Stop Worrying and Put Down the Tool Box
There is something tender about the way worry shows up. It rarely barges in announcing itself. It whispers. It nudges. It tightens your chest and stiffens your shoulders. It convinces you that if you just fix one more thing, think one more thought, anticipate one more “what if,” you will finally feel safe.So we reach for our tools. We measure outcomes that haven’t happened. We tighten bolts that aren’t loose. We rehearse conversations that may never occur. And somewhere in all that fixing, we lose our peace. Anxiety is not proof that everything is falling apart. Often, it is simply asignal — a warning light on the dashboard of the soul. It tells us something needs attention, not immediate construction. Sometimes the most spiritual, most courageous thing you can do is set the toolbox down and step back.So are you ready? Let’s go!The psalmist in Book of Psalms46:1–3 did not deny chaos. He acknowledged earthquakes, roaring waters, trembling mountains — yet he declared, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-presenthelp in trouble.” The circumstances did not change first. His posture did.Website with resources:https://lifecoach180.org/?p=2881

“The Journey Isn’t About What You Get—It’s Who You Become”
What do you value on the Journey? Is it what you obtain… or who you become? Achievement’s fade. Character remains. The process is not punishment — it is formation. What if the very season you’re trying to escape…is the one God is using to shape you? We live in a world obsessed with outcomes: Titles. Platforms. Applause. Influence. Results. But heaven measures something different. Not what you obtained. But who you became? The promotion will fade. The applause will quiet. The trophy will gather dust, however your character, that remains when the crowd leaves. So, let me ask you: Are you chasing success — or are you allowing God to shape your soul? Because the wilderness was not punishment for Jesus. The storm was not abandonment. The prison was not delay but were formations in life. Maybe the fire you’re in right nowisn’t destroying you…It’s defining you. Every journey carries three sacred processes:It builds identity. It expands capacity. It refines purpose.

Steps to Conquer a Negative Mindset
“This One Choice Is Quietly Shaping Your Life“Have you ever had a great day… and one comment ruined the whole thing?”Most of us think our lives are shaped by big decisions — but research and Scripture show something quieter is at work.” The choice of what we focus on. Our brains are wired to react more strongly to negative experiences than positive ones. We learn faster from pain than pleasure. We remember losses more than wins. That’s why one negative moment can hijack an entire day filled with good. But here’s the hope: what the brain naturally does, God can spiritually retrain. Today we’re going to look at how this works in our minds, in our relationships, and in Scripture — through the relationship between David and Saul — and how one intentional choice can quietly reshape your life. Are you ready? Let’ go!“This One Choice Is Quietly Shaping Your Life”The choice of what we focus on — positive or negative — shapes our emotional, spiritual, and relational health.“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord… And whatsoever you think about, meditate on these things.”— Philippians 4:8 (paraphrased emphasis)Our brains are wired to notice negative experiences more intensely than positive ones. Without awareness — and without God’s help — that wiring can quietly shape our lives in ways we don’t want.

Consistency Is How Faith Becomes Power
Systems Create Progress—Not Just ResultsGoals are wonderful, but goals end. systems continue.Too many people chase goals, hit them, and then lose their momentum. A system keeps you moving from one level of purpose to the next without slipping into complacency.Scripture affirms this truth:“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” — Proverbs 16:3“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5–6When your system is surrendered to God, He strengthens your consistency and directs your path.Resources and website: https://lifecoach180.org/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@lifecoach1806

God Sees the Hurt You Don't Talk About (How To Find Comfort)
When life feels too heavy and the weight on your shoulders seems like more than you can carry, remember this: God never designed you to hold everything alone. You were not built to be the source—you were built to stay connected to the Source.Jesus sees the stress you don’t talk about…The pressure you silently carry…And the tears no one else knows about. And in the middle of all of it, He’s not disappointed in you—He’s drawing near to you. What Jesus Would Say to You“Come to Me.”Not when you’re strong. Not when you have it all together. Not when you’ve figured it out.

