God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

On the God, Scrubs, and Workboots podcast, we discuss how walking with Christ works in the real world. Due to lack of talent, all we have to offer up is authenticity and honesty. Be strengthened, and be encouraged; God, Scrubs, and Workboots is real folks, living real life, while serving a real Jesus.

Episode 31- Where is David? - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Some people are lost, and some just don’t know where they are going yet. This week’s show we answer a question that keeps coming up, Where has David been?  You know, the other guy who started the show with you way back in the first season?  He sings the theme song?  That guy? Well, it’s both a long and a short answer.  The short version is: God asked him to do it.  The long version involves standing there after God asks you to do something and you have to figure out what you are going to do next. And while David’s circumstances are not exactly the same as everyone else’s, if you walk with God long enough, you end up doing something that doesn’t make any sense to anyone else.  Jesus comes down and tells you to start something new, or end something great.  And often, from the outside, you look weird or foolish.  Especially to non believers.  And this is mostly what we talk about.  I’ve been there, David’s been there, and hopefully all of you have or will walk with God long enough and he will ask and you will answer His Call and look stupid. I hope you enjoy this episode.  It’s a little personal, in a good way.  As usual, please continue the excellent job of sharing the links for the shows and the blog posts.  That’s what the buttons are for.  Thanks. And even more so now, please continue to pray for us as we crank out this thing every week from scratch. Thanks, Cliff

Episode 30, Choosing Political Evils - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

It’s another show about politics this week! I will endeavor not to do too many shows like this, but I have questions and concerns about our current political environment.  Not just as a Christian, but also as an American. The concern that I had bopping around in my brain this time around is this:   Everyone says we just have to choose between the lesser of two evils.  Ok, But doesn’t that mean we are choosing evil either way?  And why is that OK?  Is it biblical? So to help answer that question, I grabbed my brother Clay and my old friend John Burke to discuss it.  They are both on opposite ends of the spectrum politically, so I figure we could have a nice little chat, end up somewhere in the middle and all sing KumBaYah. That’s not exactly what happened. At least we kept it civil.  Mostly. Let me know what you guys think about it. If you liked this episode, use the buttons on the sidebar there to tell all your friends!! If you hated this episode, use the buttons on the sidebar there to tell all your friends!! Episode 29- Noah Explains Easter - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

It's Episode 29, Where Noah, my beloved son in whom I am well pleased, completely explains the Mystery of Easter.  OK, maybe not completely.  But he does pretty good for a 6 year old. It's a super short episode, and trying to get a 6 year old on a Saturday morning to hold still and talk directly into the microphone is a bit of a challenge, so the audio levels are sometimes less than perfect. But we enjoyed making it, and that part shines through anyway.   Hope you guys enjoy it.   Cliff & Noah   PS Check out our Sponsors, The Revival Outfitters.   The post Episode 29- Noah Explains Easter appeared first on God, Scrubs, and Workboots.

Episode 28, Not enough faith to be an atheist - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

