Holding Fast the Faithful Word

Our redemption from sin and its penalty came at a great cost.  Through no other man or means came redemption other than the MAN Jesus Christ and his Substitutionary death on the cross. 

Some thoughtful considerations on why we should read the Bible. 

To sum up God's purpose in election and adoption is to say it was all for his good purpose and will. 

What the statistics put out by the various polling platforms, with churches struggling to keep their doors open and families and society on the decline morally we have a clarion call to aggressively return to the Bible and the Bible to the pre-eminent place in church, home, hearts, and society. 

In this lesson we cover three important areas for spiritual qualifications.  A man must be Blameless, Compassionate and Faithful. 

This lesson focuses more on the doctrine of adoption. 

This study focuses on the man as the judge of all things spiritual. As priests in our homes, we must seek to guard the spirit and peace in our homes by not allowing things in that would hinder spiritual health and growth

Predestination coupled with election gives us two very encouraging doctrines and, in context (verse), another blessing we have been blessed with. 

The man of the house plays an important role in the religious instruction of his family. This is a discipline that must be carried over into life by making sure his family attends worship together. 

God's Election was not an afterthought; it was determined in eternity past. It solidifies for Christians the overarching grace and sovereignty of God in our lives and inspires hope in this life and in the life to come. 

For this study, we will review the man as the mediator of blessings in his home. While we understand that there is one true Mediator in the Lord Jesus Christ especially as it concerns salvation, we see the role of the man in a limited capacity communicating those blessings intended for his family. 

In this program, we will dive a bit deeper into this chapter by highlighting the source of all spiritual blessings for believers.  God has not held back anything meant to be an encouragement and hope of the believer. 

This the beginning of a series through the book of Ephesians. 

In this lesson, we will cover the man as director of worship in the home.  The man's role is to take the lead role not by given directives exclusively but leading by example. 

This is a precursor to a more detailed treatment of this very important subject. We have broken homes, churches and society the way to recovery is by building back strong families with a solid biblical foundation. 

Lesson 4 covers the role of a man as an interceder on behalf of his family, friends, and church. 

Chapter 3 using Job as an example we learn by way of example some aspects of how we should be as priests in our homes. 

What is the scriptural basis for our leading in the home.  Using the priesthood in the Old Testament and Christ we see a clear pathway to what we should striving for and why. 

The theme of this lesson focuses on man's role in the home, using the Old Testament priesthood as a template for how men are to be in our homes. 

Based on Romans 8:13 the mortification of the deeds of the flesh. Having the right mindset. 

By no means a deep into this popular TV series but some considerations nonetheless on whether it is biblically based and sound.
