Unashamed with the Robertson Family - Ep 1357 | Al Robertson Goes to Prison & Finds a Robertson Family Surprise
Al, Jase, and Zach reflect on Al’s powerful visit to a Louisiana prison, where hundreds of men gathered to hear the Gospel and a group of fathers prepared for a long-awaited visit with their children. Al talks about following in Phil’s footsteps through prison ministry, the unexpected Robertson cousin he met behind bars, and the hope men can still find when they choose a new future for their families. Jase also shares the wild story of a duck hunter whose run-in with an alligator became the rock-bottom moment that sent him back to God. Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 1361 | Huge Win: Christian Adoption Agency CANCELS Pro-LGBT Policy
Allie covers big news from Bethany Christian Services, the nation's largest Protestant adoption and foster care agency, which has announced it will only place children with families who fully align with its biblical statement of faith beginning in June 2027. This decision reaffirms the organization's Christian convictions on marriage and the sanctity of life after years of internal identity struggles, drawing strong praise from believers while prioritizing minimal disruption for the thousands of children they serve. Professor Robert George joins to explain his reason for creating Fidelity Month, a counter to Pride Month, that prioritizes nuclear family and faith over brokenness. Finally, Allie reacts to the Supernanny, Jo Frost, who has declared that we have taught our children to be incapable. For more about Fidelity Month, go to https://fidelitymonth.com/. The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast - The On-Ramp: How to Find Your Way Back To Each Other
Have you ever been so ready to fix something that you forgot to ask if fixing was even what was needed? In this final episode of the six-part series with therapist and communication coach Jason VanRuler, Candace and Jason shift from how we disconnect to how we reconnect. What does the on-ramp actually look like? It starts with willingness, with curiosity, and with giving the people we love room to grow at their own speed. Listener questions take center stage here: A wife who has been worn down by a husband who seems chronically disappointed. A person who absorbs everyone's moods and can't shake them. A newly married woman asking what no one told her going in. Jason's answers are practical and honest, and Candace adds what she has actually lived, including the moment she realized that praying together changed everything in her own marriage. This one brings the series home with tools you can use today, and a reminder that the relationships worth having are worth the long game. Go to candace.com to join the email list, get the Healthy Connection Guide, and ask your own questions. You can also grab Jason's book and access more resources from the series. Solo Parent - Making Peace with Our Past
This week we're discussing Making Peace with Our Past with Dr. Dan Allender. Most of us know our story. We could tell it in five minutes if someone asked. But knowing what happened and actually being free from it are two very different things. For a lot of solo parents, the past shows up uninvited, in a sharp reaction that didn't fit the moment, a fear that surfaces when things finally feel calm, a pattern with your kids you swore you'd never repeat. It doesn't mean you haven't tried. It means the trying might need to go a little deeper. And the longer we avoid that, the more the past quietly runs the present. In this conversation, Robert Beeson, Founder and CEO of Solo Parent, and Elizabeth Cole, single parent and co-host, sit down with Dr. Dan Allender, a clinical psychologist and author who has spent decades helping people face their stories honestly and find real freedom on the other side. His books The Wounded Heart, The Healing Path, and To Be Told have walked thousands through the hard work of understanding how the past is still shaping the present and what it actually takes to change that. Together they explore why avoidance keeps us stuck, how shame operates and what disarms it, and why grief and anger aren't problems to manage but forces that, held together, can finally move you forward. The conversation is honest, practical, and grounded in real experience from all three voices at the table. Key Insights from This Episode: Ignoring the past doesn't free you. It makes you reactive. The unaddressed past doesn't disappear, it shows up in your parenting, your relationships, and the moments you least expect it. Shame has to be faced, defied, and disarmed with kindness. Running from shame guarantees it follows you, but meeting it with defiance and then gentleness is what actually loosens its grip. Grief and anger belong together. Each one needs the other. Anger without grief hardens you, grief without anger drowns you, but held together they're what actually moves you forward. Unashamed with the Robertson Family - Ep 1353 | Jase Takes Beachwear Too Far & Zach’s Wife Wreaks Destruction on a Fancy Hotel
Jase, Al, and Zach dig into why real love tells the truth even when it hurts, whether it’s a spouse giving wise caution, a trusted friend offering correction, or Phil once turning an awkward rebuke into a baptism. The guys discuss the danger parents may not fear enough, arguing that kids need more outdoor adventure and less unchecked access to the screens quietly shaping their hearts. Plus, Zach shares how Jill “dashered” a luxury resort in record time, and Jase defends his deeply questionable habit of wearing socks at the beach and in the pool. Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - Ep 1358 | Cardi B’s Reaction to the Karmelo Verdict Radicalized Me