I don't Have enough Faith to be an Atheist. I've said that numerous times.  I have thought about it, played around with the concepts and really well laid out arguments for an Atheistic world view.  I can't handle the leaps in logic and sheer blind faith required to ignore so much of the world. Of course, that's just what an atheist would say to me about my faith. And while I do have plans for a show devoted 100% to atheism, it's not the main topic of this week's episode. To be honest, I'm not 100% sure what the main topic of this week's show is. I had planned to call it Tales Of Christianity, with Lance Carter.  Or Lance's Progress.  Or The Testimony of Lance Carter.  Or a bunch of other witty stuff. (In the end, I went for a ClickBait title.  Don't judge me) This episode does not follow the "normal rules" of conducting an interview.  We barely mention where he's from, what he does, practically no well defined narrative at all. What this is, is a rolicking fun fire hose style conversation. Topics include: If you match the blueprint, you're right Matthew 6:30-33 Smoking, Drinking, Cussing Churches  John 3, Darkness v. Light Country Western Station Churches The road to Emmaus Fellowship vs Church oh, yeah, and Atheism If you are diggin Lance, head on over to his website, http://www.czyfox.com/ I would also appreciate it if you headed over to our sponsor's page, Revival Outfitters.  More on them in future episodes. And if I could ask one more favor, please spread the word about us.  Please share the Links on FaceBook, instagram, heck even Google+.  We're not too proud.  I've started snapchatting rather than tweeting.  My particular brand of narcissism seems more compatible with SnapChat than Twitter.   A branding expert would probably say I need to stick to one handle across all media, but I'm not about to start doing things correctly now. Episode 27 Lent: The good, the bad, and the ugly - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Episode 27, Lent: the good, the bad and the ugly! I thought about calling this episode, All About Lent.  But then I realized that not only was kind of a boring title, but also a horribly misleading one.  If you want a complete history of lent, check wikipedia.  (Don't forget to donate)   Rather, this episode is more about me working out my feelings about the "holiday."  I confess to being youthfully dismissive of it earlier in my life.  Just another case of The Catholic Church stepping on your throat, preaching the idea that God Hates Your Good Times. But in the last few years, I've had a change of heart.  Sort of.  Mostly.  Obviously I was conflicted about it.  So I called my friend Jeff.  You remember him, he's been on the podcast before, talking about Prayer and Thanksgiving. We give a brief history, and then dive into some of the problems of institutionalized legalism, the hedonism associated with Lent, and the positive benefits that can come daily discipline.  (I wrote a little bit about that here.  Not my best work, but I'm learning.  ) Jeff had some wonderful insights, and I am excited to share them with you guys. Here's some of the scripture references: Colossians 2: 6-22 I Corinthians 9:25-27 And something out of Galatians, but I didn't write it down.... Anyway, I know you will like it.  And when you do, spread the message with the Social Media buttons!!  Pick one, pick all of them, go nuts.  remember, you are the marketing department, please continue to help us out. Above all, continue to pray for us, as we make this project from scratch, every week. Episode 26 Show God the money - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

It's episode 26, time to talk about money. But we don't talk about it in the usual evangelical kind of way.  We don't mention pinching your pennies til Abe pukes.  We don't beg for money so that we can stay on the air.  Or my personal favorite, give money or God will strike me dead. No, this time we talk about our relationship with money and how it reflects on almost directly on your relationship with God.  No further spoilers.  Just listen. Scripture we discuss in this episode: Luke 12:13-21 Parable of the rich fool 1 Timothy 6: 3-10 The love of money is really bad stuff Hebrews 13:5-6 The love of the green stuff is still really bad Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 Enjoy the fruit of your labor Ecc 2:24 Enjoying work is a gift from God Ecc 3:13 Enjoying work is still a gift from God Philippians 4:11-13 The Secret I need to thank my good buddy Ken Collier for helping us out this time around. If you like this episode, please share the links on your favorite social media platform using the little buttons on the side of the screen there.  It helps us out.  You can tweet too.  I'm starting to tweet.  Little fledgling tweets. You can also subscribe on iTunes, leave reviews.  The more subscribers we have the more visibility we get which gets us more subscribers which gives us more visibility, etc. And more importantly, please continue to pray for all of us (ok, all 1.75 people) involved in getting this project off the ground from scratch every week. Episode 25, Built upon The Rock - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to episode 25!!! One of my kids favorite songs goes, "The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Rock." They prefer the Cedarmont Kids version: Jesus' parable in Matthew 7:24-27 is a favorite in Sunday School because, much like the video, you can have a cool visual lesson with houses crumbling and make a big mess, which kids love. But is that all there is? Nope. I drag my brother into this week's discussion about foundations.  We discuss the idea that sometimes, it can be really hard to tell whether you are on rock, or on sand. What we say we believe, and what we really and truly believe are on display every day.  What you really believe can be seen in your behaviors towards people, situations, even yourself. And so I think it is really important to sit down, and really dig into your foundational beliefs.  And do it while things are going "good" in your life.  Because as the song says, the rain will come down, the flood will come up.  And at that point, it can be too late to change anything. We also talk about my struggles with faith, and how this parable has been and continues to be a help.  It's so important to make sure you are on The Rock. I hope you like this episode.  If you do, please share a link on your favorite social media platform.  You can also go back and enjoy some of our past episodes.  Share those too while you are at it, please. Mostly just pray for us over here.  That would be the biggest help of all. Thanks, Cliff   The post Episode 25, Built upon The Rock appeared first on God, Scrubs, and Workboots.

