Pass The Mic - Breaking Through the Surface
This is our final Pass The Mic session for the Buried series. My brother Deron and I sat down one last time to unpack some of the questions, reflections, and moments that surfaced while recording the final podcast episode "Breaking Through the Surface".In true Pass The Mic fashion, there were plenty of nuggets, honest conversations, and a few good laughs along the way. Because even in buried seasons—when life feels hidden, heavy, or uncertain—we can still testify that God is good. Even in the valley, He shelters us, protects us, and grows us in places we didn’t expect.Thank you for journeying through this season with us. We pray these conversations planted something meaningful in your spirit. Stay with us for what’s next—and until then, remember: stay planted.

Breaking Through the Surface
In this final episode of the Buried series, we explore what it means to finally emerge from a hidden season. After months of growth beneath the surface, the breakthrough moment can feel exciting — but it also requires humility, patience, and continued trust in God.This episode reminds us that being buried was never the end of the story. It was preparation. If God planted you, growth is inevitable. This season finale reflects on the lessons learned in the dark, the importance of strong roots, and the faith required to step into whatever God has prepared next.Because sometimes the greatest transformations happen where no one can see them. And when the time is right… you will break through the surface.

Growing Where I Was Left
What happens when life leaves you feeling overlooked, forgotten, or behind? In this episode of the Buried season, we explore the pain of abandonment—missed opportunities, delayed dreams, rejection, and feeling left behind—and how God can still bring growth from those places.Through reflections on Genesis 50:20, Ezekiel’s Valley of Dry Bones, and personal experiences with disappointment and healing, this conversation reframes abandonment as a place where purpose, healing, and transformation can still grow.Because sometimes, the very place you felt left… becomes the place you finally begin to flourish.

Buried With Purpose
What if your delay isn’t denial—but preparation? In this episode of the Buried season, we explore the truth that hidden seasons are often the birthplace of purpose. Through the story of Joseph, with references to the lives of David, Jesus, Daniel and Esther, we unpack how God uses process before position—and how even failure, delay, and uncertainty can become part of your calling. If you’ve ever questioned why your journey feels harder, longer, or more hidden than expected, this episode is a reminder that God wastes nothing. You are not buried to disappear—you are buried with purpose.

Letting Go Under the Weight
In this episode of the Buried season, we explore the hidden weight we carry—grief, control, past hurt, and unmet expectations—and how they impact our growth.Being buried is already a heavy process, but holding onto what God is asking us to release can make the season even harder. This episode dives into the power of surrender, the freedom found in letting go, and the truth that not everything can be carried into the next chapter. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or weighed down, this conversation will help you reflect on what needs to be released so you can grow with greater ease and clarity.Key themes: surrender, healing, identity, control, spiritual growth, and release.

What the Dirt Is Teaching Me
We often see “the dirt” as something negative—messy, uncomfortable, and unwanted. But what if the very place you’re trying to escape… is the place that’s growing you?In this episode of InTenD, we explore how hardship, delay, and buried seasons can become powerful teachers. Through reflections on faith, personal experience, and stories like Ruth and David, this conversation reframes the dirt as a place of development—not defeat. If you’ve been feeling stuck, overlooked, or uncertain about your season, this episode will help you find meaning in it—and remind you that nothing you’re going through is wasted.Because sometimes…the dirt is exactly where you learn what matters most.

Still Growing, Even Here
Growth doesn’t always look like progress. In this episode of InTenD, we explore the quiet, often overlooked kind of growth that happens beneath the surface—during seasons of waiting, stillness, and uncertainty.Drawing from personal reflection, powerful lessons from How to Change and Emotional Intelligence, and the concept of “buried seasons,” this episode reminds us that internal transformation is still real growth—even when there are no visible results yet.If you’ve been feeling stuck, hidden, or unsure if anything is changing… this conversation will ground you in truth and give you hope.Because even here—you are still growing.

Silence, Soil & Trust
In this episode of the Buried series, we reflect on the quiet seasons of life — the moments when prayers seem unanswered and God feels silent.Through the Parable of the Sower and stories from scripture, we explore what it means to trust God while waiting. From Sarah and Abraham to Hannah and Rachel, the Bible reminds us that some promises require patience, faith, and courage.Because seeds don’t grow in noise. They grow in soil. And sometimes the silence is not absence — it’s preparation. If you are in a waiting season, this episode is a reminder that God is still working beneath the surface.

