I had the privilege of attending and speaking at the Faith Over Fear Business Summit, which proved to be an extraordinary experience. The summit united faith-based entrepreneurs who kindly shared their stories of triumphing over obstacles and attaining success. The speakers, who enthusiastically urged us to trust in God and take daring strides in our businesses, were particularly inspiring. Moreover, the networking prospects were wonderful, and I formed several valuable connections. In conclusion, the summit was transformative and left me feeling empowered and motivated to elevate my business to new heights.

I was encouraged to do a 7-day water fast for two primary reasons. One, seek a deeper connection with God; two, shield my family, businesses, and finances from the enemy’s schemes. Here’s what I learn from this fantastic experience. 1. Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Going days without food causes you to seek God in ways you can’t imagine. Depending on him as my source of nourishment and comfort was key. 2. Toxic Diet: I believed my diet was well-balanced before my fast. However, when fast food becomes a regular part of your focus. Over the past 6-months, I’ve faithfully worked out three days a week at 5 am with my trainer and 2 days independently. My weight-loss results were poor. The fast caused me to research and educate myself on what a clean diet looks like. Fast forward, we cleaned our pantry and kitchen (donated the food) and replaced those items with Whole Foods and organic items. 3. Gallon A Day: I use to be very challenging to accomplish a gallon per day. I’ve failed continuously to reach that goal. During the fast, water is your friend, and we often hang out. I consumed up to a gallon and a half per day. 4. The Power of Prayer: When hunger strikes, you must go to God for comfort to suppress the urge. Gratitude for what you have, especially seeing food in your home, changed my outlook on how much I’ve taken for granted. 5. Rely on God: you become so focused on seeking and hearing Holy Spirit. Purging toxins and denying our Flesh causes us to become excellent active listeners. When He gives you instructions, please take action immediately, regardless of how you feel. 6. Slow Down: Rest was essential during this 7-day fast. Obedience is a virtue of life, and this fast will help support your efforts in those areas. 7. Renewed Outlook: My spirit and box feel amazing. My relationship with God has increased, blessings have already been unlocked, I’ve lost 17 lbs, and I feel incredible. The power this experience has given me is unmated.
