My oldest has gone through many different hyper-fixations when it comes to her childhood.. like eating chicken nuggets for 6 years but no one prepares you when the hyper fixations finally come to an end. My oldest feel in love with Sonic the hedgehog at age 3 and ever since we have been dedicated loyal fans obsessing over everything, we can get our hands on and watch for the last 4 years. Now that she is becoming older and maturing, she finally sat us down and told us it was time to let sonic go. It teaches us boundaries and how to share. When we grow older friendships make us realize there are others out there with similar commonalities.  As teens friendships are were we stop seeking validation from home and find it in others. It's made me look at her in a different way. It's explained why she has made choices in her life that have put her in the position she is in now. I hate that life has been so up and down to the point this podcast has had to be on the back burner a bit in order for life to get back on track. This year we has summer in the south, then moved down here, found an amazing team of CF doctors, spent almost 8 months apart from my husband, transitioned and on top of it all my husband has been going through his own shadows all while building his business from the ground up again. To say it's been a lot is an understatement, and I hate to disappoint so many people who listen in. Send us Fan MailLast year over the holiday's I had to learn I couldn't be the savior the "Go to person" this episode was prerecorded and with the death of my grandma I just couldn't bare to edit this one for a while. To have to choose my daughters health over seeing my grandma kills me to this day. I have such regret, but I know it's what we had to do. I am just grateful that I had an understanding support system and honestly god has his own plans. I ended up being there for my dad when he needed it the most when she passed. Send us Fan Mail2024 has been tough one between pregnancy, finding out our little one has cystic fibrosis, moving/selling a home that ended up not happening and now the passing of our 2nd fur baby Rocky.This episode I share how rocky was more of a familiar rather than just any plan old pet. I talk about how I explained grief and death to my 6 year old and how we are processing his death along with our 1st fur baby Jack our first cat. Seems like this year is bringing death and closing out many old patterns. Not only did our car shit the bed but my husband's grandma his dads mom passed away.
