The Utah Legislative Session of 2026 has started with a roar. At the top of the list are two major bills by Representative Trevor Lee. HB183 prohibiting LGBTQ individuals from being with children in any kind of authoritative role for more than 5 minutes. Greatly prohibiting them from working with minors in any capacity. Then the next bill HB88 pulling back all incentives for illegal immigrants. Prohibiting them from having any access to WIC, Food Stamps, Medicaid or any and all other social benefits.
