A life that began with glory; lived in glory; died in glory and will return in glory—the Savior Jesus Christ. He came FROM glory and may He take us home TO glory.

What a joy to pause and see all that God has provided so ALL may know of His goodness and grace. It is sad many will not accept, but THE message is still out there that the world may know.

When one reacts to the commands of the Lord, one “acts” upon what is said and a clear direction is ahead! Oh what a life of action that presses onward!

Sanctify is a beautiful word that is often defined as “set apart,” but oh it means much more—a greater word that sets us apart for a better life through God and His word.

The prayer of Jesus in John 17 were divine words offered to the Father praising God for divine words given…given to us to learn, to change and to strengthen.

Belief in the final judgment of God; a judgment day to come seems to be wavering somewhat through the years. But God’s word still stands…there will be a judgment day and we need to be prepared.

The gospel is readily defined as “the good news.” It is most tragic when one turns from such good news, THE message that saves.

The Life of Christ—a life that grants life and blessed living to all who obey Him. To partake of His life changes ours always for the good.

The 23rd Psalm is beloved and probably the most popular of all Psalms. While it may comfort many, that doesn’t mean the same are convicted, unless the are sheep of HIS pasture.

When one looks at life’s choices—either for God or against God, the reasons to serve God always stand out.

In the apostle Paul’s journeys, he saw people who called the Almighty “unknown” and worshipped Him ignorantly. How tragic when one misses worshipping and serving the TRUE God.

To pursue the mind of Christ is a wonderful pursuit. Imagine if the world had the mind of Christ—it would be a better place, indeed. The mind of Christ reflects, responds, and rewards.

There is only ONE gospel that matters—the gospel of Jesus Christ—the good news to man. The wonderful book of Galatians grants warning of imitations—let us beware.

Have you ever considered that one’s life is a journey—each day we live, we continue the journey of life. One day, our journey will continue—but not here, friends. Where will it continue?

God is everlasting and eternal—we can always depend on God. Our goods, on the other hand, will not last, they wear out or we look for something better. There is no question in WHOM we should trust.

We can profit from the words of enemy #1—that is why they are recorded in scripture. Examining the sayings of Satan teaches us who and what to avoid in spiritual warfare.

The tongue is indeed a challenge, is it not friends? Oh how we wish we could take things back or thought more before we spoke. The scriptures are sufficient to help us in this area—and area that we all need help.

On the surface this question might prompt one to think why ask such a question? But it is a worthy study and one in which we are called on to “rightly divide the word of truth.” Let’s engage this study as with every study, and open mind, an open heart and an open Bible.

We can track deliveries of things we order; how wonderful we can “track” and seek the word of God and see how we can be delivered from sin through Christ!

Concerning one’s salvation in Christ and only Christ, Acts 4:12 says it all, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Travel has greatly improved with the invention of the GPS and directions are at our fingertips. But in life’s travels, we still need direction and we need to heed to “road signs” along the way for a safe arrival.

God’s grace is given to a world that needs it; those obedient to His will embrace that grace and all that God grants unto them according to HIS will.

Examining three texts from the gospel of John gives one insight as to why one will not obey the greatest word given by the greatest and only God for the greatest life.

Jesus IS amazing, called by one scholar of scripture, “The Marvel of all ages!” Let’s listen attentively that we may stand amazed of Christ and apply Him in our lives.

The book of Galatians shows the greatness of Christ in the life of its author, the apostle Paul as well as its impact to the church scattered through Galatians. As the book begins, one clearly see the power of Christ.

A number of questions are asked about the salvation of man through Christ Jesus. Some sincere, some not so sincere, but any question of salvation deserves a Biblical answer.

“One step at a time.” “First things first.” There are a number of statements that instruct us of taking that first step, then the next. How wonderful that God instructs us the beauty of beginning and pressing onward.

No matter how wicked and immoral this world becomes, when our morality is subject to Christ, things are better and direction is clearer.

God has always presented to man the best way to walk and to live. No doubt His way is the best way to travel—THE map of holy living.

The world’s biggest liar is not walking physically but is among us known as the “god of this world” (2 Cor. 4:4). Let’s be aware and avoid this liar through the truth that is in Christ.

Just the sound of the word “mercy” is a blessing to one receiving it and one giving it (because they need mercy). Let’s consider this great word.

The book of Jude speaks of the common salvation—once for all and always for all—that’s awesome! It is for everyone—worldwide!

The book of Jude is brief, but as is all the word of God, it is powerful especially concerning salvation…salvation that is wonderful and worthy.

Acts 17:30 affirms there were times of ignorance God overlooked but commands all men everywhere to repent—that’s enough…we best avoid ignorance.

A textual study of a wonderful book between two brothers in the Lord over a third brother that, well, he could be a challenge within the relationship. It is a beautiful account to see the plea and the praise leading unto the parting unto.

Oh, to know the Savior, “…the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him…” Let’s begin a study on obedience by seeing what is not true obedience.

To glean is to gather slowly and a little at a time. Let’s glean just a couple of great texts — a gathering awaits for the listener.

A study of James 1 shows what happens when one looks toward sin and the power of sin and its effect. Let’s see the danger signs.

Many people aim to obtain fame or riches, but we know one’s name or reputation is more valuable. When people hear your name, what would they think?

The scriptures declare we are made in the image of God. Thus let us follow God and allow others to see God in us. A great study from Philippians reflects how we can express God’s image in us.

In a day of compromise and concession on a number of things, the thought of there being only “One Way to Live,” is offensive to some. But obedience to Christ is THE only way according to the scripture.

The mere sound of the word “discipline” may bring thoughts of inflicting punishment but never underestimate its necessity to improve performance. It’s not such a bad word.

There are things that we must move out of our lives — we clean out this place or that place, but more so spiritually we need to move some old things out—after all, the new IS better.
