She has held leadership roles at Creative Commons, First Tee Monterey County, and Hartnell College, leading impactful initiatives on local, national, and global levels. She founded the Latina Professionals CA Central Valley Chapter in 2023 and serves on the national board, empowering Latina leaders. Committed to civic engagement, Isaura is on the executive committee of Democratic Women of Monterey County, advocating for women’s representation. Living in Salinas with her husband and two daughters, she continues to inspire others through her work, heritage, and belief that dreams are meant to be pursued.

    Jacob Martinez

    In 2014, Jacob established Digital NEST, which is a technology workforce development hub that offers high-demand technology skills, mentoring, and hands-on experience to Latino youth living in under-resourced rural communities, enabling them to secure well-paying jobs. The idea for the NEST came to Jacob when he saw a young college student doing homework on her laptop on a cold night because she lacked internet access at home. This experience inspired Jacob to provide the brilliant young minds in his community with better opportunities to achieve their goals.

    Connor Sablan

    Connor Sablan is a Chamorro jazz pianist born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam. Chamorro refers to the indigenous people of this tropical Mariana’s Island. Guam is a United States territory, so Sablan was born a U.S. citizen. Connor learned piano at the age of seven and played throughout his childhood. During high school he became more passionate about writing music and singing with influences such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Connor moved to the Bay Area in 2014 to attend college. Here he fell in love with the history of the area, specifically the counter-culture revolution of the 1960’s and all the music of that era. Sablan became a huge rock fan. Among his favorite bands are The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, The Zombies, The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin and many others. It was during his time at the College of San Mateo that he fell in love with Jazz. Connor started going to the jam sessions in San Francisco which turned out to be the catalyst for his career in jazz piano. He started writing jazz music the minute he could get the chords under his fingers.

    Fury Figeroa

    Fury Figeroa, also known as The Original Fury is an American recording artist & producer from Northern California. Born in 1981 in San Francisco, Fury is well known for his music with X-Factor alumni Chris Rene, and many other Bay Area rap pioneers. In 2005 he released his critically acclaimed debut album “Ferocious”, which trademarked his aggressive rap style. The discography of Fury Figeroa consists of four solo albums, and several collaboration projects.As a Producer Fury has worked with artists such as Brotha Lynch Hung, Marvaless, Numskull, Mistah Fab, Key Loom, S.B. Baby Cougnut, Young Droop, Guce, Tito B, Tokzstero, Bleezo, Sav Sicc, T-Nutty, Bishop and Deeboi. Always one to push boundaries, in 2019 Fury picked up a bass guitar and linked with collaborator Scorpz the Venom to form a roots-rock group named Stress Nada. More recently he produced an entire gospel album for a Christian rap artist and has also scored some theme music for films and television. Fury Figeroa is currently working on his next official solo album, and staying true to his grassroots will leave hardcore fans more than satisfied.

    Dr. Paige Viren

    Dr. Paige P. Viren is an accomplished leader in the field of sustainable tourism and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Sustainable Hospitality & Tourism Management Program in the College of Business at California State University, Monterey Bay. With over 16 years of experience in tourism research, Dr. Viren’s expertise spans consumer behavior, adventure travel, and sustainable community-based tourism. Her contributions to the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) helped shape the definition of adventure travel, and she has collaborated with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) to develop global climate action strategies in tourism.In addition to her academic leadership, Dr. Viren serves as the Chair of the Sustainability & Stewardship Committee for the California Travel Association (CalTravel), where she works closely with industry stakeholders to advance sustainable tourism practices across California. Her focus on building connections between academia and industry is central to her work, creating pathways for education, sustainability, and responsible tourism.Dr. Viren holds a Ph.D. in Park, Recreation & Tourism Resources from Michigan State University and previously held faculty and leadership positions at San Francisco State University and East Carolina University. She is also an official GSTC Trainer with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council and a recognized speaker on sustainable tourism practices worldwide.

    Dan Arroyo, Dub Souljah

    Dub Souljah is a Reggae/HipHop Band from the The Central Coast California. Their blend of Roots Rock and Hip Hop/Rap make for a soulfully conscious message of Truth, Rights, and Justice. As a solo act, Dub Souljah started performing at open Mics and worked his way up to hosting the open mics. In 2019 he recruited Sean Mcgill on lead guitar, Chris Carothers on drums,  Sweesly Maak on Keys and in 2024 Sophie Schoep Joined on bass . As a 5 piece they have performed throughout the central coast opening for acts such as The Expendables, Junior Reid, The Rudians, Pacific Roots, Rise Up and Marlon Asher, Arise Roots, Jordan T and Lutan Fyah. Lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Dub Souljah is continuously working in the studio and released his debut album "After Everything" in May 2023, and various singles and features in 2024 with plans to releasea new round of singles and an album in 2025.
