The Promise of Christ's Return
May 17, 2026: The Promise of Christ’s Return Countdown: “The Lord Will Provide” Call To Worship: “Firm Foundation (He Won’t)” Worship In Song: “Reckless Love” “Spirit Lead Me” Message: The Promise of Christ’s Return Speaker: Rev. Timothy Rice Key Verses: Acts 1:6-14 (ESV) Ask the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit. John 14:27 (ESV) Revelation 1:7-8 (ESV) 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 (ESV) Hope is in Jesus Christ and in heaven. If we are not careful we will become so distracted with His coming that we will be disobey His command to preach the gospel. Jesus’ coming should be something we look forward to and should be a reminder to us of what we should be doing right now. We should see to the command Jesus has for us. Focus on what God wants us to do. Let Him shake you and put you back on the right course. We sometimes need an interruption in our life to get back to where we should be in our walk with Christ. On Ascension day, the disciples got a little push from the angels to remind them to return to Jerusalem and pray for the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for God’s power and the power of the Holy Spirit. What is distracting you more than what God has for your life? Response in Song: “The Commission” (Message notes provided by FCC Media)

The Promise of God's Promise 2
May 10, 2026: The Promise of God’s Promise 2 Countdown: “Promises” Call To Worship: “He Has Made Me Glad/Look What the Lord Has Done” Worship In Song: “Holy Spirit Thou Art Welcome/ I Worship You Almighty God/ There Is None Like You” Message: The Promise of God’s Promise 2 Speaker: Rev. Timothy Rice Key Verse: Acts 1:1-8 (ESV) During the 40 day period after the resurrection of Jesus, he gave them proof, peace, purpose and power. Jesus’ purpose was to continue to share the kingdom with others. The disciples continued the purpose of Jesus. Jesus was telling the disciples in verse 7-8 that it was not for them to “know the times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority”, but their purpose was to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus took the time to open the disciples’ minds to explain the gospel to them as they would be the witnesses to the world. Find your purpose in Jesus and not from the world. Choose to focus on the good news of Jesus Christ rather than on the bad news of this world. Give your heart completely to the purpose of Jesus and his glory. Response in Song: “O Come To The Altar” (Message notes provided by FCC Media)

The Promise of God's Promise
May 3, 2026: The Promise of God’s Promise Countdown: “Come Jesus Come” Call To Worship: “Raise A Hallelujah” Words from the Word: (ESV)): Exodus 13:8-9 Worship In Song: “Egypt” “Endless Praise” Message: The Promise of God’s Promise Speaker: Rev. Timothy Rice Luke 24:36-43 (ESV) Jesus proved his resurrection. Acts 1:3 (ESV) It was essential for Jesus to prove his resurrection to his disciples and others through his physical body on multiple occasions. Nothing means anything without Jesus’ proof. Resurrection of Jesus Christ was a matter of first importance as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15. The first thing that followed the proof of Jesus’ resurrection was peace. Fear was the initial reaction of the resurrection. Matthew 17:6-7 (ESV) Mark 6:50 (ESV) John 20:19-23 (ESV) The presence of Jesus gave them peace instead of fear. Jesus Christ has defeated death. So we have nothing to fear. May God’s peace be with you no matter what you are going through. Jesus has overcome all of our fears and He has the power to save us from our enemies. Whatever is causing you to feel anxious or lost this morning, Jesus has overcome it. Allow God to give you peace. Romans 8:31-39 (ESV) The peace of God Jesus gave peace to us. The world did not give it to us and cannot take it away from us. John 14:27 (ESV) Isaiah 26:3 (ESV) Keep your heart and mind of Jesus, you will have perfect peace. Peace the surpasses understanding. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (ESV) Jesus gave the disciples the following during those days of his resurrection… Gave them proof. To have peace. Two different kinds of peace… Peace with God. Peace from God. Response in Song: “Here Again” (Message notes provided by FCC Media)

