Keepin' It Real

Choosing faith instead of surrendering to fear is easier said than done but yields so many results in the long run. It's something every follower of Christ faces in their journey. In this video I will speak on the importance of leaning into God, choosing faith and how fear can be used as a stepping stone to go further in life. Don't allow fear to define you nor limit. Look unto God and lean into the great power He carries (1 Chronicles 16:11).

It’s not just a question—it’s a mirror. “Are you actually taking God serious?” challenges you to pause and reflect on whether yout faith is lived out authentically or merely spoken. It cuts through routine and asks: Is your devotion more than words? Does it shape your choices, your values, your daily actions? This phrase is a wake-up call, a reminder that reverence isn’t passive—it’s active, intentional, and transformative.

I want to have a vulnerable and honest conversation. I’ve been away for a while, and that time has been spent recognizing just how important it is to pause, breathe, and reconnect with God. I can’t pour into others when I’m running on empty.Stepping back reminded me that God is the true source of strength, peace, and clarity. No matter how much I try to push through on my own, I’m never truly sustained unless I go back to Him. It’s in His presence that I find rest, realignment, and the grace I need to keep moving. So this season has been about learning to return to the source—not just once, but continuously—so that I’m pouring from overflow, not exhaustion.

What are you preparing yourself to achieve with school? Results beats discrimination. Results will always speak. Make sure no matter what, your grades are up and speaking for you. Not all schools are the same. If the issue is the school of the teacher, change school. As long as you’re willing to learn, teachers will be willing to teach. Not all teachers are the same. There are dedicated teachers but they have to see your motivation. Not everything has to perfect before you get results. It is through mindset. If you’re willing, you can do it. Language should not be a barrier. Your willingness will make a way. When you have the opportunity, reduce your time in social media. If you’re on social media, use it for the purpose of educating yourself online. Try to understand the system you’re in, so you can make the right choices. Check where the course is leading you to. Seek advice outside school. Parents, get involved in the education of your children. Know the capacity of your child, so you’ll not blindly follow the advice of school. Fight for your children. Parents, don’t become a nuisance to the school. KNOW your children! So you can coach them. Don’t stay idle, seek advice. Don’t depend on the school system. Not all schools are the same or have the right counselling. If a student is motivated, it’s easy to teach them. How prepared are you as a student and how serious are the parents? Get the right information and ask questions. Be knowledgeable! Bring out the best version of yourself. Don’t let anybody speak down on you. Pick up what you can do. Get the diploma, you can upgrade as you go. Parents, fight for your children and know them. The foundation is important. Parents, know everything about your children.