Allie reacts to breaking news from the Southern Baptist Convention, which passed an amendment defining pastoral roles strictly for males. Shifting gears, the sin of partiality is turning murderers into victims and white victims into villains. Allie covers the Karmelo Anthony murder trial, as the 19-year-old faces charges for stabbing Austin Metcalf to death at a 2025 Frisco, Texas, track meet, yet crowds chant for his freedom, and media narratives racialize the case despite the evidence. Conversely, in the U.K., bodycam footage from the Henry Nowak stabbing reveals police handcuffing the dying 18-year-old victim while showing leniency toward his Sikh killer, highlighting dangerous double standards. This video examines how overcorrections on racism have distorted justice in both America and Britain, echoing the racial divisions of the O.J. Simpson trial. What does the Bible say about such partiality? Also, the Department of War narrows down religious affiliations recognized by the Chaplain Corps, but Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) take issue with the fact that LDS was not listed as a Christian denomination. Do you have a question for Allie? Leave a voicemail at 844-755-5252. The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast - The On-Ramp: How to Find Your Way Back to Each Other
Have you ever been in a conversation and realized somewhere along the way you completely checked out? Not because you wanted to, but because your wiring just took you somewhere else? That's what this episode is about. Jason VanRuler is back as co-host, and together he and Candace break down what happens when each of the five PATHS communication types disengage. Not through open conflict or blowups — the quieter drift that happens when a Peacemaker decides it is not worth it, when a Thinker goes silent and starts cycling inward, or when a Harbor abandons themselves by over-functioning for everyone else. Candace talks openly about parenting teenagers and what it took to remember she was the adult in the room, even when the room was loud. Jason shares what it looks like when couples call him months after an intensive counseling session, having slid back into the same patterns that brought them in the first time. Connection, he says, is not something you tend to reactively. It is something you build consistently, and every PATHS type has a particular way of falling off that path. There are four listener questions in this episode, and they are honest ones: about anger that feels like it comes out of nowhere, about walls built to protect and then impossible to take down, about keeping a marriage strong when your husband is gone for twelve-plus hours a day. Candace shares what 30 years of marriage actually looks like, including the truth that not every day is a great day, and why two willing people might be the only real secret there is. Solo Parent - Tips for Creating a Peaceful Home Base
This week we're discussing: Tips for Creating a Peaceful Home Base Most solo parents are not struggling to love their kids well. They are struggling to create the kind of home where that love actually lands. Where kids feel safe, settled, and like they can exhale when they walk through the door. That gap between intention and reality is something almost every solo parent feels but rarely talks about out loud. A peaceful home is not something you either have or you don't. It is something you build, through the way you communicate, the way you listen, and the way you show up on the days when everything feels like too much. And it matters more than most of us realize, because when home feels unpredictable, kids do not just feel unsettled. They start filling the silence with their own story, and that story almost always ends with the same conclusion: something is wrong with me. Robert Beeson, Founder and CEO of Solo Parent, sits down with Elizabeth Cole, a single parent, and Amber Fuller, a counselor with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a single parent herself, to talk practically about what it takes to build a peaceful home base. Not a perfect one. A consistent one. Key Insights from This Episode: What you say, and how you say it, changes everything. Kids fill silence with their own story, and that story almost always puts the blame on themselves. Listening well is more powerful than having the right answer. Empathy before action helps you understand what your child actually needs, not just what the situation appears to need. A peaceful home is a slow build, not a single decision. Consistency over time is what creates safety, and safety is what peace is made of. The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast - How Do you Want To Be Remembered?
Have you ever watched someone approach the end of their life and thought, I want that? Not the dying part, but the confidence. The peace. The sense that they lived life well and they knew it. In this final episode of the season, Candace and Francis Chan get honest about what it takes to make it to the end — and what it costs to walk away. Francis opens with something he does not say lightly. He tells Candace he is proud of her. Not in a way that comes from someone distant, but from someone who has watched her life up close for decades and seen a woman who kept choosing the same thing over and over again. She kept choosing God. And he encourages her — with the warmth of someone who has buried friends and sat with people on their deathbeds — to keep going. The enemy is crafty. The people who fall away are not strangers. They are people who were there. And yet there is a reason Peter said, "Where else would we go?" They talk about heaven, about what the fullness of God actually feels like, and about a man named Alan who is dying as they record the episode. Francis asked if he could FaceTime Alan into a chapel of 1,000 students — and Alan said yes. Watch the episode to catch the whole conversation! Solo Parent - What's Holding You Back and How It's Affecting Your Kids
