Today Pastor Darlene Klassen and Pastor Curtis Anderson lead us as we celebrate more of our community. Carrying on from Celebration Sunday, we witness baptism and testimonies of some of our Local Engagement partners and their volunteers to see how we are following our "Outward" posture to go and join God in His story and plans in our community.

As we reflect on the previous year and what God has been doing in our church, we hear stories of those from our Daycare, Worship Team, Young Adults Volunteers, Home Church members, and even the Saskatoon Public School Division on how Lakeview church has been helping our community. In this final sermon of Grace & Peace, Pastor Paul Morgun shares about how in the middle of conflict, Apostle Paul invites the Church in Philippi to humility, reconciliation, and unity. Grace received becomes grace extended. And as we receive God’s grace, we are formed into people of peace, learning to trust, to reconcile, and to depend on Christ in every circumstance.

Pastor Curtis Anderson takes us through Apostle Paul's invitation to be citizens of Heaven. This is an invitation to reorient where our lives are anchored, not to escape the world or neglect it. Heaven is the transcendent place where Jesus is King of creation, and to belong to Him means we now live as citizens of His Kingdom here and now.

Pastor Chandra Styles takes us through the next section of Philippians, exploring how God's grace reshapes our mindset, postures, and relationships. We begin to let go of selfish desires, and take on the posture of Christ. And the result is peace, not just inner calm, but a shared life marked by unity, humility, and wholeness.

As we go through the book of Philippians, Pastor Paul Morgun introduces the letter and the world in which it was written. How becoming citizens of the Kingdom of God was not like the power and prestige that came from being citizens of Rome. Grace being from the love of God, and peace being what grows out of that grace, only made possible through Christ.

Pastor Paul Morgun concludes this series by showing us the relatability of Jesus' disciples. How they get things right sometimes, show weakness other times, and how we need to surrender the earthly things we cling to in order to be shaped by Jesus.

Pastor Dalen Applegate takes over this Sunday and encourages us to be brave as we have conversations with our community, Youth Group style, and discuss how God does not remove fear, He changes how we carry it in our lives.

Pastor Paul Morgun takes us through Luke 5 to illustrate how Jesus calls us in ordinary circumstances. How we respond to this calling, even if asked to do something that makes no sense, may be the act of faith that makes a difference.

What does it mean to follow a King like Jesus? A king who, as established since Palm Sunday, has not been shown to rule as a king of this Earth. Loving those who are shunned, or being merciful when others wouldn't be? Pastor Paul Morgun leads us through the first sermon in this series, Follow Me Beyond The Cross. 

From the joy of the holiday to the cheers for baptisms, Pastor Paul Morgun shares what Holy Week has been leading up to: Resurrection Sunday. We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and honour the members of the community who got baptized on this amazing Sunday. Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. This Good Friday, Pastors Darlene Klassen and Chandra Styles lead us through a stunning depiction of the fracturing of the community Jesus was in as he was taken to be crucified.

Guest Speaker Dr. Santosh Ninan brings us our Palm Sunday message, exploring themes of what God being our King truly means, and the implications of that in our personal lives and our world at large.

Pastor Paul Morgun takes us through the classic story of Ruth and Boaz, but from the perspectives of Naomi and Ruth. Demonstrating how God works behind the scenes in our lives even when we don't feel it, and he might be doing something greater than we could have foreseen, and how staying faithful in those times works for the betterment of our relationship with God. 

Pastor Curtis Anderson takes us through the story of Gideon and his journey of going from a man who feared to a man who placed his trust in God. This sermon helps us explore how fear may be working in our own lives.

Pastor Paul Morgun takes us through the story of Jephthah and discusses how his story reflects what happens when we project our own ideas of God and His character onto Him. Exploring how our past, our influences, and the world can warp our view of God.

Pastor Curtis Anderson sits down with Dr. James Robertson about the intersection between our Christian faith and the surrounding culture.
