Everything I Learned in 3 Months of Podcasting
Starting a podcast was no easy task.... At first I thought it was as simple as "I just talk to people". Yeah, I was wrong about that. It's lighting, guest prep, booking, editing and then also having a good conversation. I have learned a lot over my first 10 episodes and so I want to take a moment to recap everything that I have learned up to this point. This episodes covers lessons that I have taken from the amazing guests I have interviewed up to this point. Engineers, musicians, athletes, and AI experts. I take something from each and every guest and so I wanted to share that with you.I am thinking I will also throw together a pt. 2, where I break down the technicals of podcasting that I have learned so far. Drop a comment or shoot me a DM on instagram if that would be helpful for you! This is a massive learning process and I am learning as I go, but I am growing every episode!*** Also hi I'm Alex and I am a chemical engineer who is obsessed with building a maximized life. If you set big goals, you are going to experience massive failure. Simply put, that is the cycle of growth. Set a big goal, strive to achieve, fail, learn and iterate, try again, and eventually... accomplish the goal. Chances are, your problems don't lie in setting the goals, but instead, with holding yourself accountable and reframing that failure to a positive. I talk about both in this video.Engineer My Future Podcast Episode #009*** Also hi I'm Alex and I am a chemical engineer who is obsessed with building a maximized life.