Episode 24, Consistency - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 24-Consistency!! And welcome to Season 2 of the God Scrubs and Work Boots Podcast!! I am very proud of the work we put up last year, and very excited about the plans for this coming year. And super excited about this week's guest host, my wife, Denise!  Our New Year's resolution for this year was one word- Consistency.  It doesn't really matter how many individual goals we make, if we are inconsistent with our efforts, they will all fail.  Again, and again, and again. If you don't go to the gym every week, exercise doesn't work.  If you don't plan your meals every week, your diet won't work.  No consistency, no changes. In the same vein, If you do nothing but the same thing over and over again, don't expect a new outcome.  If you only run 1 mile every week, don't expect to cruise through 20 miles tomorrow. If you have only been curling 25 pounds for years, don't expect to toss 135 pounds over your head tomorrow. The same rules apply to our spiritual life, or spiritual development.  Billy Graham didn't get to be Billy Graham overnight.  He didn't cram the night before a campaign, he was ready because of consistent spiritual disciplines over years.  (And God's help, of course) I hope you enjoy our conversation.  I am proud of Denise for taking her own advice and stepping outside of her comfort zone by being on the show.  So please send her some love for helping us out. You can do that by commenting on our FaceBook page.  If you enjoy the show, please do us a favor and share the link to the show on your favorite social media platform. Please subscribe on iTunes, or the Blubrry network. And as usual, please pray for us, the show, and God's grace and guidance. Thanks, Cliff

Episode 23 Aslan is on the move - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 23, Aslan is on the move! This year I have been reading a devotional by Sky Jethani, (who is on the “chicken list” for people I want to be a guest).  In one earlier this month he laid out the political revolution that was sparked when Gabriel appeared to Mary and announced the arrival of The One True King.  The line from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe occurred to me, and never left: Aslan is on the move.  Aslan is the rightful heir to the throne of Narnia, son of the Emperor Across The Sea.  He will overthrow the reign of The White Witch, banish the eternal winter and bring back springtime.  If it sounds like The Gospel Story, you are right.  It’s supposed to.  Jesus infiltrates enemy territory and starts a rebellion not just against Rome, but the Gates of Hell itself.  And brings back spring. The announcement of the baby's birth sparks a revolution that will shake the very foundations of the world.  It sounds like hyperbole, but it's true.  Everything changed.  And you had people like Mary and Joseph that welcomed the disruption vs people like Herod, who would murder anyone who got in his way, even toddlers. Here are the scripture references from this episode: Isaiah 9:6-7 Luke 1:29-38 Luke 1:46-55 It’s another short episode this week.  Don’t worry; we’ll get back to blowing things up with hour+ long episodes in the New Year, Lord willin’. Until then, we would consider it an early Christmas gift if you would share the links for this week’s show on your favorite social media platform.  Leave us some comments on the FaceBook page too.  Subscribe on iTunes, leave us a review, we would love it. Continue to Pray for us. And have yourselves a merry little Christmas. Cliff

Episode 22, How should Christians respond? - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 22!!  How Should Christians Respond in a world going kind of cattywampus? With all of the truly evil things happening in the world right now, it can be really terrifying and completely overwhelming.  People shooting folks over there, over here, seemingly everywhere.  And it's not just the plain old crazy we all grew up with.  It's a whole new type, at least for us over here. And it's not just The Bad Guys, it's the wave of people running away from various conflicts seeking refuge wherever they can find it.  Sure, alot of them might need help, but at least some of them could be Bad Guys in disguise. What are we supposed to do?  Who are we supposed to listen to?  There are plenty of voices lined up on both sides of the aisle.  They run the gamut from kill them and their families to give them all a hug. There are many, many "christian" leaders busy saying many things.   I was going to put up more links to various other stories, but I stopped.  It was too depressing, and I just didn't want to add to the mess.  Plus, I uncovered not a few despicable websites that I did not want to expose my audience to nor in any way seem to endorse. So where should a follower of Christ get his and her answers?  The News?  Your Pastor?  Facebook?  (hint, never facebook.  Unless it's our page, then it's ok) Might I humbly suggest that we actually read the Bible, and the words of Christ?  And might I humbly ask for christians to become radical, and actually go forth and do what Christ has already gone on record as what our response should be? Gosh, wouldn't that be something? Our illustrious co-host, David, returns from exile..I mean hiatus to discuss who we should and should not be listening to, and more importantly why. We toss out a ton of bible verses, and a better show would write them all down for you.  But you are stuck with us.  Here's the two main one scriptures we keep circling around, Psalm 1 and Matthew 25. I hope you enjoy it.  I know we had fun recording it. If you are are digging it, then please do us a favor and share the links to this and past shows on your favorite social media platform.  That's why those buttons are over there on the left hand side of your screen. And as always, please pray for us. Have fun, Cliff The post Episode 22, How should Christians respond? appeared first on God, Scrubs, and Workboots.

