Happy Wednesday! We’re back with our summer series, and today we’re joined by someone very special to us, Hailee Huddleston.   If you know Ana and Hailee, you probably know them as a bit of a dynamic duo. They’ve served together in several ministries, including Valley Collective, which they started together. Hailee has also been a huge part of Finding Something Real behind the scenes, helping plan fundraisers, create awareness for the ministry, and support the podcast in so many ways.   In this episode, Hailee shares some of her favorite Finding Something Real episodes and reflects on why those conversations have meant so much to her. Then, we flip the script and talk about something we believe every Christian can grow in: being able to confidently defend their faith.   We talk about why we believe the resurrection happened, how we wrestle with the reality of suffering, and what it looks like to have meaningful conversations about our faith when we don’t have every answer. Sometimes the idea of defending what we believe can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to be an apologist to share why you believe in Jesus.   Our hope is that this conversation encourages you, takes away some of that pressure, and reminds you that you can have confidence in what you believe while still being willing to ask questions and keep learning.   We’re so grateful to have Hailee with us for this episode, and we hope you enjoy this week’s conversation!

Happy Wednesday!   We’re back with Part 2 of our conversation with Joshua Lewis!   If you joined us last week, you heard us dive into deliverance, spiritual warfare, and generational curses. If you haven't listened to Part 1 yet, we highly recommend starting there before jumping into this episode.   In Part 2, we continue the conversation by exploring the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We discuss prophecy—how to discern when a prophetic word is truly from God, what biblical prophecy should look like, and how to wisely test what we hear. Stephanie once identified as an atheist, and she shares the story of how her perspective shifted in a deeply personal way—moving from skepticism to a faith shaped not just by belief, but by joy, beauty, and delight.   Rather than focusing only on arguments or doctrine, Stephanie invites listeners into a different way of seeing: one where knowing God is not merely intellectual, but relational and transformative. Three of our co-host are joining us as well - Ana, Sarah, and Jeanine.    Suffering has been a topic our co-hosts this season are really interested in getting more answers on. Two of our co-host deal with chronic pain and other co-hosts that have someone in their life dealing with chronic suffering or someone who didn't get healed.    Allen has a powerful testimony! He shares his story of getting miraculously healed. He had an encounter with God that he could not deny that he was healed. However, within the last couple years, he started having health issues again.    Now, he’s left wrestling with those hard questions. “Did I actually get healed?” and “Does my suffering have any meaning?”    We are so grateful for his insight on suffering and choosing to honor God even when it’s painful.    This is one of our favorite episodes! Happy Wednesday!   We are back with another episode! This week we are joined with guest, Travis Monen. We are also joined with our co-host, Ana.    Travis is a friend of Janell's and shares the same love for apologetics as she does. He shares his testimony in this episode. He gave his life to Christ when he was 14 but completely left his faith when he got to college. He ran away from God for years until he fully surrendered his life back to God and came to the end of himself.   When he stopped running and surrendered the heaviness he felt from running all those years, he was met with God’s love and mercy.   He emphasizes the importance of repentance. Repentance is a gift God offers. It simply means turning from the direction you were going and running towards God instead.    If you’re tired of running away from God, all you have to do is turn. As well as our returning co-host, Sarah.   Fitting after Valentine's Day, we are talking about relationships. Tripp and Megan are married and have a huge heart for apologetics. They share their individual stories of coming to faith and how they met. Tripp and Megan talk about some of the challenges of navigating relationships in a Godly way. As well as some of the myths in Christian dating, such as, "Are they the one?" and "God said they were my spouse?"   About Tripp: Tripp Almon serves as the Outpost Coordinator and a speaker with Stand to Reason. He is from Newnan, Georgia (just south of Atlanta) and now lives in Colorado with his wife, Megan, and their kids. Tripp’s passion for educating students of all ages in the areas of Christian theology, worldview, and apologetics is driven in large part from growing up in a Christian home and then struggling profoundly with the tidal wave of cultural ideas that engulfed him as he entered a secular university. Thankfully, his experience taught him that Christianity not only stands in the marketplace of ideas — it soars.   Before joining Stand to Reason in 2025, Tripp, a former elite gymnast, coached gymnastics for more than two decades. He served as a pastor for 10 years and was the Director of the Summit Ministries Gap Year program for seven years. Tripp loves when he and his wife, Megan, get to speak and serve at events together.   About Megan: Megan Almon, a former University of Georgia gymnast, worked as an award-winning journalist until 2008, when she decided to pursue a career speaking and teaching about Christian apologetics — especially in the areas of pro-life apologetics, bioethics and aesthetics. She joined Life Training Institute in 2009 and was awarded an M.A. in Christian apologetics from Biola University in 2011. She worked with Scott Klusendorf at Life Training Institute until 2024 when she began working with the speaking team at Apologetics, Inc. In 2025, she started an exciting new chapter as a Stand to Reason speaker.   