The original Commission.o Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV).... (Verse by verse)3. Dominion - 7287. רָדָה rāḏāh: meaning to rule, to have dominion, to subjugate. It is related as the exercise of authority by the priesthood – Theologically significant is the use of this word to identify people’s God-ordained relationship to the created world around them.4. Subjugate = Conquer, Overpower, Overcome, Defeat, Crush, Subdue.5. Subdue – 3533. כָּבַשׁ kāḇaš: meaning to subdue, to bring into subjection, to enslave, to overcome. It is used to describe God’s mandate to humans to subdue the created order.6. N.T. Greek Word for Kingdom - 932. βασιλεία basileía; Royal dominion.7. Hebrew/Aramaic square script - מַלְכוּתָא (malkūṯā) reign, rule, sovereignty, kingdom.
