GOD's Way Is Better

Judges 2: 21-22- I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations Joshua left when he died. did this to test Israel and to see whether or not they would keep the Lord's way by walking in it, as their ancestors had.

Hosea 4:6- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because you have rejected knowledge I will reject you

Isaiah 40:4- Every valley will be lifted up, and every mountain and hill will be leveled, the uneven ground will become smooth and the rough places a plain

This is the first of a 2 part series on chasing. There are 2 sides to every coin. Today I'm discussing side A. The more attention I wanted from someone the more they pulled away.Don't mistake attention for intention.

One is seeing a decline while the other is increasing. What's the reason? 2 Thessalonians 2:15- So then brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold to the traditions you were taught

Ephesians 2: 1-2 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins in which you previously walked according to the ways of this world, according to the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit now working in the disobedient. People are spiritually dead and need to be revived. The walking dead are among us and need to be saved.

Galatians 6:9 Let us not get tired of doing good for we will reap at the proper time if we don't give up.

Self control isn't built by fighting temptations. Its built by avoiding invitations. Proverbs 25:28 Like a city broken into and left without walls is a man who lacks self control

Ezekiel 33:8 If I say to the wicked, Wicked one, you will surely die, but you do not speak out to warn him about his way, that wicked person will die for his iniquity, yet I will hold you responsible for his blood...

What is enough for you? What is essential for you to live a full life? Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

We're all hypocrites. We've all made mistakes. We are truly living in the last days. Its time for serious self examination and repentance before its too late.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. If you have gotten too comfortable on your walk with Christ you aren't doing something right.

Matthew 4:4 It is written man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Fasting is not about recognition but spiritual discipline. Why should you fast? Listen and find out

Do you love God as much as you say you do? Is your life a reflection of God's love?

Its important for us to have unwavering obedience to Gods word. When we reject God it leads to hardship. We must repent and live a life that is pleasing to God.

How is your prayer life? Are you seeking God's guidance or other sources? Matthew 7:7 Ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you

Are you spiritually, emotionally, or physically tired? Nobody talks about how hard it is to change your life. God knows how you feel and he has not forgotten you.

Are you a man or woman with Integrity? How important is it to have? Integrity is the foundation of your character. What does your character say about you?

What are the temptations you struggle with? Jesus was also tempted but overcame it. So can you. What are you willing to give up to pass the test?

Who are your friends? Is it genuine or superficial? The foundation of any good relationship is friendship.
