As we draw closer to our Lords return, what characteristics should mark the Christian waiting expectantly for Christ to come? It might surprise you as to what is coming.

The Blessed Hope of Christ’s Return! Pt. 2
When terrorists torture their victims, they have one primary goal. Remove hope. The Bible fills the Christian with hope and nothing gives hope better than our promised resurrection from the death and the certainty of the second coming of Jesus Christ. We will unpack the truth of this hope from 1 Thess. 4:13-18 this Sunday here at Grace. I believe the Holy Spirit will be with us doing a great work of hope.

The Blessed Hope of Christ’s Return! Pt. 1
Why should I actually care about the Lords return? If Christ is coming back, hell come back. Whats the big deal? I think these are fare questions and I intend to answer them. In preparing our hearts for 1 Thess 4:13-18, we are going to pause our study of 1 Thess 4 to study Gods Word together to answer these rather germane questions.

The Gift of a Moral Compass, Pt. 2
In a culture saturated with messages about sex, the Bible has much to say about God's good design for our sexuality. While many churches shy away from this topic, we believe it is important to address it with both biblical truth and grace. Over the next two Sundays (July 12 & 19), Pastor Don will be teaching on this subject in a thoughtful and biblical way. Nursery and Grace Kids will be available during the message. Parents are encouraged to use their own discretion regarding whether their children should attend the service. This material has previously been presented to junior high students through adults in EFCA churches and CRU college ministries and is rooted in a biblical theology of sexuality drawn from several passages of Scripture. Please join us in praying that God would use these services to bring renewal and revival in our hearts, in our church, and throughout our community.

The Correction We All Need
When we think of discipline and correction, we often think of it as something to avoid! Receiving correction when in sin is often painful and it is tempting to hide in shame or lash out in defense. You are invited this Sunday to behold the loving correction of God and to experience the restoration that his discipline brings.

A Life that is Pleasing to God
Do you sometimes feel like obedience to God is a dry duty? Paul puts Gods word in a framework that will reset the way we view obedience in the Christian life. It will change the way you look at Gods commandments and obedience toward him. It will give you a joy and a delight in those things.

A Perfect Father for an Imperfect World
When we think of Abraham, David, or Paul, it's easy to place them on a pedestal as giants of the faith. But before they were biblical heroes, they were ordinary men: fathers, mentors, sinners, and servants of God. Their lives remind us that God doesn't use perfect people to shape the next generation; He uses faithful people who seek to follow Him, the Perfect Father, and are willing to pass on what He has taught them.

When it comes to sharing your faith, many people are intimidated. Fear says, “No!” even as the Lord might be saying, “Yes! Share with them.” The people in the Bible needed to be equipped and encouraged for sharing with others about Jesus. So do we! Join us this Sunday as we unpack 1 Thess. 2:1-12 as together we learn how to Share Christ as a Servant of Christ. You might be thinking you are disqualified to share Christ as you read these words. Think again! God is doing a great work at Grace! We are expecting Him to show up and change our lives. Join us this Sunday as we watch Him do just that! You are dearly loved, Pastor Don