Pass The Mic - Roots Before Fruit
This is another Pass The Mic session connected to the Buried series — a candid sit-down conversation where I’m again joined by my brother Deron at Infinity Studios. In this episode, we go deeper than the original podcast episode Roots Before Fruit, and unpack what it really means to build from the inside out. Because what’s inside of you will always show up on the outside. We talk about:Why foundation matters more than visibilityThe danger of chasing fruit without developing rootsPrivate growth vs public successStaying grounded in a world that rewards appearancesThis is a real, unfiltered conversation — no scripts, just truth.

Pressed in the Dark
Pressure doesn’t always mean something is wrong. In this episode of InTenD, we explore the purpose of life’s pressing seasons. From oil extraction to diamonds and pearls, we reflect on how value is often formed under pressure — and how our posture determines whether we are refined or exhausted. If you’re facing resistance, roadblocks, or a season that feels overwhelming, this episode invites you to consider: Is this pressure punishment… or preparation?Because oil only flows after pressing.

Buried, Not Broken
What if being buried isn’t the end — but the beginning? In this season opener of InTenD, Deidre reframes “buried” as intentional, not final. Through personal reflection, faith, and the story of Joseph, this episode explores how seasons of silence, invisibility, and delay can actually be moments of protection, preparation, and growth. If you’ve ever felt unseen, paused, or left behind — this conversation invites you to consider a different truth: you may not be broken… you may be planted.

The Final Exam
Life has a way of handing us “final exams” — seasons that feel heavier, unfamiliar, and overwhelming. In this episode, we explore what it means to trust God in the middle of the test. You are more prepared than you think — and you are not alone.

Between Loyalty and Letting Go

She reflects on loyalty, endings, the discomfort of transition, and the quiet courage it takes to trust God when nothing feels familiar. Through raw storytelling, scripture, memory, and honest vulnerability, Deidre invites listeners into a conversation about letting go, hearing God in uncertainty, and learning to release what no longer serves the season you’re stepping into.A heartfelt reminder that clarity comes from God, change is inevitable, and peace is found in surrender.

The Potted Palm
In this episode, we talk about those “potted palm” seasons — the tight, uncomfortable, quiet moments where it feels like nothing is growing. But what if God is working beneath the surface? I share a story about a palm tree, a lesson on internal growth, and a reminder that your mindset in a hard season shapes who you become on the other side. Root work is still work. And gratitude is still a choice. Let’s grow together, even here.

Hide and Seek
“Where have you been hiding? And what are you seeking?”In this episode of InTenD, we explore what it means to hide in God — not from Him. Whether you’re in a season of uncertainty, solitude, or quiet transformation, this is a reminder that hiding doesn’t always mean avoiding — sometimes it means God is preparing you, refining you, and reminding you to trust Him above everything else.Through scripture, personal reflection, and a little holiday honesty, Deidre invites you to reclaim peace and reconnect with the One who calls Himself our refuge.Take refuge. Find rest. Seek God.

Summer Break
There seems to be a theme of seasons and changes floating around and I’ve finally caught on. In all the happenings, all the scares, don’t be afraid to embrace the changes and shift your perspective, because through it all, Jehovah remains constant.

Making Soup
It’s Thanksgiving weekend — a time for warmth, gratitude, and a good bowl of soup. But between the stirring and simmering, there’s also reflection. In this episode, I open up about sleepless nights, anxiety, and the comfort that comes from trusting God through it all.