Megan and her husband, Tripp—Stand to Reason’s Outpost Coordinator—have been married since 2003 and have two children. Though she was born and raised in Georgia, she and Tripp family spent seven years in Manitou Springs, CO where Tripp ran the Summit Ministries Gap Year program. Megan enjoys spending time with her family on the road (when she and Tripp have opportunities to speak together) and at home in Colorado, and is still known to practice handstands in her living room. Happy Wednesday!   We are back with our guest, Alycia Wood! We had a great conversation with her last week and thrilled to have her back with our returning co-hosts, Sarah and Katelyn.    We discuss the evidence of Christianity. There's not necessarily a lack of evidence - there is plenty of reliable evidence out there. The problem is, it will never be enough.    The more we know, the more questions we have, and the more skeptical we become towards it all.   Katelyn shares some of the reasons why she would not put her faith in Christianity. Sarah, although she is a Christian, struggles with the thought of believing in the wrong thing.    About Alycia As a child growing up in the church, Alycia always had questions. She wanted to dig deeper into the Christian faith beyond the Sunday morning sermon. That fueled an independent search which led to her digging into the larger questions of life. While studying for a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology at Robert Wesleyan College, Alycia discovered Apologetics. It changed the course of her life. Her quest for a deeper understanding of her Christianity had a name.   She went on to get her Master’s in Social Justice from Marygrove College to further her passion for serving those in need in the developing world. This led to various volunteering opportunities at orphanages, prisons, and shelters for the homeless in various countries including Haiti, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. A few years after her travels were completed, she was able to spend a year studying Apologetics in England.   Alycia spent many years as a teacher’s aide and substitute teacher for multiple grade levels. Following, she has spent over nine years doing full-time apologetics ministry where she travels and speaks on various topics relevant to our culture. She is currently with the C. S. Happy Wednesday!   We are so excited for this week's episode! Today, we are sharing one of our co-host story, Ana!   Ana has been part of Finding Something Real since the very beginning. Janell and Ana met at a small group when she was a senior in High School in 2019. They've formed a beautiful friendship since then.   Ana was born and raised in Chelan, WA. She is currently the Social Media Manager for this Podcast and a co-host this season. She graduated from Northwest University and got her Bachelor's in Business Administration.   Ana is one of the founders of Valley Collective - a moment to unify the Churches in the Greater Chelan Valley. She's involved in many other ministries, including this one, using her gift and talents to build His Kingdom.    Ana loves the Lord with all her heart. It doesn't mean she hasn't gone through anything hard. Her dad had a stroke her sophomore year in High School. He was handicapped for four years until he passed away at the end of 2021. She shares her story about breaking a generational curse that was associated with to her dad's stroke.    She also opens up about her struggle with self-hatred and suicidal thoughts.   Ana's relationship with the Lord is so rich and so deep. Xandra opens up about hard parts of her story and brings light to difficult topics - suffering and free will. And why that keeps a lot of people from fully believing in Jesus. How could a good God allow suffering, abuse, and evil? That's one of the hardest questions, and one we won't know the complete answer to on this side of eternity.    But you can trust this - He's a God of Compassion. His heart was never for any of these things to happen. He became flesh and came down to be in the suffering with you. That's how much He loves you.   Rest in that truth today.   About Xandra: Xandra Grieme received a BS from Colorado State University and later studied at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics. Xandra continued her studies at Victoria University of Wellington where she completed a master’s degree in Conservation Biology. He was the founder and director of the M.A. Program in Christian Apologetics and Professor of Comparative Religion and Apologetics at Biola University in Southern California. He is a recipient of the Fischer Award, the highest faculty honor at Biola. Dr. Hazen is the editor of the philosophy journal, Philosophia Christi. He is the author of The Village Enlightenment in America and Five Sacred Crossings including numerous articles, book chapters and journals. He and his wife Jan have two grown children. At the age of sixteen as a junior in high school, he first heard the message of the Christian gospel and yielded his life to Christ. Dr. Craig pursued his undergraduate studies at Wheaton College (B.A. 1971) and graduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A. 1974; M.A. 1975), the University of Birmingham (England) (Ph.D. 1977), and the University of Munich (Germany) (D.Theol. 1984). From 1980-86 he taught Philosophy of Religion at Trinity, during which time he and Jan started their family. In 1987 they moved to Brussels, Belgium, where Dr. Craig pursued research at the University of Louvain until assuming his position at Talbot in 1994. He has authored or edited over thirty books, including The Kalam Cosmological Argument; Assessing the New Testament Evidence for the Historicity of the Resurrection of Jesus; Divine Foreknowledge and Human Freedom; Theism, Atheism and Big Bang Cosmology; and God, Time and Eternity, as well as over a hundred articles in professional journals of philosophy and theology, including The Journal of Philosophy, New Testament Studies, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, American Philosophical Quarterly, Philosophical Studies, Philosophy, and British Journal for Philosophy of Science. In 2016 Dr. Craig was named by The Best Schools as one of the fifty most influential living philosophers.
