Abiding not sinning! This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine! Shine with Michael and I and a very special guest Scott Geiger. Scott joined me in studio to talk about how the Podcast has led him to a Mentoring Sacred Arts journey to Christ. Scott and I go back 42 years and it is so wonderful to discuss Christ together. Quite a change from our teen days!

Carlo Walth's Abiding guide teaches us that to no matter what, come to Jesus NOW. Now is the right time. Cast aside embarrassments of sin and come to him now. Andrew Murray explored these concepts well over a 100 years ago and now Carlo makes them simple for the rest of us. 

Let's dig into the slight differences of discussing Abiding Moment by Moment and Abiding Day by Day. Why is day by day important when you are Abiding moment by moment? We see in Exodus chapter 16 the importance of our daily bread.  The Holy Spirit gives us enough strength to Abide in him for a day if we ask for it and believe it, just as God served the Israelites enough bread, or manna, for a day. Carlo Walth's Abiding guide simplifies it for us and we at J4D love it! Enjoy your daily bread!

Abiding Every Moment is a lofty yet attainable goal with the Holy Spirit's help and only with his help. How many times have we "tried harder" only to fall short. Maybe choose a different path and rest in the arms of Jesus. Let him drive the car, be humble not just to God but to man, be patient to God and man, and maybe stop talking so much and listen for God and man. Abiding is not a burden it is a joy. The result is Abiding in Christ. The original message was "Follow me" until transformation time and then it becomes "Abide in me"! When you are too weary to go on and have blistered feet, then Surrender to Christ!

Today Michael and I discuss the Abiding Guide ideas of spiritual romance and an Abiding Invitation from Jesus. How is it that we get so excited and willing to sacrifice so much for a new relationship with a romantic partner or just a great friend, but with Jesus we hold back to a very limited time during the week and one in which our minds may wonder to different things? Humbling Jesus - Let's look at the life of Jesus Christ in Carlo Walth’s Humbling Guide and admire the Humility Jesus showed to the Father and also, often forgotten, his example to be humble to all mankind.

We are super excited to welcome an icon in grassroots constitutional activism, and fellow brother in our SHAWL journey, Mark Meckler to our podcast! He was a co-founder of the Tea Party Movement as well as the current Convention of States Action. Their leadership is so visionary that they offer a free faith based Mentoring Sacred Arts journey to those that are interested. That is rare in any organization and a testament to his character and leadership!

The Humility of Christ by example is revealed today. I had to deprogram a lot of what I had learned in life about being proud of things as I learned what God wants from us.
