Lord, you are not distant in the clouds. Lord, you are here. Your kingdom is at hand Lord. I just pray for the moms that are listening to this that want to incorporate practices into their life but they are feeling overwhelmed. I just ask that you would meet them right where they are with your grace and compassion. There is a verse in Isaiah that says he gently leads those with young. And so I would just encourage those moms to know you are gently leading us. You are a good shepherd who brings us into your fold and you gently leading us. You have tenderness, compassion, and mercy toward us, and you want us to be in fellowship with you. God I just ask that you would give us a heart that longs to know you and seek you. When we come to pray and don't know what to pray that you would give us the words, Lord. And when we are seeking rest but we feel so busy and distracted that you would quiet our minds and our hearts to sit with you long enough to receive the rest you are giving us. Thank you, Lord, for your goodness to us. It's in Jesus' name that we pray, amen.     Discover more Christian podcasts at lifeaudio.com and inquire about advertising opportunities at lifeaudio.com/contact-us.

Filling Up & Pouring Out - Summer Book Club Conversations with Shalene Roberts

    A Prayer for Leadership

Yet, teach me to turn to You first, to speak with truth in love, and let my home be a place where praying for our leaders is not just something we say, but something we live. But Psalm 23 gives me so much comfort as a praying mom: even when they walk through the valley, they are never alone. God is right there with them — his rod, his staff, his presence.