Steps to Get off the Bench and Live Again
Today I want you to think of all the things you make space for: family, job, friends working out children, been here is my question, when are you makingtime for you? Even at the deepest level, in your relationship with God? We live alife pouring out and we wonder why we live so empty. God never meant for you to pour out, God meant for you to overflow into others. Imagine living a life full of energy and vitality filled with the spirit of God daily and overflowing into others. When life falls apart and people try to squeeze you like a sponge, they are only going to get wet by the presence of God. Because ultimately, it’s only the residual that they see from God. Psalm23:5 "You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows," 2 Corinthians 9:8, "God is able to blessyou abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work".Resources to help you grow https://lifecoach180.org/

Longevity (Remix from Pastor Tommy Kyllonen)
Longevity = Living Long, Living FullGod never intended for us to drift through life merely existing. From the beginning, His desire has always been that His people live fully — body, soul, and spirit — thriving in His promises and walking in divine purpose. Longevity in God’s design is not measured simply by how long we live, but by how well we live in faith, obedience, and peace. Each of us is given a certain number of days, but it’s the depth of those days that determines the legacy we leave behind. To live long and live full is to live in alignment with God’s heart — trusting His promises, following His lead, and loving freely. When faith fuels our steps, obedience shapes our choices, and forgiveness purifies our hearts, we become living testimonies of His goodness and power. This journey of longevity can be summed up in three divine keys that sustain a full life:Faith in God’s Promises Fuels Longevity“Then the Lord took him outside and said, ‘Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.’ Then He said to him, ‘So shall your offspring be.’ Abram believed the Lord, and He credited it to him as righteousness.” — Genesis 15:5–6 (NIV)Abraham teaches us that faith lengthens more than our days—it deepens our purpose. He believed God’s promise when the evidence said otherwise. What God breathes on, He expects us to carry and teach to others. Faith keeps us young in spirit and strong in vision. When we believe beyond what we can see, God multiplies what we surrender. George Müller, who ran orphanages through prayer alone, lived to 92 years old. Without fundraising or appeals, he trusted God for every meal. His secret to a long, full life was simple—faith in God’s impossible promises.Reflection:What promise has God made that feels too big for you right now?How can you strengthen your belief like Abraham, focusing on what God can do, not what you can’t?

Release the Stress
Do You Feel Overloaded? Life can weigh us down. The busier we are, the more our brains light up with stress signals that spread toxins, making us anxious and overwhelmed. Overload doesn’t just stay in the mind—it impacts the body too, constricting blood vessels, raising blood pressure, and depriving us of oxygen.Whether it’s deadlines, coworkers, friends, classmates, or evenprocrastination, overload steals our peace. But there’s hope—you can fight back by giving your brain a break.Recognize the Signs ofOverloadRelease Stress with Restand RenewalRemove the Things ThatDrain YouConnect with Mr. Lopez https://lifecoach180.org/

True Success is Walking in the Spirit
Walking in the Spirit determines true success—not just in what we accomplish, but in who we become along the way. Every step we take in life moves us toward a destination, whether we realize it or not. The question is: whose direction are we following? When we walk without a plan, without guidance, we tend to wander aimlessly, making choices that can leave us feeling lost, stuck, or weighed down by regret. But when each morning begins with seeking God’s direction, our steps are ordered by the One who already knows the path ahead.God is our ultimate GPS, far more reliable than any map or app we could consult. Unlike human plans that can fail or reroute us through unnecessary detours, His leading always brings us closer to His purpose for our lives.I remember a time when I was driving in an unfamiliar city and decided I didn’t need the GPS. At first, I felt confident—I thought I knew which way to go. But before long, I was circling the same streets, frustrated and late for my appointment. Only when I finally humbled myself and turned the GPS back on did I find the right path. That moment reminded me how easily we can lose our way when we depend on our own sense of direction instead of guidance from above.Subscribe to the blog https://lifecoach180.org/?p=2677

