It is no secret that motherhood can be exhausting, and it's easy to get into a rut of just doing what you have to do instead of enjoying the season you're in.  Krista, a mother of three little children, shares with us how God restored her joy in motherhood.

The second half of Joseph’s story reveals a powerful picture of God’s sovereignty, forgiveness, and redemption. For our first In The Word episode, we’re diving into the story of Joseph in Genesis. In this episode, we introduce the story, briefly revisit Jacob’s backstory, and walk through the first half of Joseph’s journey. From his dreams and betrayal by his brothers to his time in prison and interpreting the dreams of the baker and cupbearer. We understand that raising teenagers can feel like a daunting season. But Psalm 32:8 reminds us of this truth, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go, I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” We serve a God who goes before us, walks beside us, is near and is present to guide us in all seasons of life. He does not leave us alone in parenting. Join us as we talk through the ups and downs of Motherhood through the teenage years. Our hope is that this conversation leaves you feeling seen and full of hope with a deepened faith that the Lord will carry not only you, but your children as well!

Raising Godly teenagers can be difficult and trying, and trusting God with our children's futures is no easy task. Missy Lee, our Marriage and Family Pastor, shares the testimony of the restoration of her relationship with her daughter. She shares the good, bad, and ugly of raising teenagers, and how the Lord can be trusted and leaned on in the midst.
