Gonna B Alright [Bandcamp Digital-Only Release]
there have been periods in my life where I felt the need to push myself towards new boundaries, nothing necessarily experimental, but something very different from my usual approach. the last lockdown period we experienced in Italy, from March to May, coincided with one of these periods. maybe the lack of live performances, perhaps the fact that I was, and I am still, missing a physical contact with my audience and the dance floor as well, led me to make musical choices that privileged the emotional side instead of the groove and, didn’t disdain pop influences somehow. 'Gonna B Alright', the track that I introduce you today, was made in April 2020 and fully represents the mood of that period. I can't deny that I enjoyed composing it, so much that I ‘tried my hand’ at using my own voice passed through the vocoder ☺️ the idea grew up after playing a simple pad chords sequence, to which I only paired the kick drum pattern at first, almost as to emulate the heartbeat. but soon after I could not resist creating a bass line, which has involuntarily turned the song into something with a wider listening spectrum. I don't think ‘Gonna B Alright’ will ever be released on vinyl so, I thought I'd share it on my Bandcamp, hoping you like it and can enjoy it outside of the context where my music is usually relegated to. here’s the link to the track: enricomantini.bandcamp.com/track/gonna-b-alright the artwork for this release has been kindly provided by my son Manuel 🤓

I Want More (1995 Unreleased)
here’s another finding I wanna share with you here ! it's been a free download during first Italy's lockdown in last March but limited to the lucky 100 early birds... mostly because of my Soundcloud account limitations. this was a new track I was working on with X Woman by the end of 1995, and it had to be a follow up to ‘What U Want’. it never got finished so what you have here is mostly a rough demo which I never pretended to get released nor ever offered it to any label. hope you enjoy it my friends !

Get Some More (FREE X-Mas 2018 DOWNLOAD)
This is a track idea I wrote and recorded back in 2012. It was 'silently resting' on my hard drive, cause never released yet but, feeling it so much and in love with (kind of 'never enough' each time I listen to it) that I have decided to offer it for FREE as my CHRISTMAS GIFT to ALL my Soundcloud and Bandcamp followers. 100 Downloads available here on Soundcloud ! after that you can still download it for free via my Bandcamp page, where also hi-quality .WAV file download is available: https://enricomantini.bandcamp.com Here some technical hints about this track: This tune is basically an idea I was working on my MPC. I made it exclusively using the MPC1000, then passing it through Bellari RP583 compressor and recording straight into the Akai 4000DS tape machine. The groove is house, the sound is warm as expected. Hope You ALL enjoy it ! LONG LIVE THE DEEP.

Private Collection
4lux is proud to serve you the sounds of Italian deep house pioneer Enrico Mantini. This twelve cleverly combines two of Mantini's most sought-after classics together with two brand new offerings. All trax come in the old school deep house vibe. I'll Be There was originally released on the Ultimate Result EP on Italian cult label UMM back in 1993 and has been a fave deep house tune of 4lux head honcho Gerd ever since. The same goes for What You Like actually. This is a truly uncompliacted deep house tune released on Mantini's very own Smooth Sounds in 1992. Now 20 years later these trax still are as actual as they were back then. The two new track that Enrico recorded for this EP complement the release in a nice way indeed. Don't Make is a loose track with warm chords, organ stabs and nicely shuffled beats. Last but not least comes U Deep Me, a fantastic hypnotic bomb that sounds fantastic on any club system. Side A I'LL BE THERE (1993 Original Mix) * (Mantini - Fioritoni) Universal Music Publishing DON'T MAKE (2012 Unreleased) ** (Mantini) SIAE Copyright Control * Written and produced by Enrico Mantini and Marco Fioritoni for UMM. ** Written and produced by Enrico Mantini for Enrico Mantini Productions. Side B WHAT YOU LIKE (1992 Original Mix) * (Mantini - Fioritoni) Universal Music Publishing U DEEP ME (2012 Unreleased) ** (Mantini) SIAE Copyright Control * Written and produced by Enrico Mantini and Marco Fioritoni for Smoothsound Productions. ** Written and produced by Enrico Mantini for Enrico Mantini Productions. Dedicated to all the guys who still love the true house sound in particular the man himself Gerd, dj Zip @ Perlon, William Rosario, Fabio Monesi, Patrick Luca, Davidson Ospina, Hector Romero, Dsastro aka Marco Fioritoni, Angelo Tardio (the real Man behind the UMM project), Sam aka Brawther and Jeremy @ MLIU, YouTube users Thumbzo and innerSpace1991 for their contribution. Stay true to the Vibe.

It's All Right (Enrico Mantini 2001 Remix) [EM 0301]
something I did for fun back in 2001 and that got released on a single sided white label vinyl... now that I find here on SoundCloud many unofficial remixes, I can post mine and tell the truth... yeah, there was me behind it 🤓