You can't do everything but you can do something (Remix Pastor Kyllonen)
Remixed from Pastor Tommy Kyllonen Crossover ChurchStory: The Boy and the StarfishOne morning, a man walking along the beach saw thousands of starfish washed up on the shore after a storm. In the distance, he noticed a boy bending down, picking them up one by one, and tossing them back into the ocean. The man approached and said, “There are miles of beach and thousands of starfish. You can’t possibly make a difference.”The boy picked up another starfish, gently threw it into the waves, and replied: “I made a difference for that one.”The boy couldn’t do everything—but he could do something. And that’s exactly how Jesus calls us to live. He didn’t try to solve every problem in the world during His earthly ministry, but everywhere He went, He did something—healing the sick, teaching the crowds, and investing deeply in His disciples.Check out the blog--->>>https://lifecoach180.org/?p=2635

Ways We Quench the Holy Spirit
Key Insight: By actively reshaping how we perceive experiences, we enhance not just emotional well-being but also spiritual growth. How does God want us to regulate our emotions so that we would not quench the Holy spirit? This image shows the "Wheel of Emotions" developed by Dr. Gloria Willcox, which categorizes core human emotions and their intensities. It’s a helpful tool for emotional awareness and regulation — something that is deeply aligned with how God invites us to live by the Spirit and not quench Him (1 Thessalonians 5:19). Paul gives some instruction and smack in the middle he say….16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil.We are guided by the Holy Spirit to discern however we can suppress the working of the Holy Spirit when we allow the old man to rise with all of his emotional baggage.Blog https://lifecoach180.org/?p=2624Subscribe to our Monthly Newsletter https://lifecoach180.org/?page_id=131

God is Enough
God enoughWe live either in constant state of want, just to miss out on peace because we are looking for the next thing. When is thelast time you remember being content? WhenI get the next pair of shoes, outfit material possession then I will be content; only to be dissatisfied looking for the next thing: Once I have that special someone in my life or change who I am to appeal to others then I will have enough. The question on the table, is God enough? Does he complete you or simply fill in one of the gaps in your life? In 2nd Corinthians 9:8 Paul shares with the Corinthians his gratefulness for their giving spirit as he is picking up resource and financial help for the needs of saints in Jerusalem, he expresses to them “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, youwill abound in every good work.” True fulfillment is when we live in a state of being grateful with all that we need verses all that we want. When Our heartsopen to giving, we can now reach a state of love towards others outside ourselves in order to live content. God’s blessings flow with an open hand, however we must be willing to help others without expecting anything in return, why? Because God is simply enough. If today you are feeling disconnected or discontented withlife and the situation you are in, consider is God enough. You got this!Join Life Coach 180

Emotional Well Being (From struggling to Victory)
Lesson Summary:Our perception of events plays a crucial role in shaping our emotional well-being. The way individuals interpret experiences determines their emotional responses, leading to vastly different reactions to the same situation. Psychological research supports this concept through cognitive appraisal theory, which explains how individuals evaluate events as positive, negative, or neutral.Key Discussion Points:1. Cognitive Appraisal (Lazarus, 1991)2. Biblical Example: The Twelve Spies (Numbers 13:25-33)3. Cognitive Distortions (Beck, 1976)4. Practical Applications for Managing Perception:5. Your Interpretation Shapes Your Reality ( 3 Bias that can hold us back)
Introduction: Your Interpretation Shapes Your RealityOur perception of the world is not purely objective—it is shaped by our emotions, biases, experiences, and beliefs. Cognitive psychology shows that the way we interpret situations directly influences our emotional and spiritualwell-being. In other words, how we react to challenges reflects our level of maturity—both spiritually and emotionally. In this lesson, we will explore how cognitive biases—such as confirmation bias, anchoring bias, and hindsight bias—impact our decision-making and perception. We will also examine how perception affects emotions and spiritual growth, using both psychological research and biblical narratives to reinforcethese insights. By understanding how our minds shape reality, we can learn to manage our thoughts, regulate emotions, and develop a stronger faith-driven perspective.By the end of this lesson, participants will be able to:1. Understand the Role of Biases in Shaping Perception2. Recognize the Emotional Impact of Perception3. Apply Biblical and Psychological Insights to Personal Growth4. Develop Strategies for Managing Perception for Spiritual and Emotional Well-BeingWhat the research says: Cognitive psychology shows thatperception is subjective, influenced by biases, emotions, and experiences. The way we interpret situations defines our emotional and spiritual state. In other words, the way you react to a situation will demonstrate our level of maturity either spiritually or emotionally.