Episode 21 Thanksgiving! - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Lucky Episode 21!! It's Thanksgiving all across these United States of America.  And for that, we are thankful. We are also thankful to you, our lovely audience, for sticking with us when the schedule went haywire earlier this month and we neglected to warn any of you.  We apologize, and are thankful for your mercy and pardon.   This episode I talk about my Enforced Gratefulness Exercise I do every morning.  (It sounds much manlier to call it that rather than simply say Counting My Blessings.)  It's been kind of a fake it till you make it thing for me.  There may be some folks who would say that's not the best way, that you should just Be Grateful.  But that's hard to do all the time.  What has been more effective for me is treating it like exercise.  Start slow and puny and build up to strength and power. As a special bonus, our good buddy Jeff Price makes a special guest cameo to drop some wisdom and church history on us.  And for that, we are very grateful.  Thankful, even.  And I do a barely above average reading of President Lincoln's proclamation establishing Thanksgiving as a national holiday.  Enjoy. We would be thankful if you would help spread the word about GSWP by hitting those little buttons right over there on the left hand margin of your screen.  Just pick your favorite media platform and have at it.  Use all the buttons, go nuts, we dare you.  I'd thank you if you would.  Also please subscribe on iTunes and leave us a review.  I'd be grateful. As always, leave us some comments down below about this and past episodes. The best way to help us out, above even spreading the news about what we are trying to do with this show, is lifting us up in prayer about what we are trying to do with this show.  For that, we would truly be very thankful. Episode 20 Cliff apologizes to the Kardashians - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 20!!! In this episode, I Cliff Arceneaux, do indeed, apologize to the Kardashians.  The whole clan.   The Kardashians are the target of an endless array of jokes, put downs, insults, and downright hatred.  Also the focus of admiration, and aspiration.  A quick search shows an exhaustive amount of material detailing where they are, what they are doing, who they are marrying/divorcing and of course what they are wearing. To paraphrase the modern day bard, Logan: "They are the best there is at what they do, and what they do best isn't very nice."  And folks love them and love to hate them for it. Last Episode, I made some negative and judgemental comments about them.  And then Jesus showed me that there really isn't a whole lot of difference between me and the Kardashians. It's a short episode this time, but I do throw out a bunch of scriptures.  Here's the quick list: Luke 6: 42- Take the log out of your eye socket first Romans 2:29 Praise not from man, but from God Genesis 1:27 Made in the image of God John 3:16  God loves me and rescued me Romans 8:31  If God is on my side, what am I worried about? Ephesians 1:3-6 God planned on adopting me a long time ago Romans 8:17 I am one of God's children (Also Galatians 4:6 ) Hebrews 2:11  Jesus is not ashamed of me Over all, this episode talks about where we get our validation from and where we actually should be getting it from. Thanks for listening. As always, let us know what you think.  Leave us a comment on Facebook or here on the site.  Please share the links for this and any other episode you like on your favorite social media platform.    Leave lots of comments.  Or just an emoji.  That's cool with us. Thanks, Cliff   PS  I mention the Lore podcast in this episode too.  It's worth checking out if you like spooky stories. Episode 19 Why are Christians so angry, part 2 - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 19!!! We continue our conversation about why christians are so angry with my brother, Clay.  We get a bit more into our "original" topic, since we got off the rails last episode. This time we delve into  * Is a vote for Donald Trump throwing away your morals away? * Should we get into fights on FaceBook? * Who is actually leaving The Church? * as well as hypocrites, televangelists and much, much more!!! I admit, we do kinda ramble about on this one.  If you are looking for a nice, tight interview that stays on point, this is not the episode for you.  (To be honest, this probably isn't even the show for you.) But we do actually manage to bring it around to the original topic and wrap it up with a nice tight bow!! ...sort of... Regardless, the idea of the show is to discuss things what need discussing, encourage you, entertain you and lift up the name of Jesus.  And this show nails it. If you like the show, let us know down below in the comments.  Please leave us a kind word on FaceBook or an iTunes review.  Subscribe on iTunes so you never miss an episode. Also, if you like the show, please share the show links with all of your friends on your favorite social media platform.  Just push a button on the left side of the screen over there!  We make it easy for you!! Episode 18, Why are Christians so angry? - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 18!! My plan was to have an "un-politics" show.  I wanted to talk about christianity and how it is used & abused during presidential elections.  That's why I invited my brother, Clay, as our guest.  He's smarter, funnier and keeps his ear to the ground.  Win-win.  So we all studied up and got prepared for a nice little religion and politics discussion.   Then I took the whole things off the rails at question #1.  Why are christians so angry? It's really been bothering me lately, especially after reading some of the rants from mega-pastors lately. We are called to be Peacemakers, yet we often come off as judgemental, angry, full of non-love.  Christ said all men should know that we are his disciples by the love we have for each other. So why are so angry? Let's talk about it. Leave your comments down below, or on the facebook page. And as always, thanks for listening and for keeping us in your prayers.   Cliff

