Principles of Stewardship

Current faithfulness is worth the coming kingdom. Maintain faithfulness as you wait for the coming kingdom of God.

Jesus invites all to find rest in Him alone. In order to rest, we must find it in a relationship with Jesus.

Isaiah describes a renewed future for Judah once the LORD finishes his discipline. The Lord’s discipline produces fruit of repentance in our lives.

Judah did not need to fear Assyria, because the LORD had him on a leash. We do not need to lose faith in Christ, because He is always in control.

The LORD’s discipline against Israel serves as a warning to Judah about repentance. Heed the warning to repent before you endure His discipline.

The Messiah provides the only hope for sinful Israel. The only hope that sinners have is the Messiah; Jesus.

The LORD strengthens Isaiah resolve to stay faithful. We must look to the LORD for our spiritual resolve.

"God with us" anchors our soul in the midst of changing circumstances. We must stand firm on "God with us."

Those exiled to the world are to take the position of a missionary. We must view our life as missional.

King Ahaz turns the LORD’s patience into justice. Don’t to turn His patience to justice.

Anxiety is a sign of functional atheism. Faith in Jesus will alleviate anxiety and worry.

The Lord sends Isaiah to stabilize Ahaz by encouraging him to trust the LORD. Find stability by trusting Jesus.

The LORD calls Isaiah in accordance with His will. We submit to Jesus’ will when accepting His call.
