The physical dietary value of bread is well understood, but did you know there is a Better Bread that we should partake? THE Bread OF Life.

A valuable lesson of old reminds us today that there are times where we need to cease going “around and around” and change direction in life. Through God, it is the best direction.

Giving diligence, studying, searching—all before one to know and embrace the teaching from God’s Word—THAT’S why it is important—eternally important.

James wrote, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…” (James 4:8). God is always near, friends, but are we drawing nigh unto Him. Closer to God, the further from the world.

One prefers gladness over sadness. How thankful that times of sadness can be followed by times of gladness. What does the Bible say about gladness and where is it found?

Historians acknowledge the uniqueness of Christ; simple believers acknowledge His greatness…but true followers acknowledge Him as deity and as the Captain of their salvation. Let us look at the Christ as the Creator and the Captain of all.

There are many who cease serving God, who will turn back to the world. If we know the problems, we can address them with solutions—scriptural solutions.

Imagine if every home was guided by the word of God—a place where the scriptures are respected and applied. Would not our homes be as God would have them?

The Hebrews writer stated “…so great a salvation…” and indeed, salvation is great and its study is worthwhile.

The Bible actually warns of certain “faiths” one does not need, thus not only to be warned but to once again be reminded of “one faith” (Eph. 4:5) which is “THE faith” (Jude 3).

Any study with the word “human” within it warrants further thought and critical evaluation for we are made in God’s image. When God rules in the lives of humankind, only then can we become better humans.

From His creation until now, God’s great power is evident. This broadcast looks at His provision unto us through the power of HIS might—the Armor of God.

An account taught by Jesus with so much application for today that humbly reminds us of how valuable life is and our choices will determine our eternal destiny.

It is often said of a man who is well off with good health and good family that he is a “blessed” man. But, that man could be missing the true meaning of being blessed.

A phrase stated multiple times in Zechariah 8 has wonderful application for us today—He says He will dwell, He will save and much more!

Seeking God and His way should be the goal of us all—seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. A worthy pursuit and God provides when we seek.

When the life of our Lord glorified God, that is a life worth looking at so that we may follow Christ and we can magnify God with our lives.

Belief in the final judgment of God—a judgment day to come seems to be wavering somewhat through the years. But God’s word still stands…there will be a judgment day and we need to be prepared.

One can be filled full of spiritual blessings in Christ due to Christ fulfilling the law and all fulfilled about Him. He fulfilled that we may be filled full. Amen!

So many things are provided through the Christ for everyone and this study allows us to focus on two words that summarizes all our needs to be supplied.

Jesus Christ was never an afterthought due to sin, nor was He picked from among others in heaven. The Son in God’s purpose for us! An awesome study!

Can you imagine anyone objecting to mercy by refusing to extend mercy? We may want it, but are we one to grant mercy to others. We look closer at a parable of Jesus about mercy.

Speaking of Christ, “And He is the Head of the body, the church…” What a powerful scripture, yet simple and easy to embrace. Head, Body, Church—beautiful!

If anyone declines mercy, something is wrong. We all need mercy and we need to extend mercy. A special parable of our Lord teaches us the power of mercy.

How thankful for God’s grace unto everyone! Sadly not everyone will accept His grace, but for those that do there is nothing better.

The apostle Paul speaks of God’s goodness and severity (Rom. 11:22). One does not want to think about the wrath and vengeance of God, but we must know His word to avoid His wrath.

How dangerous and quite simply, how bad is sin…how severe it is, but how thankful we are for God’s provisions to address sin through Jesus.

We make choices every day; some good and some not so good. Let’s learn of three Biblical characters and their choices to be reminded of making good choices.

Simple words of Jesus among a powerful storm set forth a pattern for our lives when troubles and problems arise. Let’s “be of good cheer” when Jesus is near.

No doubt everyone needs rest, relaxation and good recreation. What do the scriptures teach and are we in a world of too much recreation that can detour us from the things of God?

An anchor gives security and stability. Oh, the Anchor of the Soul—the hope in Christ keeps one stable in a storm filled world.

The life of young Joseph is an account of ups and downs; mountains and valleys. But God sent him and used him. God can use us through the ONE He sent—Christ.

Of Jesus, “…the people were astonished at His teaching…” and oh, how His teaching impacted the world unlike any other. It was heaven sent and divinely driven.

The words of Jesus from John 9 are a pattern for us to follow today that we may be convicted and compassionate. Oh, what a Savior!

One looks at that question and would probably say “yes.” But as in all questions of salvation let’s see what the Bible says? And, did a certain “good man” think so?

It is good to hear and to listen, but most important is applying what we hear from God. What we hear should drive us to simply be a doer and not a hearer only.

To glory in oneself is never the way to go, but to glory in Christ with HIS provisions—yes! That is the glory we should pursue!

“How beautiful to walk in the steps of the Savior…” beautiful words from an old, blessed hymn. The Apostle Paul walked in the steps of Christ and this broadcast, we “walk” with Paul in Philippi as we join Jeff in the journey.

How thankful we are to live in a time of so many healthy advances in the medical field, but the spiritual field has always had THE Best Physician—the Great Physician.
