Keeping It Real: Kingdom Conversations with Chris Barhorst, Kevin Bryant, Stefani Jebavy and Jon Jebavy
by Chris Barhorst, Jon Jebavy, Stefani Jebavy, and Kevin Bryant
We wanted to give others a chance to listen in on three friends who love Jesus talking about the word and truth. Each week we will release an entire conversation that is about an hour and a half. Every conversation will be three parts and be around thirty minutes each episode. Every Monday will be part 1, Wednesday part 2 and Friday part 3, and every week is a different conversation. We pray you find hope in every episode as we discuss different topics. These conversations may challenge you or encourage you. Always ask the Father about what you hear and let Him confirm His truth to you; never take what anyone says as truth without confirmation from Holy Spirit. We hope you are blessed by these podcasts!

Broken or Bitter (Part 3 of 3)
Email us: [email protected] "broken for the Lord" signifies a state of spiritual humility, surrender, and repentance, where a person lets go of pride, control, and self-sufficiency to fully depend on God. It is the process of allowing God to take the broken pieces of life—often resulting from sin, pain, or failure—and reshaping them into a vessel for His glory.Definition & Purpose: It is not necessarily about emotional sadness, but a "broken and contrite heart" that God does not despise, according to Psalm 51:17 .The Beauty in Brokenness: While painful, this state brings believers closer to God and allows His strength to work through their weaknesses, as highlighted by 2 Corinthians 12:9.God’s Use of Broken Things: God uses brokenness to transform individuals, taking what is considered worthless or destroyed and making it useful for His kingdom.Surrender and Restoration: It involves acknowledging one's inability to live righteously on their own,, leading to a deeper, surrendered life in ChristSupport the [email protected]

Universalism/Inclusionism (Part 2 of 2)
Email us: [email protected] is the theological and philosophical belief that all human beings will ultimately be saved and reconciled with God, rejecting the concept of eternal hell. Core beliefs emphasize a loving, benevolent Creator whose purpose for creation cannot fail, often focusing on God's love as the supreme attribute. It posits that salvation is universal, either through Jesus (Christian Universalism) or through a broader, often post-mortem, purification process. Support the [email protected]

Offence (Part 3 of 3)
Email us: [email protected] offended can lead to chronic anger, resentment, damaged relationships, and a persistent "victim mentality". It often triggers emotional distress such as humiliation, sadness, and anxiety, while fostering personal insecurity and paranoia. Unmanaged, it can cause withdrawal from social connection and even lead to destructive, unhealthy coping behaviors. Relationship Breakdown: Constantly taking offense creates distance, fosters distrust, and causes resentment, destroying both personal and professional relationships.Emotional & Mental Toll: It often triggers a "shame spiral," causing feelings of worthlessness, depression, and social anxiety. It is frequently linked to a "victim mentality," where one feels powerless and stuck.Physiological & Behavioral Impact: Chronic offense can lead to physical stress, rage, and the adoption of addictive behaviors, such as alcohol, social media misuse, or over-eating, to cope with the anger.Reduced Quality of Life: Being easily offended causes people to focus on negative emotions and perceive threats everywhere, leading to a miserable, lonely life.Support the [email protected]

Be Separate (Part 3 of 3)
Email us: [email protected] can we do when we really are sanctified? One day, while worshiping God with her guitar in front of a western-style restaurant and pub, Carol had the opportunity to minister to a self-professing atheist. After listening to his story, Carol began to share hers. Then, picking up her guitar, she sang “My Chains Are Gone” and marveled as tears began streaming down his face. “You make me want what you have,” he told her.Carol’s willingness to abandon formulas and develop a dynamic relationship with God brought her into contact with a Buddhist radio host. After hearing part of her story, he asked Carol to be a guest on his broadcast to “bring hope” to others in Hong Kong. Thousands of people tuned in and heard about the unconditional love and grace of God!Support the [email protected]

Praying In The Spirit (Part 3 of 3)
Email us: [email protected] every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened… If ye…know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?Luke 11:10,13All you have to do is ask, believe, and receive! Pray, Father, I recognize my need for Your power to live this new life. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit. By faith, I receive it right now! Thank You for baptizing me. Holy Spirit, You are welcome in my life.Congratulations! The Lord promised that He would give the Holy Spirit to all who asked Him in faith (Luke 11:10-13). If you believe His promise, you’re filled with God’s supernatural power! Some syllables from a language you don’t recognize will rise up from your heart to your mouth. (See 1 Cor. 14:14.) As you speak them out loud by faith, you’re releasing God’s power from within and building yourself up in the spirit (1 Cor. 14:4). You can do this whenever and wherever you like!It doesn’t really matter whether you felt anything or not when you prayed to receive the Lord and His Spirit. If you believed in your heart that you received, then God’s Word promises you did. “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24). God always honors His Word; believe it!Please call our Helpline for individual prayer and to receive some free materials we have just for those of you who have prayed to receive Jesus as your Savior and/or to receive this baptism of the Holy Spirit. You Have Power (Part 3 of 3)
Email us: [email protected] Based on James 4:6-7, submitting one's authority to God and humbling oneself results in receiving greater grace. This spiritual principle, often cited as "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble," implies that surrendering personal control allows God to provide undeserved favor and strength to resist temptation. ABOUT THIS SHOW
We wanted to give others a chance to listen in on three friends who love Jesus talking about the word and truth.
