In a world broken by sin and heading toward God’s final judgment, how are we to live? Micah 7 teaches that God’s people should weep over the destructiveness of sin, wait with hope for his salvation, and worship him for his astounding mercy, while those who are not yet his people must turn to him before it is too late. Merry Christmas! Christmas, from Christ-mass, marks the arrival of Jesus the Christ, the God-Man, who came to seek and save the lost (Lk 19:10). While the stories surrounding his arrival are commonplace, He is not common. There is no one like him, which is why the Apostle Paul described his own ministry as one of proclaiming the “unsearchable riches of Christ” (Eph 3:8).
