Priest & Levite Responsibility - Laws of Purification
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of god, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." - 1 Peter 2:9-10In this episode, we learn about the duties of the priests and the Levites concerning their responsibilities as servants who continually minister to God on behalf of the people. The priests had a huge responsibility and with it came accountability. There was no room for error because they are separated unto God for the purposes of sin atonement on behalf of the Israelites. Thank God for Jesus Christ who became the ultimate sacrifice for us; we now have access to God the Father through the Son! We don't have to go through a veil for it has been torn. Instead of goats, sheep, rams and birds, we offer ourselves to the Lord as a living sacrifice!Romans 12:1 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."Thank you for your support! I pray this encourages you to embark on the journey of Knowing God through His word in Jesus' name!Amen!

The Rebellion Continues - God's Wrath
Contending with God is the biggest mistake a human can ever make, but the Kohathites from the Tribe of Levi thought their plans to bring Moses and Aaron down would work - it only led to their utter destruction. As a body of Christ, it is so important to maintain order and organization and respect the leaders that have been put in positions to shepherd you. Especially if you have witnessed the Hand of God move through the appointed leader. I pray this week's episode convicts your heart and reminds you to stop complaining and to start praising!Thank you for your support! God bless you!

A Rebellious People - Laws For Canaan
Isn't it quite annoying when someone you help is always complaining and never grateful despite everything you've done for them? No matter what you do for them, they find a way to complain and would go as far as dragging your name in the mud to make you look bad? Well, that was the behavior of the Israelites again!!They finally got report of the land flowing with milk and honey is indeed enriched, yet the fear of the inhabitants of the land scared them from believing God's plan to give them that very same land. Imagine how God felt and still feels when we think His plan is taking too long or the process to fulfilling His plan is intolerable? He isn't so happy! What if Jesus never came to save us? We would all be distinct by now because we all complain! Thank God for Jesus! You did not stumble upon this podcast by mistake - take a moment to listen and be blessed!Thank you for your support always!

Consequences of Speaking Against God's Anointed One; The People Doubt Their Journey
"Touch not my anointed ones and do my prophets no harm." 1 Chronicles 16:22. I am sure we have all heard this scripture beingg recited many times! Well in this week's episode, we definitely see this verse in action when Miriam and Aaron find the audacity to speak against Moses' choice of a wife. We are also familiar with the scripture, "for we walk by faith and not by sight..." 2 Corinthians 5:7. God made a promise to the Israelites that He would bring them to a land flowing with milk and honey, however, they doubted. Despite the signs, wonders and miracles, they still doubted. How did the Lord address this faithless generation? Well, you'd have to tune in, to find out! Thank you for your support always! Happy listening!

The March to the Promise Land: The People Complain
God takes us through the wilderness journey and in the process we are praying ceaselessly, waiting patiently and seeking His Face for answers or instructions. During the wilderness journey, God is pruning us and purging us of the things that takes His place in our hearts. But we aren't given a timeline, a date or an inkling of an idea of when the process will be complete; so we begin to complain, to doubt, to almost throw in the towel.Well, in these two chapters, we see how God responds to a complaining and ungrateful people. In the place of waiting, God never left them, they never went hungry, His presence was always with them. Yet, they complained and even desired to go back to Egypt aka bondage. I pray this episode inspires you to wait on the Lord and be of good courage; knowing that all our needs are supplied according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus.Thank you for your support always!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 36 - 38
The intricate detailing of the building of the tabernacle and the Ark of Covenant makes me think of the human design and how we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. A human phenomenon we are, to behold the presence of God in all His glory right within us. But there are levels to understanding this glory and it starts with the spirit. Thank you for tuning in and for your continued support! I pray that this episode speaks to your soul and awakens your spirit in Jesus name!! Amen!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 34 & 35
"Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you (Exodus 34:10 NKJV)." To be like Christ is to embody the characteristics of Christ! We must be obedient, faithful, steadfast, spirit-filled, prayerful and filled with LOVE. What kind of life are we living as believers of Christ? What do we idolize? What is our identity in Christ? I hope this week's episode touches your spirit and causes you to seek God's face concerning His purpose for your life! Amen! Thank you for your continued support!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 32 & 33
For the Lord said to Moses, "Say to the children of Israel, 'You are a stiff-necked people. I could come up into your midst in one moment and consume you. Now therefore, take off your ornaments, that I may know what to do to you." Exodus 33:5 NKJV. Like our ancestors the Israelites, to whom by spiritual grafting we are related, we tend to be stubborn in our ways. We only want we want instead of what God wants for us. Even when we want God's will for us, we are too impatient to experience the reality of it. At what point in our Christian walk, do we come to the realization that our way is the wrong way? When do we begin to understand that unless God's name is on it, it didn't come from Him? This week's episode is definitely an eye-opener! We hope it convicts your heart as it did ours! Thank you for your continued support always! Don't forget to share this podcast with others; follow us on Instagram/Facebook at www.instagram.com/knowinggodpodcast. God bless you all!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 30 & 31
Most people skim through the readings of the books of the Old Testament for lack of understanding the message being delivered by God. This week's reading highlighted the Altar of Incense and its significance as it relates to the Israelites and God. In this episode, my special guest, Tahj Spencer, a 16-year-old high school student and vessel of God, joined me in the discussion. What did the incense represent? Why a Census? Why a ransom? We hope this episode fills you up with the desire to want to study the word as opposed to reading the word while seeking God's revelations! Thank you for your support! Happy listening!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 14 & 15
"And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever." - Exodus 14:13 - We all encounter Egypt in our lives even as believers, but God gives us the assurance that He will take us out of Egypt! In these two chapters, God continues to show His power and mighty hand as He delivers the Israelites from the hands of the Egyptians. There are times we go back to Egypt or consider going back when we are impatient with God's process; the Israelites complained when there was no water to drink on their 3 days journey in the wilderness (God was testing them). They cried that it would have been better for them to be enslaved than to suffer in the wilderness. But once again, in His grace, God heard their cries and supplied them with water. It is better to suffer for the things of God (long-suffering) than for the things of this world. We are made to understand that God will never leave us nor forsake us once we put our trust in Him! I hope you enjoy today's episode! Remember to subscribe to the podcast and share with your family and friends! God bless you!

Exodus Series: "The Exit" - Chapter 12 & 13
Today's episode features a very special guest, Mrs. Lilias (Lily) John, Financial Stylist and Entrepreneur who is a lover of God and follower of Christ. Mrs. John enlightened us with her spiritual understanding of the readings, leaving us with much to think about in our walk with God as well as those considering a relationship with God. Whew! In these two chapters we see the grace and wrath of God unfold over two nations! We liken the activities that took place in these chapters to our lives today as we reason with the afflictions many Christians face. Our reality of life differs from the life God intends for us and this can only be recognized when we have come to a place of reconciliation with ourselves and with God. How does this story relate to your life thus far? Thank you for tuning in and don't forget to subscribe to this podcast! God bless you!

Conclusion of the Genesis Series
Blessings to you! I am so excited to present the conclusion of the Genesis series! What a great way to end this season, with the story of Joseph.
