Motherhood Musings: Letting Go of Fears, Lies, and Beliefs about Having Children
In honor of Mother’s Day earlier this month, I wanted to publish an episode sharing the process God has been taking me through exposing the fears, beliefs, and struggles I have had around motherhood. As a woman, a daughter, a granddaughter, and an aunt, I have benefited from so many women before me walking the path of being called “Mom”. Though I loved the women in my life who were mothers, a million questions filled my heart about becoming someone who’s called "Mom" too.How hard will this be? Will it be more hard than good? Is it worth it? Will I lose myself? Are my dreams over when I have a child? Will having kids change my marriage? Is my life over? I pray this episode frees you and blesses you if you’ve had any of the same musings. I can say that the Lord has been the most precious friend and has led me into this conversation with such gentleness and beauty as we unraveled all the answers he had for me. Just like a stroll in the park, surrounded by warm air, as a gentle breeze He has answered me. <3Verses Referenced:Ephesians 3:30 Psalms 127:3-5Psalms 128:3Proverbs 17:8Other Resources referenced:With The Perrys Podcast: When You Hate the Homehttps://youtu.be/qGQxCeCRApU?si=gErkuXvdJ3gJR4FeThe Joy-Filled Podcast: Kelsea Ballerini Daydreams about the life you take for granted...https://open.spotify.com/episode/2gN29PaBG12DIUhLT22OTB?si=7uI5a2DjTsqwMj2bmIc6Pg
