What is Messiah in scripture? Messiah with a capital "M" and a lowercase "m".

This is a series of episodes examining the critique of the 21st Century American Church by skeptics and critics of Western Christianity. I am attempting to frame a logical construct to understand the progression of American history to the emergence of Mainstream Christianity in 2023.

This episode is the summation of Junipero Serra. After 9 episodes, this summation is of the "Official Story" of history but I like to read between the lines and expose the sin to forgive the sin.   

Junipero Serra, the benevolent saint, and evangelist to lost Alta California pagan Indians, or the puppet of the Spanish crown and Catholic church doing the bidding or the catalyst to colonialism and or imperialism for a geopolitical race of land acquisition and natural resources? The results speak for themselves in mathematical fashion in death tolls and cruelty in the name of God. Uncovering the truth is necessary to dialog for forgiveness and the gross application of Biblical scripture outside of Godly love for self-serving gain.    

Expose the sin to forgive the sin. As a Christian Native American, the difficulties to deal with Christianity and the sad and controversial truths that are associated with the failed Spanish Catholic Church Alta California Missions system, faith, and forgiveness must play a large role in understanding the torn feeling and social results of the continuing stages of recovery California Indians. We cannot allow hatred to bind us from forward advancement.

Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo, encountering Natives of now modern-day San Diego Bay. This episode does light chronicling of Cabrillo and his journey from El Salvador. This episode is a stepping stone to the 1500s age of Spanish exploration and Alta California Natives.   

In this episode, I give facts and reasons for dialoguing secular and theological debate and thinking for Native American origins from the Judeo-Christian worldview and some secular scientific worldviews. Did Natives evolve and migrate to the North American continent or are we lesser people on the evolutionary ladder and gave way to racial devaluing? Is scientific theory a fact or just a convenient excuse for colonialism and imperialism? As a Christian Native American, I had to answer these questions for myself and when I did, I am still a devout Christian.