Episode 17 with Beliefs of the heart, part 2 - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to episode 17 of the GSWP! I am thrilled to present the second part of our conversation with author, blogger, podcaster Sam Williamson from Beliefs of the Heart.  If you did not catch the first part of our talk with Sam, please go ahead and do so now.  Compliance is mandatory.   In this episode, we talk about: * How do we keep God from screwing things up? * Does anybody really know how to have a relationship with God? * Who is Karl Barth, why do we care and what children's song does he say distills the essence of all of the most important theological concepts ever? * What is the #1 danger "for" and "of" celebrity pastors? * Is Jehovah really a good father?  really? I am still super excited to gift you with this second part of our conversation.  I hope you enjoy it. If you did enjoy it, please subscribe to our podcast on iTunes, and leave us a review.  Please share the show links on your favorite social media platform.  Yes, even Google Plus.  You are our marketing department, so please get to work.  At least look busy when we walk by, ok? Episode 16 with Beliefs of the Heart - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode Sweet Sixteen!! We are thrilled to present the first part of our conversation with Sam Williamson from Beliefs of the Heart!!  I have been a fan of his since I read his book, Is Sunday School destroying our kids?  And his blog is superb.  Smart, funny, piercing without being judgemental.  And grounded in The Word, not in whatever zeitgeist is circulating through the evangelical circles. In this conversation we touch on * Whether or not Macgyver would make a good missionary? * What is wrong with every single Sunday School story you have ever heard? * And how do you get past the "but"? Sam was a great guest, and we really enjoyed talking with him.  I am proud to count him as a friend now.  I know you will enjoy this conversation. Episode 15 Is the Sky falling part 3 - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 15!!  And the third and final part of our conversation with Brian Collier about recent events in the world, cleverly titled Is The Sky Falling.  Of course, by this part of the recording we have veered off topic a bit and discuss:   * Deciding to choose what you put into your mind * The upside of cutting your hand off * Don't be Achan * Busyness vs Availability * How not to be a control freak Among other things. I really want to thank David and Brian for really putting themselves out there and being upfront and honest during this final part of our talk.  It's one thing to point out other's flaws, but it takes a strong person to own up to their own struggles.  Good job guys, Atta boy! But that is one of the big reasons we do this podcast.  To show ourselves as real, living breathing folks with struggles as complex and banal as yours.  We are Christians who walk and talk with The King Of Glory, yes.  But that doesn't mean we have.it all figured out.  It means we take our struggles to The One who already knows the answer and has a plan in place.  It's very freeing.  Liberating. And that is how it is supposed to be. As always, let us know what you think with comments down below. Help us out by sharing the links on your favorite social media platforms.  It's why we have those handy-dandy buttons on the side of the screen over there. And the biggest favor you could do would be to pray for us. Thanks, Cliff

Episode 14 Is the sky falling part 2 - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