Jesus The Only One Who Truly Defied Gravity
The Only One Who Truly Defied GravityLife Coach 180He defied the laws of earth and eternity—not with spectacle, but with divinepurpose. While others faced brokenness, He remained whole, fulfilling prophecy."He protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken." — Psalm34:20, echoed in John 19:36(For these things happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: “Notone of His bones will be broken.”)At the cross, where bones were often shattered to hasten death, His remainedintact. Even in agony, He fulfilled every word spoken of Him.When the grave was supposed to silence Him, it could not hold Him. The stone was notjust rolled away—it was cast aside by resurrection power."Heis not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where helay." — Matthew 28:6Death lost its grip, and the tomb lost its claim. What was meant to be a finalresting place became a doorway to eternal life. Hedescended into the depths, entering the realm of darkness—not to be conquered, but to declare victory. He ministered even to the imprisoned spirits and tookback what the enemy had stolen."After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisonedspirits..." — 1 Peter 3:19"He disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle ofthem, triumphing over them by the cross." — Colossians 2:15He took the keys of sin, death, hell, and the grave, stripping them of powerforever."I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And Ihold the keys of death and Hades." — Revelation 1:18Then, He ascended—not just rising into the skies, but returning in glory to the righthand of the Father, where He reigns in majesty."After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of theMajesty in heaven." — Hebrews 1:3But the story is not over. He will return, not as the suffering servant, but as theconquering King, riding on a white horse."I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider iscalled Faithful and True." — Revelation 19:11And in that moment, those who believe will be caught up in the clouds to meet Him,gravity defied once again by the One who conquered all."Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in theclouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with theLord." — 1 Thessalonians 4:17

Check Your Motivation
Check Your Motives: The Driving Force Behind Your Pursuits Motives create the desire to pursue something, but the key question is: Is what you are pursuing truly worth it? Even if you follow a light, you must examine your footing; otherwise, you risk following that light over a cliff. James addresses this concept in James 4:1-3: “What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures” (NIV). God’s response to our request is 4-fold: Yes, No, Not yet or with the wrong motives zero chance. You are the Gift (Devotional and Daily Meditation)
Imagine unwrapping a beautifully adorned gift, full of excitement and expectation for the treasures within. Yet, for many, the experience is a disappointment—a barren box filled with empty promises. Sadly, some believers reflect this reality. They appear radiant and admirable outwardly, like bright and beautiful wrapping paper, but on the inside, they lack true substance. This is not who God created you to be. You are a precious treasure, designed by the Creator Himself. Jesus left His heavenly throne to claim a gift more valuable than anything else: you. How to Own Time Wisely
Time is elusive, often slipping through our hands when we long to hold onto it, yet dragging when we face hardship. The Bible offers wisdom to help us navigate this paradox, teaching us to accept the seasons of life (Ecclesiastes 3:1) and to control our thoughts by aligning them with Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Joyful moments, though brief, are divine gifts (James 1:17), and by remembering God’s goodness (Psalm 77:11-12), we can allow positive experiences to resonate within us. Finally, Philippians 4:8 calls us to focus on what is true and praiseworthy, helping us cultivate peace regardless of life’s changing pace. In sum, these verses remind us that while time itself may be beyond our control, how we experience it is deeply influenced by where we set our focus. When we let God shape our thoughts, we can embrace each moment with wisdom, peace, and gratitude. Subscribe to our monthly newsletter and free resources

