We have a lot of passions. Many of us love Jesus, but we also love a lot of other things. Hence the dilemma. God doesn't like sharing. We have bred a generation of Christians who want intimacy but are unwilling to pay the cost. You want to be intimate w/ God? Give up all other passions. Salvation is free but intimacy will cost you. It will cost you everything. Consider all earthly gain loss for the sake of the gospel. Intimacy is way more than bible study and prayer. Intimacy is about bearing the burden of God's love for people. Are you ready for that? - Philippians 3:10 | I John 4:8 -

There are several scriptures that instruct us to be holy, to abstain from sexual immorality, to make sure we are not enslaved to anything to not love the world or the things and systems of the world because the world is fading away. But perhaps you’ve wondered, how does one stay holy in a world that’s moving in the opposite direction? More simply: How can a young man or woman keep their lives pure?

Don't go where God hasn't called you, don't do what God hasn't called you to do. Don't stamp the name of Jesus on your own dreams and desires and call it "God-given purpose". Instead, stay where you were called to be and trust that God is there. [1 Corinthians 7:20-24] Therefore beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. – 2 Peter 3:17

Broken crayons still colour the same. The idea that you’re broken doesn’t mean God can’t use you. You appreciate the giver of a gift by making use the gift. What are you doing with the gifts God has given you?

Error is defined in programming as - A mental mistake made by a programmer that may result in a program fault. When a program is faulty, it doesn’t work the way it's supposed to anymore. The spirit of error is the same way. It is a spirit of bondage. It enslaves you to your mistake. It binds you to that false thing that you were pre-occupied with. The spirit of error will keep you in bondage, the spirit of excellence will set you free.

God & Man perceive time differently. You might end up keeping other people in bondage because you didn’t follow God’s timing in fulfilling your life’s call or purpose. Divine timing is essential to purpose. Stop trying to help God to do His work. Rest in His timing.
