Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - Danger From Within: The Influence of False Teachers
You can measure a quality carpenter by his work. You can discern a skilled administrator by her organization. The product of what they do speaks of who they are. So too, with false teachers. Dr. John instructs us to consider the impact and effect of false teachers. They promise much but leave desctruction and emptiness in their wake. What they produce speaks of who they are. Danger From Within: Jesus spoke of wolves in sheep's clothing. Paul warned of wolves among the flock. Peter alerts the Church of false teachers. It was a danger for the early church. It remains a challenge for today's Church. Listen as Dr. John unfolds 2 Peter for our caution and protection.

Live in the Light Daily Broadcast - A Theology of Comfort (Part 1 of 2)
Today on Live in the Light, pastor Robbie kicks off a new series, working verse by verse through the book of 2 Corinthians. We start with the first 7 verses that remind us that we serve a God of comfort! When we cling to worldly comfort, it restricts us from experiencing the perfect comfort that only the Lord can provide. This does not mean that this life will be free from pain and trials, but in the midst of suffering, the Lord comforts us. It is this suffering that produces endurance in us—and this endurance produces blessings for those around us.

Encounter the Truth - Enduring by Faith (Part 1 of 2)

Live in the Light Daily Broadcast - Never Tire of Being Reminded (Part 1 of 2)
Peter knew his time was short, but instead of panicking or fading quietly into the background, he focused on reminding others of truth. Not new ideas, not novel insights—but the foundational truths of the gospel that they already knew. Why? Because sometimes the greatest spiritual danger isn’t forgetting facts—it’s forgetting to live by them. Pastor Robbie Symons leads us in 2 Peter 1:12-15 on Live in the Light.

Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - No Compromise: The Gospel in the First Testament
The gospel didn't begin at Calvary — it was preached to Abraham four thousand years ago. In this episode, Dr. John takes on the Judaizers' challenge head-on, showing from Galatians 3:6–14 that there has always been only one way to be saved: not by works of the law, but by faith in the promises of a God who never changes. No Compromise: The book of Galatians was written because the gospel was under attack — and it still is today. From false teachers in ancient Galatia to the distortions we encounter in our own time, the battle over the heart of the Christian faith has never stopped. Join Dr. John for this four-part series as he works through one of Scripture's most urgent letters, asking what the true gospel is, where it comes from, and why getting it right changes everything.

Encounter the Truth - Putting on the New (Part 2 of 2)
In Christ, we are brought into a new kind of community—and called into a new way of relating to the people of God. These relationships are shaped by the gospel and enabled by God Himself. In these verses, Paul sets out a framework for healthy and life-giving Christian community. In an age where we see so much dysfunction within churches, here is a model we need to learn and a message we need to hear.

Live in the Light Daily Broadcast - Choose Wisely! (Part 2 of 2)
Jesus calls us to live by the Golden Rule from Matthew 7, treating others with love and respect. We are urged to choose the narrow, challenging path that leads to life, rather than the broad, easy road that leads to destruction. The narrow path is difficult at times, and can be discouraging but as Christ-followers, we persevere, knowing that this is the way to blessing, joy and our eternal reward. Choose wisely with Pastor Robbie on Live in the Light!

Back to the Bible Canada with Dr. John Neufeld - No Compromise: Justification by Faith
Even the greatest apostles weren't immune to hypocrisy. In this episode, Dr. John examines the dramatic public confrontation between Paul and Peter in Galatians 2:11–16. Why did Peter's behaviour at a dinner table become a theological crisis? This message reminds us that justification rests not on what we bring to God — but entirely on what Christ has done for us.No Compromise: The book of Galatians was written because the gospel was under attack — and it still is today. From false teachers in ancient Galatia to the distortions we encounter in our own time, the battle over the heart of the Christian faith has never stopped.
