    54. How Intention Shapes Impact

We often assume that if we prepare well enough, we’ll land well. But many of us have experienced the opposite—showing up ready, articulate, and informed… and still not quite connecting. In this episode, I explore why that is.We look at the role of intention—how our unconscious drive to be impressive can quietly undermine our impact—and what becomes possible when we shift towards being useful and acting in alignment with who we really are.

  2. 39

In Truth and Authority: Truth, Authority and a few final thoughts

In this season wrap-up, I look back at the conversations we’ve had about truth, integrity, confidence, and leadership. The thread connecting them all is simple: authority grows when we stay close to the truth — in how we think, how we work, and how we show up in difficult moments.

  3. 38

In Truth and Authority Episode 5: Authority in difficult conversations

When the energy in the room shifts, most leaders react. This episode is about responding instead. We explore why authority is embodied, how over-functioning drains strategic clarity, and why the less you chase approval, the more credible you become. If you’ve ever left a difficult conversation replaying it in your head, this is an invitation to lead with composure — and to build confidence the only way it truly forms: through self-governance.

  4. 37

In Truth and Authority Episode 4: When it's hard to pause (and what to do if you forget to)

Many capable women live with a quiet undercurrent of pressure. It sounds like responsibility. It feels like commitment. Over time, it becomes normal. But what if the very voice urging you to power through is the one that most needs to be questioned? In this episode, I explore why it can feel so difficult to pause — especially for high-performing leaders — and why that pause may be one of the most powerful skills you can cultivate. We look at how urgency masquerades as importance, how subtle self-accusation shapes decision-making, and why what you repeatedly listen to becomes the background tone of your leadership.I also share practical ways to interrupt pressure and turn toward clarity — choosing peace over reactivity without lowering your standards. This is a conversation about internal governance, discernment, and learning to lead from steadiness rather than strain.

  5. 36

In Truth and Authority Episode 3: Before you believe that voice

Not every internal voice is telling you the truth. Some sound responsible, urgent, even virtuous — but leave you feeling tight, pressured, and smaller than you were before. In this episode, I explore discernment: how to recognise the difference between a voice that leads to love, clarity, and freedom, and one that produces accusation, urgency, and confusion. We look at the subtle ways untested thoughts shape our behaviour, why “contempt prior to investigation” keeps us stuck, and how to pause before automatically cooperating with the internal narrative.I also share my own lived experience of learning to turn toward God for guidance — and how the quiet, simple whispers of Higher Power consistently clear the clouds of pressure without adding more strain. Before you believe the voice, investigate it.Notice what it produces. And choose the one that brings peace.

  6. 35

In Truth and Authority Episode 2: I don't cooperate with Lies

In this episode, we build on the theme of truth and authority by examining the quiet “sentences” that shape our behaviour. From frustration with others to navigating subtle workplace feedback, we explore how unexamined beliefs can distort our responses. Anchored in the question “What leads me closer to love, truth, and freedom?” this conversation offers a grounded and spiritually informed framework for leadership, discernment, and emotional steadiness.

  7. 34

In Truth and Authority Episode 1: Orientating to Truth

In this opening episode, we explore what truth really is — not something to perform or assert, but something to discern. A conversation about alignment, conditioning, and re-orienting your life around what is truly yours.

    46. How Ego sees it

If we’re not consciously asking, “How does God see this?”, chances are we’re unconsciously seeing it through the lens of ego—asking instead, “How does this make me look?” or “How does this make me feel?”In this episode of Fearless Conversations, we explore how ego quietly shapes our responses—at work, at home, and in our inner lives. From perfectionism and performance to subtle judgment and control, this is a compassionate invitation to shift the way we show up.God’s lens unifies. Ego separates. And the difference between the two is often the difference between tension and connection.

    45. How does God see this?

Have you ever wondered whether your Inner Critic is telling the truth? Or what it might mean to see yourself - and others - in a different light? In this episode, I share something very close and personal, namely the role of faith in the work I do. If you've ever felt drawn to something deeper, more peaceful or caught yourself in a moment of spiritual curiosity, this one is for you.

  11. 30

    44. What we forget about what we're paid to do

We all enter a value exchange when we go to work—but lately, many have started asking more of that exchange than it was ever meant to give. In this episode, I explore how the “whole self” movement has blurred boundaries, distorted expectations, and quietly shifted what we think work is for.

  12. 29

  20. 21

    35. What makes you question yourself?

Many things make us question ourselves but in today's episode I'm diving into one thing in particular that I see come up again and again which when understood becomes quite easy not to buy into. It's catching the energy that someone else is giving us and taking on their energy instead of relying on what we ourselves know to be true. This is a short one but I hope you will find this incredibly useful.

  21. 20

    34. Lessons learned from 'The Traitors'

Are you watching the Traitors? I am! And I'd love to share with you some things that have given me a lot to think about as I've been watching it all go down.

  22. 19

    33. How to experience a mindset shift about your Most Challenging Colleague

Tune in to hear an easy peasy tool for working with Imposter Syndrome.

  26. 15

    29. The Complete Sentence

The words we use to convey the beliefs we hold are incredibly formative. You, and me - everyone! - we take action based on the thoughts we think. And yet, we can go through whole lifetimes without challenging the thoughts we think and how we communicate them to ourselves and others. Join me in exploring this subject on today's episode,

  27. 14

    On World Mental Health Day

Listen in to this short episode to hear two thoughts I'd love to share with you on World Mental Health Day.

