    Victim Of Road Rage

Road rage is an epidemic. The other day I was involved in a road rage incident in my neighborhood. I was driving in traffic and a hot head in a Porche came up from behind and started flashing his lights, honking his horn and yelling at me. His convertible top was down so everyone could hear him. He followed me into the super market while continuing to yell and honk his horn. He sped around me through the parking lot. As I was parking I noticed that he was waiting for me inside the sliding glass doors of the store. The rest of the story is in this episode.#roadrage #road rage #drivers with tempers #hothead driver

Sound Check - Samson Q2U dynamic usb/xlr microphone

I'm testing my Samson Q2U microphone in my studio without and with the window AC running. Is the background noise too annoying? This is recorded on a $300 laptop using the built-in sound recorder program without any voice processing. This is a really good mic for Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, virtual conferences, podcasts, YouTube videos, singers and bands.#samson #q2u #SoundCheck

How to dispose of hard drives and home electronics

A neighbor called and wanted help in disposing of their old computer and wanted the hard drive to be erased securely. I called around or town and this is what I found. Best Buy and Staples have programs in place and Shred360 accepts residential drives if you go to their offices. Here are links to Staples and Best Buy's recycling programs as of 5-19-2026https://www.staples.com/Mail-In-Recycling-Services/cat_CL354593https://www.bestbuy.com/site/services/recycling/pcmcat149900050025.c?id=pcmcat149900050025

Buying a hospital bed - Hospital bed for sale (or free)

This is my experience purchasing a hospital bed for my mother after she graduated from rehab after a hospital stay. She moved into an assisted living facility and only had one large room so decorating it was a challenge. We purchase a hospital bed thinking it was the safer option, but quickly realized that it was a mistake for her.#hospital bed#hospitalbed#retirement#AssistedLiving#a bed for mom #aBedForMom

Why You Need To Learn To Use Tech As You Age

Hey, y'all! I'm Trez. I thought I would start the conversation about why it is so important to learn how to use at least some technology as we age. Based on my personal and professional experience, seniors who had a little bit of comfort with technology seem to be able to adjust to newer technologies as they get oldere. If they strugled with just the basics then they either refused to use things that are too complicated. If you or your loved one(s) decide to keep on learning just a little about the tech and gadgets that are by default in their lives, the next thing they will be bragging on how they learned to do this and that.If you have found this video/podcast please share it with your parents or a older family friend. You never know, it may have a positive impact on their lives.I have a website/blogsite that has articles and links to help with learning how to use technolgy as we age as well as tips for aging in place.www.trezblencowe.comI also have a video/podcase channel called "Trez's Tech" that covers how to’s and how to use tech.youtube.com/@trezstechCheck out my website www.trezstech.comListen on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcast, iHeart and all major podcast platforms.Soundtracks:Courtesy www.epidemicsound.comFor My Good / AFTRWanna Be (Not Me) / Loving Caliber#learningtech #nottooold#AgingInPlace#retirement
