ALL Scripture read from English Standard Version (ESV). I. Praise the Father who planned your salvation from the beginning. (vs 3-6)“Praise the Father, Praise the Son, Praise the Spirit, Three in One God of Glory, Majesty, Praise forever to the King of kings.” II. Praise the Son who purchased your salvation on the cross. (vs 7-12)“In the darkness we were waiting, without hope, without light Till from Heaven You came running, there was mercy in Your eyes To fulfill the law and prophets, to a virgin came the word From a throne of endless glory, to a cradle in the dirt.” “To reveal the kingdom coming, and to reconcile the lost To redeem the whole creation, You did not despise the cross For even in Your suffering, You saw to the other side Knowing this was our salvation, Jesus for our sake You died.” III. Praise the Spirit who preserves your salvation by guaranteeing your inheritance. (13-14) “And the morning that You rose, all of Heaven held its breath Till that stone was moved for good, for the Lamb had conquered death And the dead rose from their tombs, and the angels stood in awe For the souls of all who’d come to the Father are restored.” “And the church of Christ was born, then the Spirit lit the flame Now this gospel truth of old, shall not kneel, shall not faint By His blood and in His Name, in His freedom I am free For the love of Jesus Christ, who has resurrected me.”

    Date: Sunday, July 19, 2026 Sermon Title: “Songs of Summer—Week 3—Firm Foundation” Main Scripture: Matthew 7:24-27 Supporting Scripture: Psalm 96:1-2, Matthew 7:21-23, Psalm 62:1-2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:28, Hebrews 10:23, Psalm 46:1-3. I. You must build your life on His Word. (vs 24)“Christ is my firm foundation, the Rock on which I stand When everything around me is shaking, I’ve never been more glad That I put my faith in Jesus, Cause He’s never let me down He’s faithful through generations, so why would He fail now? He won’t, He won’t.” II. You must believe His Word will carry you through the storm. (vs 25)“Rain came and wind blew, but my house was built on You I’m safe with You, I’m gonna make it through Yeah, I’m gonna make it through, Cause I’m standing strong on You Yeah, I’m gonna make it through, Cause my house is built on You.” III. You must beware of false foundations. (vs 26-27) “I’ve still got joy in chaos, I’ve got peace that makes no sense So, I won’t be going under, I’m not held by my own strength Cause I build my life on Jesus, He’s never let me down He’s faithful through every season, So why would He fail now? He won’t.”