The Trampoline of Faith
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16) Would you ever jump on a trampoline if it had no springs holding up the mat? Explain. That would be crazy, yet our spiritual walk consists of eight fundamental core beliefs that support our faith allowing us to jump through life successfully. The opposite is also true when we try to live life and succeed under our own will and power it results in falling straight to the ground. Ouch! To be successful in life as a disciple of Jesus you must: engage in His Word, understand your faith and in what you believe in, and grow in the knowledge of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. To join God’s team you must commit to the FOUR: God loves you, sin separates you from him, Jesus rescued you from sin, and you need to accept Him as your savior. Resources with worksheet

The Great Gift: Join God's Squad
For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) True love takes action to support, keep safe, and always count on someone, no matter the circumstance. I love the way David Wilkerson expresses it, “Love is not only something you feel, it is something you do.” True love takes actions which has been demonstrated by the God of this universe. God isn’t somewhere up in heaven sitting idly by wondering what will happen to us, however, God intercepted death, hell, and the grave by sending His son in our place. When you commit to follow Jesus the path you take will transform your life for eternity. Being a disciple means you follow Jesus and devote your life to learning and living the way He lived on this earth. Growth is a process with ups and downs, peaks and valleys, however, the difference is you are never alone. Jesus promised to always be there, “...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). How does it make you feel to know you are never alone? God's Promises Make Space
A new beginning starts today when you stop feeding the negative cow. “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18–19 Take some time to reflect on the promise of God. Hi-light in red what is negative and discouraging. Highlight in green the promises of God that encourage you to meditate on the good He is doing now, not what the past has done to keep you down. When we ruminate on the past, it’s similar to how cows chew their cud or food. They chew, spit it out, chew, spit it out, and continue over and over. What a nasty thought, however, isn’t it tiring and mentally cluttering to chew and spit and then chew and spit out negative thoughts? God wants to do something new in your life but as long as you meditate and ruminate on the past, you will never have the space needed to allow God to create and fill in all the amazing things in your life God’s Word can be recycled daily. Use it over and over to create space in your life for peace, joy, and happiness. What you desire is what you become. It’s as easy as one, two, and three. Let’s practice. You just experienced number one, by highlighting in green God’s promises you can easily reference and begin to own His promises for you. Next, rewrite God’s promise on a sticky note or a note card where it becomes visible. Finally, meditate and memorize the promise; in so doing it will occupy the space where the negative thoughts won’t begin to stock-pile like dirty laundry. Go Green and Recycle God‘s Promises God’s Word can be recycled daily. Use it over and over to create space in your life for peace, joy, and happiness. What you desire is what you become. Playing through the Hurt feat. Deion Sanders
How do you handle pain when you experience it? Do you run from pain, embrace it or pray it goes away? In life you must learn to play hurt. The phrase “playing hurt” can carry the connotation of the unwise sacrifice of long-term health in pursuit of short-term gains. Like football players who play with a chalk full of pain meds and anti-inflammatory meds to push through injuries that unfortunately became a permanent, debilitating factor in their life long after the season is over. Gotta Be Da Shoes: Chapter 8 Blessed Soles: You are a Masterpiece (Tommy Kyllonen)
Instead of rocking’ the name brand sneakers, we tend to live a life in a contrary fashion, like sneakers that are holey and talk back to you. It is important to embrace your true purpose, or "calling," like stepping into a pair of pristine sneakers. What I mean is that we have the tendency to settle for worn-out sneakers that no longer serve their purpose. This resonates with personal experiences of wearing worn-out footwear, but also highlights the transformative power of stepping into something new and empowering. The mention of wearing Jordan Eleven’s for the first time created a sense of empowerment and possibility, akin to believing in one's ability to emulate NBA heroes. However, Tommy suggests that this feeling pales in comparison to what God desires for individuals. God's intention is for people to live life to the fullest, which can only be achieved through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Thus, the paragraph underscores the idea of embracing one's purpose and potential, while also emphasizing the spiritual dimension of fulfillment. This I believe is achieving true fulfill as you begin to walk into the masterpiece you were meant to be. The term "masterpiece" often connotes the highest value being placed on originality and uniqueness, much like the way custom-designed and original sneakers are valued at higher prices. This analogy prompts a thought-provoking question: why do we, as individuals, enter this world as unique originals only to conform and become mere replicas of others as we go through life? I encourage to seize the present moment by fully embracing your unique purpose and worth. By doing so, you can live authentically and fulfill your true potential. Dealing with Past Hurts
