This week on BETWEEN THE NOTES, Paisan Kapitan brings together two fascinating Armenian men from completely different worlds: acclaimed writer, artist, playwright and performer VAHE BERBERIAN and successful entrepreneur GEVORK “GEORGE” SUKUNYAN. Vahe opens up about growing up in Beirut, discovering that humor could be his greatest defense, his life as a storyteller, and the health crisis that changed everything. After battling cancer and undergoing 14 surgeries in five years, Vahe found an escape through writing — including the story that would eventually become LETTERS FROM ZAATAR.
