Grace, Part 1
God described his Glory to Moses as being Merciful, Gracious, Longsuffering, committed to a Steadfast, Unchangeable Love. God gave us a clear picture of how we are to think about Him. We find this same God and Grace in the New Testament. The scriptures give us a clear picture of who God really is. Standing in Victory, Part 3
Neither the weakest Christian nor the strongest Christian struggles toward victory - he stands in it. Nor does either fight to achieve a blessing. The Christian steps up by faith and accepts all that God has for him. In Jesus Christ, this is our position. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus, regardless of how weak you are or how worldly and carnal you may be - in the sight of God, you are on redemption ground in Jesus Christ. That is our position. Truth, Part 3
Among those who confess Christianity, there are only about 4% who can articulate the core tenants of their faith. It is discovered that most Christians have formed a mongrel world view. That is, a world view that mixes a little Christianity, a little pantheism and a little naturalism, because they are rarely, if ever, challenged on the unknowing hypocrisy of their own belief system. We must define our world view as a Christian if we are to THINK right. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111

The Eternal Burden, Part 3
A burden is a compelling point of motivation. It is a steering mechanism - the gasoline in our human engine. It weighs us down until it is satisfied. It overwhelms our thoughts and directs our actions. The Eternal Burden rewrites our life - it changes our values. If we don't have a heart that is burdened with an overwhelming sense of conviction, we will never be fruitful in the service of the Lord. Doulos - Who's Your Daddy? Part 2
Who's your daddy? is a slang expression that, in one use, takes the form of a rhetorical question. It is commonly used as a boastful claim of dominance over the intended listener. It is a question we need to ask ourselves in the spiritual, emotional and psychological realm. It could be said more like, "Who controls you?" or "Whose authority are you under?" The apostle Paul asked this question in his own way over 2000 years ago. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111

Let's Get Started, Part 3
Finding out God's purpose for our lives is imperative if we are to get the very best out of our years on earth. Sometimes we are so disconnected from God's purpose and sucked into the world's vortex that we never find God's rhythm for our life. God's purpose can change and shift throughout our life. But if we don't seek God's purpose, we will never find it. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111

Doulos - It's a Slave's Life, Part 2
"A slave's life was one of complete surrender, submission, and service to the master - and the people of Jesus' day would have immediately recognized the parallel. Christ's invitation to follow Him was an invitation to that same kind of life." - MacArthur. It is only in being a slave of Christ that we find our greatest purpose in life. We are designed for Him - our ultimate life is found in our closeness to Christ. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111

Doulos - I am a Christian, Part 1
It is vitally important when we hear the Word of God being taught, or read, or studied - that we always hear it or read it through the lens of grace. The scriptural ideal of life is beyond man's ability to live it. Matthew 5:28-20 points to an impossible life. We cannot live life at this level; we need help, and we need GRACE. The Banquet, Part 2
On most occasions banquets were offered to close friends and family. It was not casual; there was great honor in throwing the banquet - and being invited to the banquet. The seeming worthy, the religious, acceptable and respected by men refused the invitation to feast with the King. The Host wants anyone who wants to be there to come! This is a parable of extravagent grace. To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111

The Samaritan, Part 2
God is extravagant in His love, in His grace and in His mercy towards us. He will lay down His life for those who despise Him. He will go the extra mile. How we think is not how He thinks. God is not bound by race, culture or offense. His nature is to love, accept and affirm. It always has been - and always will be. A Story of Two Men, Part 2
We need help changing the way we think about God, ourselves and others. We have to untangle our often life-long religious concepts and images of God - produced from a fallen human heart - and the only way to do that is to replace these erroneous concepts with truth. Whatever you have done, no matter how bad we may deem it to be, Salvation has come to you through Jesus Christ. A Story of Two Ladies, Part 2
"What is God Like?" is the title of a children's book, as well as a question that most humans have asked themselves at some point in their lives. The problem is people have equated religion as to what God is really like. Religion has often, although not always, failed to bring to its followers a full and correct image of the God they worship. It is often reduced to an outward behavioral practice, missing the heart of the one they are trying to offer. The Autopsy of a Volunteer, Part 3
I have never heard of a church that said they have enough volunteers. I have had hundreds of people volunteer is 30 years of ministry, some a lot, some a little. I have seen many be truly blessed and built up in their faith, find their place in the body of Christ and get deeply blessed by being a blessing with others. I have also seen people get wounded, discouraged, frustrated, angry, temperamental, judgmental and territorial as a volunteer. What diseases can infect the heart of a volunteer? Clearing Your Own Inheritance, Part 3
It is important to be settled in how we understand God's Grace. Don't be content in life until you have realized God's portion of grace, and don't be discontented by the fact he might not have gifted you as you would like to be gifted. Greatness has nothing to do with church accomplishments, titles or positions. It has everything to do with faithfulness to the Lord and a constant, persistent endeavor for a deeper walk with him. The Lord our Inheritance, Part 2
"Thank God that in the moment when someone has been crushed seemingly beyond help, when the things that he has cherished most in life have crashed around him, and he is left in the shattered wreck of what once he thought was a home, the Lord Jesus holds out His hand to aid. Thank God, He takes the clay that has been marred, the precious, soiled, broken life, and molds it again, now into a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use. And He says, 'From this moment onward the Lord thy God is thy inheritance.'" (Redpath) To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/614/29?v=20251111