Terrible Twos
Trouble may come in twos and threes, but so does God’s grace. In this episode, we explore how faith carries us through life’s meltdowns, unexpected storms, and changing seasons—reminding us that God is always our refuge and strength.
-
85
The Christening
Yahweh calls us by name. And not just the names given at birth, but the names He Himself has spoken over us: • Friend • Child of God • Righteous • Forgiven • Accepted • Redeemed • Chosen • BelovedYet so often, we forget. We drag ourselves through life as if we don’t have an Advocate, a Redeemer, a Father who has already secured our place as heirs to His promises.
-
84
Baby’s First Steps
Motion begets motion, and momentum feeds upon itself. Maybe it feels unreasonable right now, but the things that pose the hardest challenges are those we’re meant to overcome. Even if you fall a thousand times, keep going.
-
83
A Whole New World
The old knowledge and familiarity we cling to can become shackles that prevent us from stepping into a new season, a whole new world.
-
82
I See the Light
If you're listening to this, maybe you are going through something right now and on the cusp of changing course, I don't know your story or your threshold, but I grew up hearing that God doesn't give us more than we can bear. He has equipped us with the traits, placed destiny helpers on our paths and sent opportunities that will bring us out. Nothing that He permits is made to destroy us, even the tests, trials, and tribulations are made to increase our fatith and help us to level up.
-
81
Part of that World
Everything in between birth and death is life—the midst and middle. We gain, lose, experience, learn, and if we're lucky, unlearn and relearn as we live. When things are good, we're happy with our side of the fence, but during trials, tests, growing pains, and awkward seasons, we start peering over the fence to see what's happening with our neighbors.
-
80
Make a Man Out of You
Instead of trying to fit God into what and where we think He should be, let’s open ourselves up and allow Him to fit us into the mold He created for us and our lives.
-
79
Waiting on a Miracle
There are limits to what we can achieve alone. The mistake we often make is stretching ourselves beyond our limits instead of passing the baton to someone who can handle the mantle.
-
78
At All Cost
Having the confidence that there is One who will stand the test of time with you is incomparable.
-
77
Colors of the Wind
I read somewhere that the basic purpose of Lent is to create space in the middle of life’s responsibilities to appreciate what’s always been there—God’s presence.
-
76
Try Everything
Don’t let the fear of getting it wrong the first time, being a late bloomer, or reaching your goals after others have doubted you hold you back. The goodness of God becomes even more meaningful when you have something to be grateful for.
-
75
Dig a Little Deeper
Confrontation. Who are you? What is inside you? What fruits of the Spirit do you hope to bear? What traits would you like to emulate?
-
74
Where You Are
We can take comfort in knowing that, no matter what challenges arise, nothing can separate us from the One who loves us unconditionally and deeply.
-
73
Into The Unknown
Change is intimidating and demands adjustments that we might not believe we can handle. But, change is often necessary for the future and hope that we aspire to.
-
72
The Bare Necessities
Let’s try to focus on what’s important and place things outside our control in God’s hands.
-
71
Sky Fall
Sometimes downpours can be both blessings and burdens but when the flood ends and you see no one left standing with you, remember that you asked God to remove your enemies and He doesn’t do partial payments. We won’t always understand the assignment but obedience is better than sacrifice.
-
70
Freefall
Our perception matters; sometimes it’s not about what is happening but about how we view and react to it. What is our state of mind? Are we reacting like victors or victims?
-
69
Crestfallen
It’s not in our power to work to become deserving of God’s grace and mercy. But in our “as seen in real life” state, He saw us and chose us. So whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual pain that we have, and or will experience, this isn’t a reflection of God disregard for us. It’s actually more likely the opposite.
-
68
Rainfall
I hope we take a few meaningful moments to reflect on the showers of blessings we sometimes take for granted all year round, and give thanks.
-
67
Infallible
He is an unfailing God with a spotless record, and that is what He brings to the table. If He has brought us to this point, then there is nowhere else we are meant to be. His ways are the highest, His thoughts the clearest, His love the deepest, and His plans the best.
-
66
Befallen
Nothing is new under the sun, as harsh as that may sound. Nothing we go through is unique to any of us. We are the unique element in our situations.
-
65
Downfall
Some experiences may leave us feeling raw, broken, vulnerable, imperfect, and lost. With unwavering faithfulness our Father patiently waits for us, even as we stumble time and again. Our "before and after" comparison will tell its own story.
-
64
Nightfall
Sometimes for our light to shine brightly, we need to be placed not on a hill but in a dark cave or a night sky.
-
63
Falter
Episode 3 delves into what can cause us to stumble. But through it all, only the Almighty sees us in the future, He knows our next and our tomorrow. We may be stumbling through obstacle after obstacle but keep going.
-
62
Slips & Falls
Slip and falls were not designed to be the end of our stories. And fall is not a failure, it’s a lesson to be learnt from. We oftentimes make the mistake of not seeing the lesson in the fall.
