We are back for the first time in 2022! After starting the year off with fasting, discerning God’s will, and passing the semester. I am starting the summer season off right with reset and restore. Today's episode is the third of the series ‘Reading the Bible and Understanding God’s Authority. The main points to take from this are comparing and contrasting fact vs. story, answering questions you get about the Bible, and facts about the Bible you should know. In the world we live in now, false prophets are on the rise, everyone has a say, and the authority’s given to anyone with a voice. But we have chosen God as our voice, and as our foundation, we have faith in Jesus Christ, his son. We are smoothing out the bumps (also known as doubt) in this foundation with absolute fact. This is the second episode of the series reading the ‘Bible and Understanding God’s Authority. The main point to take from this is the definition of authority, examples of authority in the real world, and why I choose to believe God’s word as my ultimate authority, and why I follow it. The word of God was there from the beginning of creation, and his all-knowing authority is what leads to an abundant life.
