  1. 4

Ep. 4 - The Three Promises

In this episode, I make three promises to myself and along the way, I recount how one of my friends inspired me to enjoy exercise, how I went to college because that’s what was expected of me (not because I actually wanted to go), how, during my year of college, my ceramics professor taught me an important life lesson, how I allowed Sandra Oh to convinced me I wanted to be a doctor, and learning to put my Mind-Body-Spirit Complex first.

  2. 3

Ep. 3 - Exploring My Triggers

On this episode, I read a list of “trigger words” and I say whether or not they would trigger me and why. I talk about my first and only fist fight to date and touch on how Duolingo jipped me out of almost $80, among other things.

  3. 2

Ep. 2 - The Five Pillars of Privilege

In this episode, I answer the question, “In what ways are you privileged?” by thinking through the ways I was more fortunate than others in my life, which are my “pillars of privilege”. I speak on everything from growing up in a 2 parent household up until 7th grade, the opportunities that marching band afforded me, 2 highschool programs called The Baton Rouge Youth Coalition & Trio, attending Xavier University of Louisiana for a year, and my spirituality.

  4. 1

Ep. 1 - Exploring Repressed Vulnerability

Welcome! What was as a quick decision not to journal my first shadow work journey and, instead record myself talking about it, came to be my first podcast series. This episode answers the questions, “What emotion do you try I avoid? What makes me afraid to feel it? & What am I afraid will happen if I do?”. I reply with the reasons WHY I choose not to be vulnerable with certain people and get into a sort of venting session as I get used to talking and thinking out loud on the show.
