There seems to be a theme of seasons and changes floating around and I’ve finally caught on. In all the happenings, all the scares, don’t be afraid to embrace the changes and shift your perspective, because through it all, Jehovah remains constant.

Yahweh calls us by name. And not just the names given at birth, but the names He Himself has spoken over us: • Friend • Child of God • Righteous • Forgiven • Accepted • Redeemed • Chosen • BelovedYet so often, we forget. We drag ourselves through life as if we don’t have an Advocate, a Redeemer, a Father who has already secured our place as heirs to His promises.

Motion begets motion, and momentum feeds upon itself. Maybe it feels unreasonable right now, but the things that pose the hardest challenges are those we’re meant to overcome. Even if you fall a thousand times, keep going.

The old knowledge and familiarity we cling to can become shackles that prevent us from stepping into a new season, a whole new world.

If you're listening to this, maybe you are going through something right now and on the cusp of changing course, I don't know your story or your threshold, but I grew up hearing that God doesn't give us more than we can bear. He has equipped us with the traits, placed destiny helpers on our paths and sent opportunities that will bring us out. Nothing that He permits is made to destroy us, even the tests, trials, and tribulations are made to increase our fatith and help us to level up.

Everything in between birth and death is life—the midst and middle. We gain, lose, experience, learn, and if we're lucky, unlearn and relearn as we live. When things are good, we're happy with our side of the fence, but during trials, tests, growing pains, and awkward seasons, we start peering over the fence to see what's happening with our neighbors.

Instead of trying to fit God into what and where we think He should be, let’s open ourselves up and allow Him to fit us into the mold He created for us and our lives.

There are limits to what we can achieve alone. The mistake we often make is stretching ourselves beyond our limits instead of passing the baton to someone who can handle the mantle.

Having the confidence that there is One who will stand the test of time with you is incomparable.

I read somewhere that the basic purpose of Lent is to create space in the middle of life’s responsibilities to appreciate what’s always been there—God’s presence.

Don’t let the fear of getting it wrong the first time, being a late bloomer, or reaching your goals after others have doubted you hold you back. The goodness of God becomes even more meaningful when you have something to be grateful for.

Confrontation. Who are you? What is inside you? What fruits of the Spirit do you hope to bear? What traits would you like to emulate?

We can take comfort in knowing that, no matter what challenges arise, nothing can separate us from the One who loves us unconditionally and deeply.

Change is intimidating and demands adjustments that we might not believe we can handle. But, change is often necessary for the future and hope that we aspire to.

Let’s try to focus on what’s important and place things outside our control in God’s hands.

Sometimes downpours can be both blessings and burdens but when the flood ends and you see no one left standing with you, remember that you asked God to remove your enemies and He doesn’t do partial payments. We won’t always understand the assignment but obedience is better than sacrifice.

Our perception matters; sometimes it’s not about what is happening but about how we view and react to it. What is our state of mind? Are we reacting like victors or victims?

It’s not in our power to work to become deserving of God’s grace and mercy. But in our “as seen in real life” state, He saw us and chose us. So whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual pain that we have, and or will experience, this isn’t a reflection of God disregard for us. It’s actually more likely the opposite.

I hope we take a few meaningful moments to reflect on the showers of blessings we sometimes take for granted all year round, and give thanks.

He is an unfailing God with a spotless record, and that is what He brings to the table. If He has brought us to this point, then there is nowhere else we are meant to be. His ways are the highest, His thoughts the clearest, His love the deepest, and His plans the best.

Nothing is new under the sun, as harsh as that may sound. Nothing we go through is unique to any of us. We are the unique element in our situations.

Some experiences may leave us feeling raw, broken, vulnerable, imperfect, and lost. With unwavering faithfulness our Father patiently waits for us, even as we stumble time and again. Our "before and after" comparison will tell its own story.

Sometimes for our light to shine brightly, we need to be placed not on a hill but in a dark cave or a night sky.

Episode 3 delves into what can cause us to stumble. But through it all, only the Almighty sees us in the future, He knows our next and our tomorrow. We may be stumbling through obstacle after obstacle but keep going.

Slip and falls were not designed to be the end of our stories. And fall is not a failure, it’s a lesson to be learnt from. We oftentimes make the mistake of not seeing the lesson in the fall.
