The Communion Service, what is it all about

Studies are showing that In today’s heightened political and social hostilities people’s overall wellness is declining. The over-exposure to shocking news is contributing to high blood pressure, panic attacks and increased anxiety. So today I’m taking time to say that we must prioritize caring for our physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.

Dr. King emphasizes that faith is a call to action. It is not enough in our human capacity, in relation to God, for us to simply pray for a miraculous resolution to the injustices that plague our world; rather, we are urged to engage in the work of bringing healing to the challenges of our communities.
