06/14/2026 – Sojourner Bible Study – Brian Irby – After announcing Jerusalem’s coming judgment in chapters 2–3, Isaiah turns our eyes to the hope that lies beyond it: the future reign of the Branch of Yahweh, Jesus Christ. In this remarkable glimpse of the Millennial Kingdom, Isaiah reveals God’s faithfulness to His covenant promises through the redemption of Israel’s remnant, the purification of His people, the restoration of creation, and the return of His glorious presence to dwell among them forever.

06/07/2026 – Sojourner Bible Study – Brian Irby – In Isaiah 3, Yahweh announces His coming judgment upon Jerusalem and Judah by removing their leaders, stability, and prosperity because of their pride, rebellion, injustice, and covenant unfaithfulness. Yet even amid this sobering warning, the chapter reminds us that God is perfectly just, distinguishes between the righteous and the wicked, and prepares the way for the hope of restoration that will be revealed in Isaiah 4.

05/31/2026 – Sojourners Bible Study – Brian Irby – In Isaiah 2:5–22 we see both the near and future fulfillment of the Day of Yahweh: God’s judgment upon Judah and Israel for forsaking Yahweh and violating the Mosaic Covenant, and the future worldwide judgment that will humble all human pride, idolatry, and rebellion. Isaiah warns that every false source of security, (wealth, military power, human wisdom, and idols) will ultimately collapse before the splendor and majesty of Yahweh. In the end, Yahweh alone will be exalted, and the only true refuge will be found in the coming King, Jesus Christ.

05/17/2026 – Sojourners Bible Study – This lesson on Isaiah 2:1–4 explores the future Messianic Kingdom where Jesus Christ will reign from Jerusalem in perfect righteousness, justice, and peace over all the nations of the earth. Isaiah reveals that the nations will joyfully come to Zion to learn God’s truth, submit to the Messiah’s rule, and experience the lasting peace that only Christ can bring.  

05/10/2026 – Sojourners Bible Study – Mike Payne – James concludes Chapter 4 addressing issues regarding slander, judging others, and arrogant boasting.

05/03/2026 – Sojourners Bible Study – Mike Payne – James continues his pastoring calling out both believers and unbelievers regarding their conduct.

04/26/2026 – Sojourner Bible Study – Mike Payne – James identifies attitudes and behaviors that do not reflect the glory of Christ or Christian character.

04/12/2926 – Sojourner Bible Study – Brian Irby – Isaiah 1:10–20 exposes the deadly deception of hypocritical worship, showing that outward religious activity without true repentance is rejected by God, no matter how faithful it appears. Yet in His mercy, God calls His people to genuine transformation and offers full cleansing by grace, setting before them a clear choice: obedience that leads to blessing, or rebellion that leads to judgment.

03/29/2026 – Sojourner Bible Study – Brian Irby – Isaiah 1:1–9 calls Judah to remember that their suffering is not random, but the exact fulfillment of Yahweh’s covenant word spoken through Moses, revealing that their rebellion has brought the promised curses. Yet even in judgment, the preservation of a remnant proves that God remains perfectly faithful to His promises to judge, to preserve, and ultimately to save the people of Israel.

03/22/2026 – Sojourners Bible Study – Brian Irby – We examine the historical biblical accounts from 2 Kings 14–21 & 2 Chronicles 26–33 to get a better understanding of the context in which Isaiah prophesied.  Isaiah was sent to call God’s people to trust Yahweh instead of wealth, military strength, foreign alliances, or empty religion.
