  2. 447

You Are Not the Only One Fighting for Your Soul

Most of us have prayed "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" thousands of times. In this final sentence of the Lord's Prayer, have you ever stopped to ask what Jesus actually meant and why He stopped with this final instruction? In the final sermon of our five-part series on the Lord's Prayer, we find three things. First, we are weaker than we want to admit. Second, there is a real enemy who studies our patterns and times his pressures in our weakest moments. Third, the prayer Jesus gives us is not a request for protection from the sidelines. It is a petition that allows us to step onto the field.

  3. 446

    Forgiveness Isn't Free

Matthew 6:12 holds what may be the most searching line in the entire Lord's Prayer: "Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors." Most of the prayer asks God for things. This line ties what we're asking God to do to something we are supposed to be doing. In this sermon we work through why Jesus uses the language of debt and not just sin, what daily confession actually is and isn't, what it really demands of us, and why forgiveness costs the forgiver but holding onto to bitterness costs far more.

  4. 445

    God wants your grocery list

What if the most spiritual thing you could do today was ask God for groceries? Jesus had five petitions to teach his disciples to pray and the first one about human need wasn't forgiveness, or deliverance, or wisdom. It was bread. When we look at the Lord's Prayer from this perspective, we find that it's not a throwaway request. It's a window into the character of God, a diagnosis of one of the deepest idols of the human heart, and an invitation to a completely different way of moving through your week.

  5. 444

Whose Kingdom Are You Actually Building?

You feel it. The sense that something is deeply wrong with the world — and with you. That ache isn't an accident. Jesus had a name for it, and a prayer that speaks directly into it. Matthew 6:10 might be the most radical sentence you've ever casually repeated.

  6. 443

Do you know who you are talking to?

Praying to a God you don't really know will feel like an empty prayer. We are so familar with calling God "Father" that we don't realize how radical it sounded to His disciples. This sermon unpacks why starting the prayer with "Father" changes everything, why "in heaven" keeps us from shrinking God down to our size, and what it means to sincerely pray "hallowed be your name".

  7. 442

    What are you asking for?

What if the thing you are asking God to change isn’t what you need? The young church in Colossae under intense cultural, social, and spiritual pressure. Instead of praying for a change in the culture around them, Paul prays for something more radical. He prays that they would be filled with the knowledge of Jesus....and this knowledge gives them the strength to endure. When we're tired, discouraged, or just spiritually numb, this prayer can completely reshape our approach to life.

  8. 441

What If Your Biggest Problem Isn't Your Situation?

What circumstances might change in your life everything to be okay? Is that what you're drawn to pray for? Writing from prison, Paul does not ask for a change in his circumstances. Instead he prays for people he loves. Under the Holy Spirit's inspiration, he makes the case that the condition of your soul is more urgent than the condition of your circumstances.

  9. 440

What if the real problem isn't your circumstance?

Most of our prayers are about changing our circumstances. But what if the deepest thing God wants to do isn't change what's around you but change what's inside you? In Ephesians 3:14–21, the Apostle Paul is sitting in a Roman prison when he writes one of the most extraordinary prayers in all of Scripture. He doesn't pray for his situation to improve. He doesn't pray for comfort or relief. He gets on his knees and prays for something far more radical: the complete interior transformation of the people he loves. In this sermon we walk through Paul's five petitions: to be strengthened deep in the inner person, to have Christ fully at home in your heart, to be so rooted in love that nothing can uproot you, to know a love bigger than you can fully comprehend, and to be filled with all that God is.This is the prayer that reshapes a life. Not overnight, and not without resistance. But the God Paul is praying to is able to do far more than anything we could ask or imagine.

  10. 439

Why does God feel so far away?

What if unanswered prayer isn't a God problem, it's a you problem? That's not a comfortable question. But it's the question Isaiah 59 forces us to sit with. In this sermon we look at why sin doesn't just affect your behavior, it affects your access, and more importantly, what God Himself did to tear that barrier down for good.

  11. 438

What If Everything You're Doing for God Is Keeping You from Him?

Does it feel like every time you try to pray something gets in the way? It might be a to-do list or an urgent interruption. Luke tells a story about Jesus walking into a house where two sisters respond to His presence in completely opposite ways. One serves. One sits. And what Jesus says next is the response to anyone who feels exhausted from doing all the right things yet something is missing. Only one thing is necessary. Jesus tells us what it is.

  12. 437

    Is guilt holding you back?

You bow your head, start to pray… and within seconds you’re replaying yesterday’s failures, last week’s sin, or the gap between the “church you” and the “real you.” Guilt hijacks the conversation and turns prayer into a never‑ending performance review. This message shows you why that is not how God intends you to approach Him. If you’ve ever avoided prayer because you felt unworthy, or gone through the motions without really believing God wanted to hear from you, this is for you.

  13. 436

    Why does your mind wander?

Do you ever start to pray and find your mind quickly going somewhere else? That is not a sign that you’re a “bad Christian.” A wandering mind in prayer is part of a spiritual war, shaped by indwelling sin and a distracted culture. Take confidence in Paul's teaching; you’ve been raised with Christ, you’ve died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. God’s acceptance of you doesn’t rise and fall with how focused you feel. Simply keep coming back to the God who already holds you in Christ.

  14. 435

    What do you think about?

What if your prayers are being held back not by a lack of faith, but by the way you think? In this message we unpack how your thought life is silently shaping your prayer life. Are your prayers mostly about fixing circumstances, or fueled by a deep hunger for Christ, His kingdom, and His glory?  If you’ve ever felt like your prayers are shallow, repetitive, or powerless, this teaching will give you a biblical path to richer, deeper, more God-centered prayer.

  15. 434

    Your Faith in Action

In this powerful exploration of James 2:14-26, we're challenged to examine the vital connection between our faith and our actions. The central message reminds us that true faith is not merely intellectual assent, but a living force that compels us to act. We're encouraged to reflect on how we're putting our beliefs into practice, especially in serving those in need. The scripture beautifully illustrates this through the stories of Abraham and Rahab, showing that faith requires sacrifice and courage. As we contemplate our own faith journey, we're invited to consider: Are we just talking the talk, or are we truly walking the walk? This message urges us to step out in faith, overcome our fears and hesitations, and live out our beliefs in tangible ways that glorify God and serve others.

  40. 409

    Willing Hearts, Obedient Feet
