Pastor Paul started a new series this week, "Faith of our Fathers," to coincide with the 250th anniversary of America. For 8 weeks he will be preaching sermons from the Great Awakening and the Revolutionary Era. In this sermon he expounded on the history leading up to the Revolutionary War and how clergy and biblical truths set the foundation for a new country being formed.

This week was our annual Compassion Sunday. Pastor Steve Lortz preached out of Luke 10 and taught how the religious leaders had a different interpretation of scripture than Jesus did. What does it mean to have compassion? To whom should we show compassion? Is our faith in what we say or what we do? He challenged us to think about how we interpret scripture - is it more like Jesus or the religious leaders?

On Easter Sunday, Pastor Paul taught about what the resurrection means for the old covenant, new covenant and future.

In this sermon, Pastor Paul shares why we are unable to attain Heaven without the shed blood of Christ. What is it about our human nature that prevents this? How does scripture characterize us without Christ?