Though life may currently feel like a desert and wasteland, take heart because your past doesn’t define your future. It takes the fire of pain to purify the gold that is inside you. You must dwell on the now (what is in front of you). Every twenty-four hours you receive is an opportunity to go 1-0. Maximize your day by focusing on what you can accomplish in the time frame given and erase from your memory what you didn’t accomplish. I want you to imagine walking in the newness of all the things you are hoping to accomplish and achieve. God is sharing that He is making a new way through the desert. He is providing streams in the middle of the scorching sand. This is your time to list all the possibilities and dreams you have. Day 9: Choose to Win by Starving Negative Emotions (Tommy Newberry)
The 4:8 Principal Tommy Newberry (p.109-122) Starving Negative Emotions “8 Ways to Put Out the Fire” When you deal with negative emotions you have a couple of basic choices: You can suppress them by keeping them buried inside ultimately making yourself sick. Or you can express your negativity to those closest to you and make them sick. For many people they think there's only two options. In other words, for most of the people you know, suppression and expression are the only tools in the emotional toolbox. “If the only tool you have is a hammer, then everything starts to look like a nail.” According to Newberry, “to live a life of maximum joy, you must learn how to minimize the negative emotions so they will not dominate your life. For example, imagine covering a small campfire with a bucket of dirt. Instantly it is snuffed out. Now think about your mind set prior to smothering IT. First, you developed the desire to put out the fire out, probably because you were leaving the campground or going to sleep. Then you made the decision to do so. Finally, you acted. If your goal was to put out the fire, you would never think of throwing on another log or dousing it with gasoline. Negative emotions work the same way. If you want to extinguish them, do it with positive, constructive thinking. It's important that you refuse to nourish those negative thoughts. In other words, let them starve, don't allow them to develop into a blazing inferno. Tom Newberry points out eight ways we can put out the fire. Go get your toolbox, open it up and let's drop 8 new tools. Are you ready let's go! Day 8: Choose to Win with Holistic Vision (Featuring Jose Perez)
Impacting others means you must in part vision by creating a buy in. Jose Perez shares the impact of vision. He shares, “vision must continue to be fed financially and emotionally. To sustain vision, it must have a holistic approach. Simply focusing on financial reward in the long run will result in a lack of passion. When you align financial reward with the emotional content, longevity will result in business partnership and ministry. We live in a time where loyalty has waned in organizations of every kind. Jumping from business venture or job to jobs. We live in a time called the great resignation in which people are quitting in record numbers. I believe Jose shares the secret to re-fuel you as you lead others In order to sustain vision you must take a holistic approach. Think of a fire that you want to continue to fuel the key burning what are the logs that you're gonna add on to it that provide the fire from going out. That's our approach in business you have to have an emotional log have empathy for your employer for your employees, connection and relationship. There needs to be a log of compensation, are they making enough to sustain their families and to fuel the vision of the company. There also needs to be a log of empowerment does their vision line up with the company's vision to continue to build the bridge Of the organization or for that matter the ministry. How many churches have become so disconnected with their congregation and the community because we follow narrow vision of a pastor and not the broader vision of God. When we consider the needs of the people that we pour into; consider the needs of the community and the impact that it makes, unity will be built. Our energy will always be placed on what we most value. Day 5 Attitude of Gratitude featuring Liz Lopez
An attitude of gratitude must believed out by our actions John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” It’s not how many gratitude notes you write, rather living a life that reflects gratitude in your actions and deeds. An Attitude of Gratitude Has a Way of Lighting Flames of Inspiration In Our Hearts According to Albert Schweitzer, “At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” It’s always in the moments when we least expect it, a warm thank you, or an “I appreciate you”, that can make a world of difference. Each moment of gratitude we show others is like the seeds of a dandelion carried by the wind to propagate in places unknown. We never know how far it reaches but we can rest assured it will blossom where it lands. Subscribe and get to know us at lifecoach180.org

