In a world where everyone has an opinion on Jesus, what’s true or not, and how people should think about their lives, it’s important for Christians to be able to know whose opinion matters. In this episode, Pastor Alex continues the conversation on learning what voices we should give influence to in our lives. It’s not just a matter of knowing who to listen to but also a matter of learning how we can know who is good to listen to. We know as Christians that we should read scripture but what do we do when we come across something that confuses us? Or who can we look to in our faith to help us grow when there are so many options out there? In this episode Pastor Alex talks about the importance of knowing what resources we can trust and what we shouldn’t. By examining some guiding principles and beliefs, we can have a method of testing every resource we come across to know if they are in alignment with what our faith actually says or not. This episode will encourage and equip you with knowledge to partner with your beliefs so you can trust the right people and grow in your walk with Christ.

Growing Old (in Christ) — In this episode Pastor Alex is joined by Pastor Bill as they talk about what it looks like to become old in your faith, maturing into the believers God wants us to be. Spiritual maturity isn’t a matter of physical age but is connected to our relationship with the Lord and growth in Him; by engaging in humility, remaining teachable, and walking in the fruit of the Spirit, we are positioned to grow into the people God created us to be. This episode will encourage and inspire you to walk before the Lord in these ways and see the benefit in your life. Let me know if you want me to change the title haha I'm not great at coming up with those. That's the main thing we talked about though as it's about the last stage of discipleship - being a mature believer. 

How we become like Christ — In this episode Pastor Alex breaks down the different signs of a person that is truly growing in their faith. By asking the question, “where am I actually at in my faith,” we are able to personally analyze our own walk with God and see where we’re already growing and where we need to grow. While everyone’s faith journey is unique and different, there are typical signs of a person that is truly moving forward and growing in their faith. This episode will give you insight into being able to identify your progress in your walk with God, and encourage you to live a more dedicated life to the Lord.

"What's driving young discipleship — In this episode Pastor Alex is joined by Youth Pastor Braden Marsack as they talk about typical signs of believers that are young and growing in their faith journey. We cover the challenges and difficulties that young believers often encounter, but also the growth signs and development that is inspiring in this stage of discipleship. Regardless of age or life experience, a believer’s maturity is dependent on their discipleship walk with God, and by recognizing the fruit of your life, you can become aware of where you’re at in your walk with Him. This episode will encourage and challenge you in the philosophy of discipleship but also the practical hands-on aspects that are critical to growth in Christ."
