Walking With God Through Alignment, Surrender & Life Seasons — Dr, Esther Longe

Send us Fan MailWhat does it look like to genuinely walk with God when life is busy, plans change and the season you're in doesn't make sense? Jola sits down with Esther Longe for an honest conversation about alignment with God, intimacy, vulnerability, the walls we build to protect ourselves, consistency, surrender, calling and recognising the season God has placed us in. Esther shares lessons from her own journey and reminds us that God doesn't waste anything — even the experiences we thought had nothing to do with where He was taking us. A conversation about growing with God, trusting His direction and allowing every season to do its work in us. What might God be asking you to learn in your current season?#jolaspeaks @jolaspeaks #christianpodcast #dailydevotion #spiritualgrowth

Guard What You Built: Staying Watchful After Success

Send us Fan MailYou worked hard to build it. You prayed for it, fought for it, and stayed faithful through the opposition. But what happens after the work is finally done? In Nehemiah 13:4–9, Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem and discovered that Tobiah—someone who had previously opposed the work—had gained access to a room in the house of God through his alliance with Eliashib the priest. The wall had been rebuilt. The work had been completed. But the need for vigilance had not ended. In this episode of Jola Speaks, Jola explores how victory can sometimes make us less alert, why the people around us and those in positions of influence matter, and why we must continue to pray, discern and make wise decisions even after the breakthrough. If you've built a business, ministry, team, family or anything connected to God's purpose, this episode is a reminder: Don't just build well. Guard what you've built. 📖 Scripture: Nehemiah 13:4–9#jolaspeaks @jolaspeaks #christianpodcast #dailydevotion #spiritualgrowth

When Doing the Right Thing Is Hard | Christian Leadership & Biblical Courage

Send us Fan MailWhat do you do when you know something is wrong, but changing it could upset people? In Nehemiah 13, Nehemiah returns to Jerusalem and discovers that something has been allowed to happen that goes against God's instructions. His response is decisive: he removes what should not be there and restores the space to its intended purpose. But this isn't only a lesson about Nehemiah. It raises a difficult question for all of us: Is there something under your authority that needs to change? At work, in leadership, in business, in parenting or in our everyday relationships, we can sometimes mistake being nice for being loving. But there are moments when love requires courage, firmness and decisive action. In this episode of Jola Speaks, we explore what Nehemiah teaches us about Christian leadership, authority, correction, courage and doing what is right even when it ruffles feathers. If God has entrusted something to your care, what might He be asking you to put back in order? Watch and listen to “When Doing the Right Thing Is Hard” and grow with God.#jolaspeaks @jolaspeaks #christianpodcast #dailydevotion #spiritualgrowth

When obedience to God feels impossible

Send us Fan MailWhat do you do when God asks you to obey, but obedience feels impossible? There are moments when you know what God is asking of you, but everything in you wants to say, “Lord, this is hard.” In this episode of Jola Speaks, we continue our journey through Nehemiah and explore what happens when obedience feels impossible. Looking at Nehemiah 13, Jola reflects on how worship preceded an act of difficult obedience. She shares how worship can bring surrender, shift our focus away from the size of the task, and help us look again at the God who gave the instruction. If you've ever struggled to obey God because the next step felt uncomfortable, inconvenient, illogical or simply too hard, this conversation is for you. In this episode, you'll reflect on:  Why obedience can feel so difficult  How worship leads us toward surrender  Why our focus matters when God asks us to do something difficult  What happens when we stop focusing on the task and look back to God  How faith and obedience apply to everyday life This is part of our ongoing study through the Book of Nehemiah, as we learn what it means to grow with God and live out our faith in real life. What If What Happened to You Isn't the Final Word? | God Has the Final Say

Send us Fan MailWhat if the thing you're afraid of, the situation you cannot control, or even what someone has planned against you isn't the final word? In this episode of Jola Speaks, we continue through the book of Nehemiah and reflect on Nehemiah 13:1–3, where Scripture reminds us that God can turn what was intended as a curse into a blessing. Jola explores what it means to trust God's authority when circumstances feel overwhelming, people oppose us, or we are tempted to focus more on what has been said or done than on what God has said. This conversation is ultimately about trusting God, standing on His Word, and refusing to allow fear or circumstances to have the final word over your life. You'll be encouraged to: • Stop allowing circumstances to define what you believe is possible. • Take fear and uncertainty back to God in prayer. • Stand firmly on God's Word. • Remember God's faithfulness in previous situations. • Trust God to work even when you cannot yet see what He is doing. If you're navigating opposition, uncertainty, disappointment, or a situation that feels impossible, this episode is a reminder: God is God. His instructions may sometimes challenge our logic, comfort, relationships, plans, or expectations—but obedience aligns us with His will and purpose. Jola also explores a difficult reality: sometimes we obey God and don't immediately see the result. Does that mean we made the wrong decision? Not necessarily. This episode is an encouragement to trust God even when you don't understand the full picture, and to take the first step He is asking you to take. #jolaspeaks @jolaspeaks #christianpodcast #dailydevotion #spiritualgrowth

Send us Fan MailWhy is obeying God so difficult when His instructions don't make sense? In this episode of Jola Speaks, we explore obedience through Nehemiah 13 and the uncomfortable reality that God's instructions will not always fit our plans, timing, comfort, or reasoning. The people in Nehemiah 13 heard the Word and acted. Prayer

Send us Fan MailPrayer | Jola Speaks Podcast From Mark 14:32-41, we witness one of the most powerful moments in Scripture, the Son of God, vulnerable and honest, modeling what it means to surrender through prayer. Even in the face of betrayal, suffering, and the weight of the cross, Jesus prayed, “Not My will, but Yours be done.”This episode reminds us that prayer is not just a routine, it’s our direct lifeline to the Father. In times of distress, confusion, or uncertainty, prayer anchors us in purpose and peace. Gethsemane teaches us that while others may sleep, we must remain awake in the spirit, pressing in through prayer, especially in our toughest seasons.Whether you're in your own “garden” moment or walking through calm waters, this message will stir your heart, deepen your perspective, and challenge you to prioritize intentional prayer, just as Jesus did. Prayer doesn’t always change the situation, but it will always change you.Watch now, be encouraged, and let your heart be stirred this Easter.🔔 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more faith-building content every week on Jola Speaks!#jolaspeaks #eastermessage #powerofprayer #christiancontentcreator  #gethsemane #jesusprayed #faithinspiration #resurrectionweek #easterreflection #trustgod #prayerworks #kingdomfocus #spiritualgrowth#jolaspeaks @jolaspeaks #christianpodcast #dailydevotion #spiritualgrowth
