Bryan interviews Rick Snowden who is leading the charge for the discipleship movement happening in his church and slowly spreading.  Rick talks about how The Journey found its way from Nate Sweeney and the Abiding Network to Bryan, TX and how the ministry has impacted him personally.  It’s always good to hear these stories of how God is moving.

Bryan interviews Danny Davis and Richard Gomez, two Journey brothers and Guides from Tulsa who found The Journey as part of a rehabilitation program called, Wings of Freedom.  They talk about the pathway back from incarceration and recovery and how faith in Christ is essential.  But abiding in Christ took them to a new level of enablement and leadership in their lives.  They also talk about the three  professional men who sacrificed their time and comfort zone to bring The Journey to them.

Bryan and Rocky discuss a key principle in the DNA of The Journey Process of “Starting small, going deep and praying big” to continue helping our leaders understand the spiritual dynamic of Jesus’ way of making disciples.  This is what we The Journey is all about and how this ministry has been built from day one.  A must listen, especially for our leaders and guides.

Bryan interviews Rocky, Tom Seay and Boone Baker about Prayer and its importance in the life of an abider, but also, its importance to our ministry.  They talk about what Prayer is and how their thoughts and perspectives had to be re-wired to understand this intimate walk with Jesus through prayer.  They also talked about Global Prayer opportunities open to all.

Bryan interviews Mike Hearne, from Wichita, KS, who not only leads our Region in Kansas, but he also leads our new Prison Ministry team.  Mike talks about the impact The Journey is making in prisons around the country and evolving in other countries as well.  He explains the resources available to Influencers who feel a calling toward bringing The Journey to their local prison or jail and the team’s desire to grow this new branch of Influencers.  And he talks about the clear scriptural mandate to care for inmates.  Listen at your own risk as God may nudge you to help him reach this “forgotten people group.”

Bryan broadcasts from the road in Waterville, Maine as he was visiting the region and joining their weekend Men's Event called MC48... Men of Christ for 48 hours. He talks with Regional Director Andy Collar about his life growing up in Maine, the spiritual climate there and being patient with God's growth and expansion.

Bryan catches up with Sach Oliver, an Influencers leader in Northwest Arkansas, to talk about the Journey Movie update, to recap his leadership talk on Passions, Awesomeness and Needs and to hear the story of how God led him to purchase land north of Arkansas to build a Prayer Retreat Center.  There are many lessons of faith and prayer and leadership in this power-packed podcast.

Bryan and Rocky discuss the importance God places on those who are appointed to be shepherds over His sheep.  This is a high calling which requires the utmost integrity, purity and care.  It is a check for us as leaders within Influencers, even for our Guides.  But as God’s children, we are ALL sheep who have roles as Shepherds, in our families, in our businesses, in our spheres of influence, so this message applies to all of us.

Bryan interviews Dana Martin, from Bakersfield, CA, who talks about how The Journey saved her marriage and how she became one of the first Women’s Journey Guides at her church.  She has become a strong disciple-maker and Journey Guide Mentor and has seen a movement of transformation and multiplication in her church.  Dana talks about lessons learned and how she mentors her ladies into guiding.  She has some great thoughts for all Journey Guides.

Bryan interviews Scott Lawson, Influencers Virtual Journey Director, about his recent health struggle and how this has tested his abiding relationship with Christ.  As we say in The Journey, “Experience Trumps Theory.”  This is an encouragement to anyone who wants to abide with Christ, but is struggling with something out of their control.

Bryan interviews Matthew Landis of Maine, a Gulf War veteran with a difficult past who finds hope and healing in Christ. Listen to this incredible, inspirational story of the power of abiding in Christ.

The last talk from the International Men’s Summit was about answering the call to serve Influencers.  The calling to Jesus, to follow Jesus, to abide in Jesus and to make disciples are all non-negotiable, but there are some who are also called to serve God through Influencers.  Sach Oliver, a trial attorney and leader in Northwest Arkansas, did a great job of challenging the men to find their place of service in ministry. 

On Saturday night of the Men’s International Summit, we had a special celebration of our first 25 years and we had surprise guests.  Bob Brown and Tony Elliott, two members of the original Journey group, were present, joined on stage by Rocky, Mark Sewell, Frank Khalil, Les Pearsey and Bryan Craig as they reminisced some of the early days of the ministry up until now.  It was a beautiful tribute.  Listen and enjoy.

Our Regional Director from Bakersfield, CA, Josh Sherley, did a great talk Saturday night of our Summit, zeroing in on the Target to Making Disciples and what that looks like today and in our ministry.  Many were inspired and many made major commitments to the Lord that night.  Listen and be challenged in your own life.

Tom Seay, our International Director, with the help of some of our International Champions, gave a great presentation on how God is inviting us to the world.  He showed a world map and talked about how many countries have had a Journey participant.  And he emphasized that “We can all be missionaries from our living rooms by using Zoom and Virtual Journey Groups.”  Many men were inspired and you will be too.

We continue to bring the powerful talks presented at our Men’s International Summit in April.  As we discussed Answering the Call, Tony Schaar, Regional leader in Central Coast, CA, fought through illness to take the stage and actually demonstrated abiding strength in the midst of a trial.