Welcome to Episode 14!! It's time for another round with Brian Collier to see if the sky is indeed falling.  (It's not) I hope you enjoyed last episode.  I know I'm still chewing on the idea of the divide between Christians who serve The Church and Christians who serve Jesus.  There is definitely a difference between the two.  (Listen to Episode Thirteen to hear more) Our conversation keeps flowing along with topics of: * Is it really easier to hide in a cave? * Why you should never name your kid 'Demas'. * Is God grumpy in the morning? * Can The Church serve God and man? * Can a church be popular and holy?  Are the two mutually exclusive? * When is it out of season to preach the gospel? Please continue to let us know what you think of the show & website. And if you have any ideas for future topics, you can let us know here or on our Facebook page. We are going to try something new the next few episodes and not pay Facebook a little extra to push our show links.  If we can use our meager promotion budget and add that to our meager production budget, it will get us one step closer to cranking out one show a week.  So please help us out.  Not by sending money!  Just Share our show links when they drop on any social media outlet you prefer.  That's it.  Hiring skywriters are optional and very cool, but not really cost effective either. And as always, please Pray for David and me as we try to encourage folks. Thanks, Cliff

Episode 13-Is the Sky Falling-Part one with Brian Collier - God, Scrubs, and Workboots Podcast

(http://godscrubsandworkboots.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/13-ball-150x150.jpg)Welcome to Episode #13!! Maybe you've noticed a good number of our Christian brothers and sisters running like Chicken Little after the recent Supreme Court decision.  Maybe you feel like that, the ground has shifted, you are not sure where to go, what to do? Or worse, maybe you don't know what to think.  Maybe you are walking around with your head in your hands wondering, Why? Of course, maybe you are skipping down the road of life yelling "Yippity Skippity!"  Maybe. Either way, this show is for you. We planned on having a calm, level headed, perfectly rational discussion about what the recent decision means for America, Christendom and our families.  I'm not sure why we invited Brian if that was the case...  Actually, as a history teacher, father, man of God, with more than a healthy pinch of sarcasm, Brian is a great guy to talk to about this. And then David sent this email (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1FzXesJxazWTDhHWTlJNDVIT3c/view?usp=sharing) a few days before we could record, and I got more than a little bit fired up. And this has been my main problem with the debate, an atheistic form of Christianity where WE have to decide what to do, WE decide how to react.  Instead of asking what would Jesus have us to do?  How does Jesus want us to react? How do we defend the Church?  Should  we bother? Do we need to go live in caves?  Can religion and politics successfully mix? How can the sky possibly be falling if God is really in Charge? We discuss all that and more in part one of our three part conversation with Brian Collier. As always, please leave some comments down below. And if you feel led to help us out, share the links on Facebook, leave us a review on iTunes,  sign you, your friends and your enemies up on iTunes. And above all, continue to pray for David and Me as we work on this show. Thanks, Cliff

(http://godscrubsandworkboots.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/plugging-in-300x195.jpg) We are thrilled to present the final installment of our discussion about prayer with our friend Jeff Price. We talk about: * Prayer vs meditation * What should the "Prayer List' at church really be about? * Do the old school catholic monks have The Answer? * Do you have to be a priest in order for your work to honor God? If you have not had a chance to listen to episodes 10 (http://godscrubsandworkboots.com/2015/06/ep-10-prayer-with-jeff-price/) or 11 (http://godscrubsandworkboots.com/2015/06/episode-11-prayer-part-2-with-jeff-price/), do yourself a favor and give them a listen.  Then sit back and enjoy this one.  It's great, and we want to once again thank Jeff for sitting down and talking with us.   It has been our most popular group of episodes so far.  And it highlights what our goal has been for the whole podcast: conversations about God without a lot of fluff and filler. Let us know what you think in the comments down below.  That always helps us out. Another way to help us out is to subscribe on iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/tw/podcast/god-scrubs-workboots-podcast/), or on the Blubrry network (https://www.blubrry.com/podcast_god_scrubs_workboots/). Leave some reviews, breadcrumbs, anything that could bring people in and let them try the show. And as always, please pray for us that we can fulfill whatever God wants with us and our little show. Thanks, Cliff

ABOUT THIS SHOW

On the God, Scrubs, and Workboots podcast, we discuss how walking with Christ works in the real world. Due to lack of talent, all we have to offer up is authenticity and honesty. Be strengthened, and be encouraged; God, Scrubs, and Workboots is real folks, living real life, while serving a real Jesus.
