Summary-Upholding the Sacred Rites and Symbols of Allah-The Khateeb emphasized the importance of honoring and upholding the sacred rites and symbols of Allah, including the Five Pillars of Islam.He stressed the need to honor and respect these rites, and to maintain them in daily practice. He as well clarified that the masaajid are from these sacred rites and encouraged the congregation to strive to build and establish the houses of Allah in the neighborhoods, keeping them clean and in good condition and free from shirk and innovation. He also warned against the dangers of innovation and deviation from the true path of Islam.He also reminded them of the importance of sincerity in their faith and the need to avoid the worship of graves and other false practices.Preserving the Sanctity of Houses of Allah-The Khateeb discussed the purpose of the houses of Allah, emphasizing that they are not meant for business, politics, or worldly announcement not related to the Deen and immediate affairs of the madjid. He stressed that these spaces are built for the remembrance of Allah, the establishment of Salah, and the upholding of the Deen.He condemned the misuse of these spaces for worldly affairs, such as playing games or listening to music, and urged for a return to the original purpose of these spaces. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation in maintaining the sanctity of these spaces and the need for gentleness and kindness when addressing any issues that arise.May Allah grant you success.