Day 3 Take Small Steps Towards Your Win
Today we will explore how taking small steps towards your win will eventually lead you to your destination. Tom Ziglar shares that most people coast along the slow lane of mediocrity unless they are trying to avoid an accident or get into one. In other words, for mediocre people change must be forced upon them. Have you heard of the statement that the majority of people only change when they hit rock bottom, if they make it out all together. Today take the first step and be intentional with the things you want to change in your life. Journal them out in order to visualize them. Next, consider the small steps it will take daily to get you to your destination. Change Your Tomorrow Day 20
“Everything that exists originated in the omniscient imagination of the almighty. It was a thought before it became a thing and that includes you. You were once an idea and the imagination of God.” Hold that thought for a minute shares, Batterson. •We live our lives forward, but God is working in our lives backward. •“We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance”(Ephesians 2:10). • Translation God is setting you up: When God gives a vision, He makes a provision. Find Your Purpose Beyond the Sand Day 19
The first step in finding purpose is to enrich and nurture your gifts and talents. You won’t find them by focusing on your inabilities or inadequacies, but in who you were meant to be. Tony Evans said it this way, “knowing God leads us into a deeper recognition of our spiritual identity. A deeper knowledge of God can lead us to a deeper understanding of ourselves as God’s sons and daughters.” In other words, it’s not the reflection of a mirror which cast the true image of who you are, yet it’s who you were meant to be in light of how you were created by God. The Power of Words Under Water Day 18
It’s important that you think again about what you say because it has adverse effects for you and those all around you. Scripture teaches, “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear (Ephesians 4:29 NIV). We seem to believe that speaking negative or venting in extreme manners can change the situation, yet it does the opposite. The word of God clearly instructs us to utilize words that builds us and others up for the sole purpose of providing grace to the listener. Our words are like a conductor of an orchestra which guide others to either play in harmony or be out of tune. To be responsive comes with preparation and when we take captive negative thoughts and meditate on thoughts that are positive there isn’t a wave that can knock us down. Be the Ripple Day 17
Today decide to finish. The first step of finishing is to make the decision that no matter what, the task or project will no longer be postponed. Sometimes this will mean saying no to more things up front, so they never make it on the to do list begin with, making it easier to eliminate unnecessary busy work. What's the plan? “Consider where you are headed before you start the journey.” It’s like taking a family trip to the beach without planning what you are bringing or how you will arrive at your destination. “...All things should be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40NIV). The turbulence of the water can be demoralizing as the quest for calm waters can seem just out of reach. Deep inside we have dreams and visions that are waiting to cross the white surf. We can all face issues that keep us doubting as one wave after another hits and keeps us off balance. Our confidence wains because of progress; we want it fast, and we want it now. The Lifeguard of Salvation Day 15
From the inception, surfers have learned two common practices in handling waves they face. Surfers either push through the wave or ride it. Similarly, when pushing towards your dreams you have to be determined to be persistent enough to push through the waves of circumstances or use them as energy and ride them. However, there is a third option to break through the wave and that occurs when all else fails; someone must tow you out, meaning simply to be assisted towards your dreams you will be pulled towards it. Your dreams are closer than you think. Your hope lies in the pursuit of tackling the wave; either pushing, riding, or being pulled in an effort to break through to the other side. I believe it’s the appreciation of the journey that meeting the milestones will happen towards your destiny.
