses. Amidst this, a four-year-old boy with a mop of curly dark hair and bright, inquisitive eyes is tugging at his mother's sleeve. He isn't pulling her toward a toy store or gelato stand, he's pulling her toward the heavy carved wooden doors of a neighborhood church."Listen Online at divinemercyradio.org/listenOrDownload our app from your app store - Search DivineMercyRadioNChttps://divinemercyradio.org

Vamos a viajar Egipto, Vietnam, India y Portugal.

Knights Armor: Love Others As I Have Loved You

Send us Fan MailJoin Keith, Will, Dana, David and George for another engaging episode of Knights Armor! This month the Knights will discuss a central question for us: what does God expect of a Catholic man? God calls all of us to seek him, to know him, and to love him with all of our strength, as we learned in catechism. In the New Testament, Jesus gives all of his children a new and maybe highest commandment. that you love one another even as I have loved you. But as men, where do we go from there?Suit up and join the conversation—let’s strengthen our armor together. To Listen Online visit divinemercyradio.org/listenOrDownload our app from your app store - Search DivineMercyRadioNChttps://divinemercyradio.org

The camp siren had split the morning air before dawn had fully broken, and thousands of prisoners stumbled from their barracks into the muddy courtyard. They stood in rigid formation, silent, hollow-eyed, starving. The night before, a prisoner had escaped, and under Nazi policy, that meant one thing. Ten men would die in his place. From within the ranks, from among thousands who knew that stepping out of line meant instant death, one man quietly removed his cap. He stepped forward, not in a panic or desperation, but with calm.

The Hallowed Dead - Our Lady of Fatima

Send us Fan MailWelcome to The Hallowed Dead, a brand-new local show, written and produced by our newest host, Kevin Sullivan! They invite us to look inward, to measure our own lives against eternity, and to remember that everything this world has to offer is nothing compared to the kingdom of heaven. In this second episode, Kevin recounts the story of Fatima. The story about three simple children, Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto and the venerable sister Lucia dos Santos, is extraordinary, to say the least. To have an encounter with an angel alone is astonishing. To be entrusted with the message from the Holy Mother herself is beyond comprehension. What was it like to be the poor, faithful children at the turn of the last century, suddenly entrusted with heaven's messages?Listen Online at divinemercyradio.org/listenOrDownload our app from your app store - Search DivineMercyRadioNChttps://divinemercyradio.org