Alone & Afraid
March 15, 2026: Alone & Afraid Countdown: “Trust In God” Call To Worship: “Praise” Words from the Word: (ESV)): Matthew 19:13-15 Worship In Song: “I Speak Jesus” “It Is Well” Message: Alone & Afraid Speaker: Pastor Tim Rice Mark 6:45-52 (ESV) It’s okay to be uncertain about things when you are a Christian and it’s okay to be afraid at times of the outcomes. Highlight the word “immediately” in Mark 6:45 & 50. Jesus “made” his disciples get into the boat. Jesus is hurrying them along. There is never a time when God is not working in our life. He is working on his plan. He always has the next place or plan for you. He is at work urgently in your life, even when it does not feel like it. God asks us to wait when he is working in our life. We have to learn patience, sit still and listen. He will not let you linger/stay too long in a place in your life where you are not learning, growing, stretching, serving, and where he is not doing something in your life. God is going to get you through whatever you are going through this morning. God does not let us stay in a place too long so we can get out of our comfort zone. Life moves that way. When things go wrong, it does not mean you have done something wrong or that God is punishing you. He does some things for us to learn to trust in him. You can depend on God for all your needs. You can go to him with all of your problems and he can give you answers. You just have to listen with an open heart. 1 Peter 5:7 (ESV) The disciples went into the boat alone without Jesus. They did not have the one thing they felt safe with in the flesh. Then they were afraid when the storm came and they saw “a ghost” which was Jesus. They could not see him, but he could see the disciples. They were not alone even when they felt like they were. Jesus is invested in your success. Right now he is praying for you. Making intercession with us. Romans 8:31-39 (ESV) Response in Song: “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” (Message notes provided by FCC Media Team)

Timothy Rice - Mark 3:1-6 (ESV) - On the Sabbath, Jesus was in the synagogue. He was in the church. - Matthew 18:20 (NKJV) - “ For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. - Jesus is always where you are and He will meet you needs. - Jesus is drawn to those with needs. He does not avoid people with problems. He has a heart for the lost and hurting. - Stretch out your needs to Jesus. - You do not have to be a church member or give money for God to give you a miracle. We do not bargain for God’s blessings. We just have to know that He will heal us. - Do not try to fix things on your own and do not hold on to things that you need to give to God. - We may not give things to Jesus because of pride, shame, pain, or fear. - Instead of believing that Jesus could heal the man with the withered hand (Mark 3:1-6), the people in the synagogue watched and waited to see if something would or would not happen. - Do not be just a spectator, know God is in the room with you anywhere. - Matthew 18:19-20 (NKJV) Response in Song: “Great Are You Lord” (Message notes provided by FCC Media Team)

Why Do You Desire the Day of the Lord?
January 18, 2026: Why Do You Desire the Day of the Lord? Call To Worship: “What An Awesome God” Words from the Word: (NLT): Psalms 96:9:13 Worship In Song: “Here I Am To Worship” “What A God” Message: Why Do You Desire the Day of the Lord? Special Speaker: Pastor Kevin Peterson - Reference Scriptures….Amos 5:18-27 (ESV) - Amos was a prophet and taught others how they should seek the Lord and live. Even, if they did not want to listen. - Following Christ will cost you something in your life. - “For what good is the day of the Lord to you?” Amos 5:18 (NKJV) - You may escape a lion, but a bear will be right behind it. You cannot hide from the Day of the Lord. - Be careful what you want. You may not like what you actually want after you receive it. - Remember, God has emotions, too! Remember, God is faithful! - They were making all their offerings, music, and songs, but God was not having it. It was a bunch of noise to God. The reason He did not delight in this was because they were not genuine or sincere. They were hypocrites. (Amos 5:21-23 ESV). In the church assembly, they would worship Him, but outside the church (in the world) they were sinful all the time. Worshipping other gods, committing adultery, idolatry, etc. - God is saying - Israel, here is your day of the Lord. - He would send a nation against them because they refused to listen and repent to God. This was to help them realize what they were doing and missing out on without God with them. - This scripture should humble you as you think about your life outside the walls of the church. Take time to reflect and ask yourself if your committment to God is genuine. - Do not play games with your Christianity. The Day of the Lord is coming. Get yourself together and learn to love Jesus Christ completely and genuinely. - Call for the believer to get up out of their chairs and lead others to Jesus Christ. - Think about your life. Is God pleased with your life and with you as an individual? - Repent, Seek the Lord, and Live! Response in Song: “Gratitude” (Message notes provided by FCC Media Team)

Matthew 10:28 (ESV) Psalm 103:11-14 (ESV) Psalm 130:5-8 (ESV) Put your hope in God Long for Him At conversion of asking God into your life, you feel the love of God and you are a new person.