This week we're discussing What's Holding You Back and How It's Affecting Your Kids. Growth doesn't always announce itself as something you're missing. Sometimes you're functioning, even thriving in some areas, and still carrying patterns that are quietly working against you. Denial, shame spiraling, overcompensating, running to busyness or numbing out. You don't have to be falling apart to need this. You just have to be human. And the way you're handling the hard things right now is already shaping the way your kids will learn to handle theirs. Robert Beeson, Founder and CEO of Solo Parent, and Elizabeth Cole, single parent and co-host, sit down with Amber Fuller, a counselor with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a single parent herself, to name the patterns that quietly keep solo parents from growing. Amber brings both clinical insight and lived experience, speaking not just as a therapist but as someone who has navigated the same hard terrain. Together they get honest about the traps, and the part nobody talks about enough: how those patterns find their way into our kids. Key Insights from This Episode Naming the trap is the most courageous first step. Whether it shows up as denial, shame spiraling, or overcompensating, you cannot grow through something you are not willing to honestly look at. Staying in the river is a learnable skill. Sitting with hard emotions rather than escaping to busyness or apathy is not something you either have or don't; it is something you practice, and it gets easier. Your growth is already teaching your kids something. More is caught than taught, and when you do the work of facing your own struggles honestly, that becomes one of the most powerful things you can model. Unashamed with the Robertson Family - Ep 1323 | Jase Responds to Rising Global Tension with a Biblical Reality Check
Jase, Al, and Zach tackle the growing tension around global conflict by walking through current events and the questions many are asking about Israel, Iran, and biblical prophecy. The guys draw an important distinction between letting faith inform your worldview and using ancient scripture to justify modern warfare without proper context. They explore what the Bible actually says about God’s promises, the identity of Israel, and how those promises are fulfilled. The guys remind listeners that no political leader is the Messiah and that the real power of God is found in the Gospel. Relatable with Allie Beth Stuckey - BONUS | EXCLUSIVE: DOJ Releases a New Report on Anti-Christian Bias | Camille Varone
Allie sits down with Camille Varone, senior counsel at the Department of Justice, to discuss the explosive new revelations from a report by the DOJ Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias. The report exposes how the Biden administration systematically targeted Christians through an overbroad reading of Bostock, weaponization of the FACE Act against pro-lifers, FBI scrutiny of traditional Catholics, and pressure on schools, medical professionals, and faith-based organizations to conform to progressive gender ideology or lose funding. From career bureaucrats pushing “gender-affirming care” with minimal religious exemptions to coordination with abortion NGOs to prosecute pro-life advocates, this conversation reveals deep ideological capture within the federal bureaucracy — and what it means for religious liberty moving forward. Allie and Camille also address the report’s rare acknowledgment of Christian thought’s foundational role in American history, including a direct citation of Allie’s book “You Are Not Enough (and That’s Okay).” Task Force Report on Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias and Restoring Religious Liberty: https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/task-force-publishes-report-eradicating-anti-christian-bias-and-restoring-religious-liberty Share the Arrows 2026 is on October 10 in Dallas, Texas! The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast - What Happens When God Shows Up?
Have you ever felt such overwhelming joy that it surprised you? This week, Candace and Francis Chan talk about what it really looks and feels like to give from overflow, not obligation, and why the difference between those two starting places changes everything. Francis brings personal stories from Uganda, Ethiopia, and a village in Burma. He talks about watching women who had lived in the worst conditions imaginable graduate in caps and gowns, jumping for joy, and what it did to him to be a small part of that. He is honest about the tension too: about the times he has served from insecurity rather than fullness, and about what it means to feel pain deeply while also knowing genuine joy. Listener Cammie asks a real question: what do you do when you want to pursue God but can't find the motivation? Francis and Candace answer with something honest and practical, and a little convicting. What else is here? Some thoughts on fasting from Candace….and yes, Francis wants a role in a Christmas movie! Solo Parent - From Panic to Plan: Thriving as a Solo Parent on a Budget
This week we're discussing From Panic to Plan: Thriving as a Solo Parent on a Budget. For a lot of solo parents, the finances were never really theirs to begin with. Someone else handled it, and then one day that changed completely. No transition, no training, no runway. Just a pile of bills, a household to run, and children depending on every decision you make. Robert Beeson, Founder and CEO of Solo Parent, and Elizabeth Cole, single parent, sit down with Shirley Baldiris, a single mom, Solo Parent community member, and emerging financial coach trained through Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Shirley woke up one morning facing four months of back rent, a home in foreclosure, and debt she didn't know existed. What she built from that starting point, and how she built it, is what this conversation is about. Most financial advice was not designed for the single income, single parent reality. Shirley's approach was. And the practical steps she shares are ones solo parents can actually use. Key Insights from This Episode: Start with your four walls, not your full financial picture. When everything feels urgent, protecting your roof, food, transportation, and utilities first gives you a foundation to build from. Budgeting in small, honest increments builds more than a plan. Starting week by week instead of month by month creates the consistency and self-trust that makes financial stability possible over time. Negotiating with lenders is a skill, and it works more often than you think. Being honest about your situation with landlords, credit card companies, and mortgage lenders can open doors that most solo parents never think to knock on. Shirley closed by saying what every solo parent in a financial crisis needs to hear: you have the intelligence, you have the stamina, and you are absolutely qualified to take hold of this. The panic is not the whole story.
