The round table is once again joined by Senior Bible teacher and Bible department co-chair, Andrew Robinson. Andrew gives great insight into the doctrine of omnipotence and why it is an essential doctrine for believers to understand. He also discussed how God's Omnipotence gives hope for the Christian even as we live in a world that worships individualism and personal control (sovereignty).

To finish out the theology of beauty mini-series we are joined by Julie Cisneros (High school choir and worship teacher) and Madison Earl (Elementary music and Middle school worship teacher). We dive into the importance of worship, how it is a beautiful gift from the Lord, and how we have a responsibility to teach students what true biblical worship looks and sounds like.

Val Vista Art teacher, Meredith Vanni, joins the round table to discuss the theology of beauty and art. We discuss how art is a gift from God and a way that we can give him glory. God in his graciousness has given humanity a variety of different ways in which we can artistically honor him. We also spent time talking about some of the negative things people say to themselves when trying to create art, and the importance of perseverance when trying a new skill. 

Greenfield Bible teacher and Campus Pastor, Cory Emery, joins this episode of the podcast to discuss the theology of beauty. We examined the divine perfection of God's beauty and its impact on our understanding of creation, the incarnation, the cross, and restoration. Cory's insight helps set us up to continue to examine the theology of beauty in art and worship, which we will cover in future episodes.

This is an essential doctrine for Christians to understand because, if we falsely believe that God was created or had a beginning then He would not be the God of Scripture. In part two of our series on the Trinity we discuss the beauty and necessity of a solid biblical understanding of the Trinity. The Trinity is a key doctrine that separates us from other religions and Ethan gives us a clear understanding of the essential role trinitarian belief plays in our understanding of the Gospel.

In part one of our discussions on the Trinity we discuss the definition of the Trinity, the Scriptural support for the doctrine, as well as the difficulties and dangers of using analogies to explain the Trinity to young believers. In an age filled with overwhelming amounts of information, some may find it discouraging when we cannot exhaustively know all things about God. However, Dr. Mitchell helps us to understand the complexity and beauty of God's incomprehensibility. And while we cannot know him exhaustively, due to our finite minds, we can continue to grow in knowledge and love of the Lord.

In our current age we are seeing an issue of more and more people being biblically illiterate. People struggle to read their Bible consistently and yet when they do read it, many find themselves not knowing what the text means or how to interpret it correctly. Andrew helps guide us on how to faithfully interpret Scripture and what tools are at our disposal to stay true to the original meaning of the text.