  31. 10

    25. Big Fat Lie

If you think this thought sometimes, or indeed often, you're invited to listen in to this episode and apply some alternative thinking to it. The thought is this: ‘I’m not as technically competent as others in my team are. My contribution isn’t as big here’. This thought is a lie. It correlates contribution with technical expertise which is inaccurate. Of course, technical expertise is incredibly important but standing alone, expertise is not the basis on which client's problems are solved. If you have yourself pegged as the less technical of your peers, this episode is an invitation to think about what your contribution in the round is, if not technical.

  32. 9

  33. 8

    23. Be a Better Imposter

It's all well and good saying, just be yourself and don't be untrue to who you really are. But who you really are is something that's constantly changing. And sometimes, stretching into the next version of yourself is exactly what the situation you're in requires you to do. Does that mean you're faking? Maybe. But maybe not. Tune in today to hear how to go about what you're doing in a way that won't leave you feeling fake or inauthentic and still allows you to grow.

  34. 7

    22. On being a Mummy Martyr

This is a story about motherhood and false beliefs about motherhood that I didn't buy into this week, although I could have. Listen in to hear more.

  35. 6

    21. Capable

We all want to feel more confident but sometimes confidence just isn't accessible. We can't get there. When Confidence is elusive, here's what to reach for instead - Capable. Join me in this episode to explore what this means and how it can help you this very week.

  36. 5

    20. Respect the Process

So often we say we aren't good at things that we simply haven't learned how to do. Being organised, managing time well...these are skills we need to develop by way of a process. In this episode, I'm talking about the process of becoming better at Time Management and what it actually requires. Enjoy!

  37. 4

    19. Let's talk about Imposter Syndrome

What is Imposter Syndrome, why do we have it and how to start moving away from feeling like an imposter to feeling more confidence and ease. That's in this episode!

  38. 3

    18. The Strongest Energy in the Room

What's going on when someone is annoyed with you for reasons that you don't think are reasonable, but - somehow, you end up taking on what they think, letting them be annoyed, maybe even apologising or compensating in another way to please them? Or when someone completely takes over a meeting, resulting in an outcome that you - and others there don't agree with - but weren't able to bring over in the meeting? Listen in to this podcast episode to understand what's unfolding when something like this happens. I want to introduce to the concept of - the 'Strongest Energy in the room'.

  39. 2

    17. A practical approach to being Mindful everyday.

Listen in to hear about where to start with being someone who keeps on top of what they're thinking and understanding how thoughts can influence your day. The practice I share here has really helped me stay present, focussed and intentional, this Summer and I hope it does the same for you.

  40. 1

    16. The patriarchal assumption that 'working is better'

Join me in this episode as we fearless explore the patriarchal belief system that says success in work outside the home, money, authority and access to decision makes makes someone 'superior'. And what does superior mean? What motivates our decisions with respect to career, opportunity and choice?

  41. 0

    15. Negotiation Energy

In this episode I'm sharing a client win that was obtained by going deep into her value system and lining up her behaviour with the sort of leader she wants to be, to show you what changes when we change how we're thinking about a situation.

  42. -1

    14. 'I work better under pressure'

Newsflash: You don't!! No one does.

  43. -2

    13. 4 Things to be intentional about this Summer

🎤 Skoooooool's (almost) out for Summer! Here are 4 things I'm thinking about ahead of this Summer kicking off and that I wanted to share with you this week in case you find them useful.

  44. -3

    12. Clean VS Dirty Pain (Mindset isn't positive thinking)

I so often see the concept of 'Mindset' being made synonymous with 'Positive thinking'. This is an error. The goal of Mindset Work is not to cleanse your mind of negative thoughts forever.   The goal is to notice negative thoughts as thoughts and THEN, decide how to think about them.  Empowered, conscious thinking as opposed to disempowered default thinking.  The difference is significant.

  45. -4

    11. Resistance

In this episode, I want to introduce you to the concept of Resistance. This is the name that the writer Steven Pressfield gives to that force surrounding any aspect of our growth or evolution which would have us procrasinate, stall out or play small. Understanding that this force is at work rather than that there is anything inherently impossible about you doing what it is you have set out to do, improve or evolve into is an awareness that will be extraordinarily helpful in moving past resistance and into taking the action you want to be taking.

  46. -5

    10. Conversation with Alice Martin: 'For exquisitely good reasons'

Meet Alice - Partner in Law, Mum of 9 year old twins and someone who practices walking her walk and talking her talk every single day. I think you're going to absolutely love this one.

  47. -6

    9. Intentionality

What does it mean to be intentional? How does our intention show up in the way we do things? Join me this week as I explore these questions in this show.

  48. -7

Off The Cuff: 'Aine, what is the number 1 reason you see people not get promoted?'

This is, far and away the number 1 reason I see people not be promoted.

  49. -8

    8. Deck Despair

Hey you! Do you have a deck to prepare that making you exhausted before you even started? Or a weekly jour fixe in your calendar that you are getting nothing out of. Listen in to this one.

  50. -9

    7. Stop second guessing

What does it mean to second guess ourselves? What does it look like and how does it feel? Why is it problematic? How do we start doing differently? Join me in this episode as I answer these questions and more.
